Morning Prayer Summary for Wednesday, January 22, 2020

Ms. Annie led us singing Refiner’s Fire

Pastor Ray…

I feel like the more fire we have, the more fire we get, the more fire we want. It’s an interesting way that we’ve been created. When we want more, we get more but then we want more (ha, ha, ha). It’s not that we’re dissatisfied; we are just hungry for more.

Ms. Annie…

It’s one of those things I want to ask Him when I get to heaven. “Lord, how is it that You’re the only thing that satisfies? But the more we have of You, we’re never satisfied and we just want more?” (ha, ha, ha)

But He’s the only thing that truly satisfies.

Pastor Ray…

Before we started this morning, Ms. Annie was saying something about the fire in the upper room.

Ms. Annie…

I heard Reinhart share on the upper room and how the tongues of fire appeared on each of them. The tongues of fire were divided. There were 120 tongues. There was a flame on each person and there were two things he said that really went in me. One was that on each person, that particular tongue of fire is uniquely suited to their personality.

He was exhorting everybody “let that tongue of fire consume your personality and then allow your unique personality to go forth in the power of the Holy Spirit.” There are so many billions of people in the world and no two finger prints are the same. Billions and billions of people have lived and no two finger prints are the same, have ever been the same. No two snowflakes have ever been the same.

God has created everything in infinite variety, including us. And so that those cloven tongues, tongues of fire comes on you when you are baptized in the Holy Spirit, to allow it to burn in your personality and allow your unique supply to fulfill God’s plan when He created You before the foundation of the world. He envisioned you! Hallelujah!

Then the other thing, we know spirit, soul, and body. God is a Spirit and we are spirit created in His image and then everything in the physical world is a type and a shadow of the spirit world. And I had never seen this, coven tongues as a fire. Well the word cloven tongues, that is the exact same word that’s used everywhere else in the New Testament. The Greek word for the tongue. Like when Jesus loosed the man’s tongue and they spoke with tongues.

It was a tongue, an actual tongue. He was saying the fire of God in a spiritual tongue which came on them and touched their physical tongue and immediately, what did they do? (tongues) They spoke in heavenly tongues.

When the fire of God touches us, the first way that it manifested on the human race was as a flaming burning tongue that instantly affected their physical tongue and (tongues).

Oh, that just stirred me up to yield more to speaking in tongues. Whoa! I don’t need to just go “Oh, I need more fire! I need more fire!” No, I need to yield to the fire that he put in my tongue.

Ms. Sue…

I read an article the other day about the tongue. Not only do they identify people by their finger prints but every person’s tongue has its own print. None are the same. So, the tongue that goes forth from us, none are the same.

Ms. Annie…

And the tongue, no man can tame. The only thing that can tame our tongue is when the fire of God comes on us and our tongue instantly is bridled into the will of our Holy Father.

Pastor Ray…

No wonder we can’t be like somebody else or should never want to be. We can look to other people to see what they have done and believe God to do what He has called us to do because He did it for them. But we can never be somebody else – because we have our own tongue print (ha, ha, ha).

Ms. Annie…

We have our own spirit print. Your spirit is so unique. He wanted it that way. He made it that way. If your spirit is a snowflake, it’s the only snowflake that looks like you! And He doesn’t want another snowflake to look like you. He wants you to look like you. And then let His fire (tongues) Whoo!

Pastor Ray…

We were talking about the fire, when you have it, you are on fire. You can’t help but get up and do something. You can’t just be complacent. And, therefore, you will stand out. But we’re not moved by what we think people are thinking about us because we have our own identity, spirit, soul, and body.

The following excerpt was taking from Say Yes by Rick Renner:

What to Do If God Chooses You but You Feel Like Giving Up

In Romans 1:16, Paul wrote, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth….” Later, he reminded the Roman church of his style and method of preaching: “Through mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God; so that from Jerusalem, and round about unto Illyricum, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ” (Romans 15:19). Backed by the authority of Heaven, Paul made proclamations about God’s kingdom and His miracle-working, life-transforming power. The results of this bold, promise-making kind of preaching were fantastic.

Now this word paressia is used in Hebrews 10:35: “Cast not therefore your confidence….” The word “confidence” evidently alludes to the bold, brave, fearless promises, declarations, or confessions these believers had made in connection with the Gospel and God’s call on their lives.

Just as the apostle Paul boldly proclaimed the Gospel and its promises to an unbelieving world, these saints had been professing, declaring, and laying claim to the promises of God’s Word for their personal lives. They had done it boldly. They had done it audibly. What they believed in their hearts is what they had spoken loudly and clearly to anyone who wanted to listen. However, when the results weren’t forthcoming as quickly as they wanted, they were tempted to toss their faith away and count it as nonsense. But the writer of Hebrews urged them not to do it because faith “…hath great recompense of reward.”

The phrase “recompense of reward” is from the Greek word misthapodosia. This word is a compound of two Greek words, mistha and podos. The word mistha is the word for money, a person’s salary, or for a payment that is due. The word podos is the word for foot or feet. It is the root word for a podiatrist, which is a foot doctor.

When these two words are compounded, it presents a picture of money traveling by feet and headed in your direction. This is payment, recompense; a reward headed your way. One man has coined the phrase, Money cometh. There is actually no better translation than this for the Greek word misthapodosia.

This word carries the thought of being paid for present labor, reimbursed for past expenses, provided reparations for past injustices, and rewarded at some point in the future. Let’s look at each of these aspects of the word “recompense” and see how they apply to you, your dreams, and to the call of God on your life.

