Morning Prayer Summary for Wednesday, August 26, 2020

Pastor Tim…

Well, Good Morning everybody. Welcome to Wednesday morning prayer. Really, really excited to be with you this morning.

Last week we had our Upper Midwest Faith Explosion meetings. Pastor Mac set his heart for those meetings to be a point of contact for us all to believe God for breakthrough. This morning, I want us to come together with him in faith and believe God for the breakthrough in whatever area of our lives we’ve been believing in Him for. To continue to stand on the Word of God, His promises, and believe there is a breakthrough coming for you whether it’s physical healing, finances, relationships, a new job – whatever it is, just continue to believe Him. The Bible says, don’t be weary in well doing but continue to stand and when you’ve done all to stand, just keep standing because the promise of God for you is always, yes and amen. His Word will never fail you.

This morning, I feel like God has put some things on my heart to share with you regarding healing and who God is.

The first thing I do in the morning is say, “Father, this is Your beloved son, Tim, coming to You in the name of Your Son, Jesus. Father, I just thank You and I praise You for who You are.”

Before I thank Him for what He’s done or start making my requests, I thank Him just because of who He is. He’s God and He’s everything that we need. He has everything that we need. He provides everything that we need but He is everything that we need. And I started thinking about the twelve names of God. They describe certain qualities and characteristics. I believe this will encourage you to continue to stand for what He has promised you.

  1. Elohim: My Creator. He is the creator. He created everything that exists.
  2. Jehovah: My Lord God. There’s no god like Him. No god beside Him. Yes, there are other gods but they are gods that are made with human hands. They have eyes but can’t see. They have ears but can’t hear. They have mouths but cannot speak. They have hands but cannot touch or feel. There’s no god, but our God, Jehovah.
  3. El Shaddai: My Supplier. The God Who is more than enough, All Sufficient One. He can and He wants to supply everything that we need, more than we could ask or even imagine.
  4. Adonai:
  5. Jehovah Jireh: My Provider. He provides everything we need according to His riches and glory by Christ Jesus.
  6. Jehovah Nissi: My Banner.
  7. Jehovah Mekoddishkem: My Sanctifier.
  8. Jehovah Tsidkenu: My Righteousness. And because of His righteousness, we have been made righteous. That’s why we can say, I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Bought with the precious blood of the Lamb. I’ve been redeemed from the curse. Everything that’s a part of the curse. Everything that’s under the curse. We’ve been redeemed from the curse. Our sins have been removed from us. Past, present, and future. We’ve been forgiven of all of our transgressions. We’ve been redeemed from every kind of sickness, disease, and infirmity. We’ve been redeemed from every kind of oppression and depression. We’ve been redeemed from poverty and lack. Everything that’s contrary to the Word of God. We’ve been redeemed from it. So He is our righteousness.
  9. Jehovah Shalom: My Peace. He is the peace that passes all understanding. If we keep our minds stayed on Him, He fills us with that peace and that peace will mount guard and mount garrison over our hearts and over our minds. He’s our Shalom, our peace. Completeness. Nothing missing, nothing lacking. I love that. Wholeness. He not only wants to heal us, but he wants to make us whole. Nothing missing. Nothing lacking. Everything is complete in Him. So, He’s Jehovah Shalom our peace.
  10. Jehovah Rohi: My Shepherd.

“The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want
He makes me lie down in green pastures
He leads me beside still waters
He restores and refreshes my soul
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death
I will fear no evil
Because He’s right there beside me. It goes on to say that He sets a table before us. It’s more for us in the presence of our enemies.
His rod and His staff, they guide, and they comfort us.
And surely His goodness and his mercy will follow us all the days of our life.” Psalm 23

That’s why we could say, “Every day is getting sweeter, every day is getting better.” That’s the hope and the expected end that He has promised us.

He said in Jeremiah 29:11, “I know the thoughts and the plans that I have for you are good and welfare, not for evil or for destruction, but to give you a hope and a future, an expected end.” That’s why we can declare regardless of what our circumstances look like, “It’s going to get better.” That’s God’s promise to us!

  1. Jehovah Shammah: My Abiding Presence. When we receive Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior, we receive the person of the Holy Spirit. He lives. He dwells here. He abides here. The very Spirit that raised Christ Jesus from the dead, lives on the inside of us, quickens our moral bodies with His Life—His health, His wholeness, His Prosperity, His peace, everything that we need! We carry His presence with us wherever we go. And wherever we are, He said that He’ll never leave us, He’ll never forsake us.

There’s one more name of God that I want to share with you and I really want to emphasize this morning. As the Lord has directed me.

  1. Jehovah Raffi: My Healer. I think it’s so interesting that not only has God provided us healing through His Word, He’s made provision for healing through His precious one and only begotten Son, Jesus. It’s who He is. Healing or Healer is His name. So, everything He does is all about healing. He wants to bring healing to every area of our lives,  every situation that we are facing – healing and wholeness not just because that’s what He does but that’s who He is. Isn’t that awesome!

I was looking up the word salvation. The Greek word for the word salvation is sozo. Yet its root meaning goes beyond just the forgiveness of our sins. According to Strong’s Concordance, “sozo” also carries the idea of being physically healed of sickness, disease, and infirmity. So, when we receive Christ as our personal Lord and Savior, we receive His healing. It’s part of the package.

Also, wrapped up in that word is deliverance from the enemy (we know who that is, Satan) and the kingdom of darkness. When we receive salvation, we receive healing and deliverance. Okay? That’s why He said, healing is bread for the children. Just as we were able to believe God for our salvation, we should and can believe Him for our healing.

I want to read something interesting by Joseph Prince. Again, one of God’s names is Jehovah Rapha, the God who heals you.

And He says,

“Do you know that the first compound name that the Lord revealed to the Israelites after they came out of Egypt was Jehovah Rapha, the Lord who heals you? It was as if He was telling them, as they began their new life with Him, that He had already healed them of all the diseases and pains they suffered when they were in bondage in Egypt. Indeed, when He brought them out of Egypt, “there was none feeble among His tribes.” (Psalm 105:37)

The Lord brought His people out of Egypt. He loaded them with silver and gold and not one of the tribes of Israel was sick or diseased or feeble. That was the first name that He shared with them about Who He is and what He wants to provide for them. He said, I want to be your Jehovah Rapha, your Healer.

God is always about healing. It’s something that we just need to expect. We need to believe Him for.

It’s important that we believe that He is our healer and He wants to heal us of any and every kind of sickness, disease, or infirmity that the enemy would try to put on us. I just want to encourage you. Just as the Israelites were delivered from their bondage in Egypt and from slavery to Pharaoh, we also have been delivered from the bondage of sin, sickness, disease, infirmity, poverty, lack, debt, in slavery to the enemy by the blood of Jesus. And the Lord Who is the same yesterday, today and forever, He still says to you, “I am the Lord who heals you.” Isn’t that good!

He wants to heal us in our minds. Isaiah 26:3, “You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You.” He wants us to be healed and whole in our minds, our emotions, in our feelings. He wants to provide healing for the body. Isaiah 53:5 says, “But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripe we are healed.” So, we are healed.

First Peter 2:24 says, “who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.”

He wants healing for our family and for our relationships. Psalms 133 says, “How wonderful and pleasant it is when brethren live and dwell together in harmony and unity.” He wants us to live together in harmony and unity