God pays you by giving you victories in different areas of your life. That pay may be success in your ministry. It may be financial. It may be a greater anointing than you’ve ever had. It may be a phenomenal increase of prosperity. It may be that God pays you by providing a long-term friendship you’ll be able to count on for years to come. God has all kinds of ways to recompense us for staying in faith and doing what He called co do.

(We could add in there it maybe a supernatural increase in the fire of God working through you. It’s payback time.)

But one thing is for sure, God wants you and me to receive a blessing for the services that we’ve rendered in His Kingdom.

Thank God for Heaven! You’ll receive a future reward there too. But right now you’re here on planet earth, with physical and material needs that must be met. You need blessings and help right now to live and take care of your personal responsibilities. The devil may try to hinder God’s blessings from arriving at your doorstep, but don’t give up! It’s right for you to expect to receive payment for your labors even now.

Pastor Ray…

So let’s be the one that takes the fire to others. Let’s be the one that takes the power of Holy Spirit to others. I mean, why do we want to be on fire? So that we’ll just run around and fall over? No. We want to be burning so bright, so hot, we’ll not be able to stop, we’ll not be able to even sit down but we’ll be able to stand up and ask for in the middle of it, more fire! Hallelujah. More fire of the Holy Spirit that gives us power, strength. We’re cleansed in it, healed, whole, healthy—prosperous in every way. Thank You for it, Father.

Different gifts, different anointings, different kinds of fire that are fine tuned to each one of us… we’ve been commissioned, called. We’ve been anointed individually. That’s why we can say what we said “Personally.” It’s a personal fire, a fire that is from heaven.

No boundaries, no limits… No, no, no because we have to move, we have to grow, we have to go, we have to flow (ha, ha, ha). So, those personal imprints, fingerprints, our tongues – they are like blueprints from heaven. They have been placed inside of us and we must and we will and we declare it this morning “Carry it out!” Whoooo Lord! More and more and more and more holy fire! A holy fire! Hallelujah, Lord! Oh, what a show, what a revelation, what understanding, wisdom, heaven sent!

I like that picture. Individually when we all are together like this in one accord as a company, if we begin to pray in other tongues, my tongue is different than Ms. Annie’s tongue. My tongue is different than anyone here in this room, unique but given by the power of Holy Spirit within us to pray out, it is in one accord but it’s covering many different situations, right now today from this place.

Ms. Constance…

The Pastor was speaking and I got this from 2 Corinthians.

Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place. 2 Corinthians 2:14 (NKJV)

It touched me and I saw the fragrance of tongues. (tongues) Thank You, Father.

The pastor was giving a Word and my sister was giving a Word which touched me. We are different. We are so different and when we are different like that, accept each other and receive what somebody is saying, be blessed in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Pastor Ray…

Hallelujah, thank You, Father, glory. Thank You.

Unique anointings, different drawings, you know, different names… That’s covered, that is covered in the blood, reaching forward, that that man or that woman child can come to… We lift these words up.

Ms. Cindy…

On the way here I was praying in the Spirit about some physical pain in my body. And the Lord was showing me how I have not been speaking from my spirit as much. So I just received that correction and declared, “I speak by the Spirit! I don’t speak by my own intellect! I flow in the Spirit because a river runs through me!”

Sometimes the river is slow and sometimes it’s fast and I don’t always know where it’s going but I am not the one who determines how it flows. And if I just let the river continually flow through me, I will be speaking by the Spirit!

Then He took me to Ephesians 3:10–11, to the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places, according to the eternal purpose which He accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord,

When I pray in the spirit, I wait to hear what He will say out of my mouth. From the abundance of the heart, our mouth speaks. And from our heart flows the wellsprings of life, the ways of escape. That’s the wisdom of God. So, I am endeavoring more and more not to stop and check in with my head. If He tells me to say something, I want to be quick to say it. I don’t want to stop to compare myself to others, because He wants to speak through me.

He is saying “Okay, Cindy, when I whisper in your ear, get up and say it so the whole house can hear and everyone in the house can come together in faith.”

His eternal purpose is that each one of us would be in Christ showing and speaking forth the very wisdom of God. All of creation waits eagerly for the revealing of the sons of God and even the angels long to look into these things.

But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory. I Corinthians 2:7

We thank You, Father, for the gift of tongues. We thank You, Father, for the wells of wisdom that comes forth when we speak by the Spirit.

And we are setting these truths forth in words not taught by human wisdom but taught by the [Holy] Spirit, combining and interpreting spiritual truths with spiritual language [to those who possess the Holy Spirit]. I Corinthians 2:13 (AMPC)

In the river of God, speaking to God and speaking to ourselves, declaring the wisdom of God, not the wisdom of this world which is devilish and earthly and sensual! But the wisdom from on high! Each one of us opening up our mouths and speaking those things by the Spirit and great happenings coming forth, Lord, on this earth! Changing, rearranging, and lining things up!

Break, Break, Break Loose the Fountains of the Deep! Bringing forth strong council, words spoken by the Spirit out of the hearts of men!

Ms. Constance…

We blast the sickness and disease, we blast it in the name of Jesus, we crush it in the mighty name of Jesus, Holy Ghost FIRE! Depart! Depart! Depart! Depart!

I want to say a dream which I was reminded I think a week ago. We were praying like this in this chapel and Pastor Lynne, when she was praying she came straight to me and she gave me an envelope and I said “Wow, what is this?” She smiled and went. Then I started to stand. I started praying and I saw people being healed and people were being healed like never before. I had forgotten this dream but the Lord had reminded me to tell you. Amen.

Pastor Ray…

Hallelujah. He has an envelope for each one of us (ha, ha, ha). It’s signed, sealed, and it’s been delivered, stamped with the blood, finished at the Cross, already finished at the CROSS! Oooooh ooohh ooooohh!!
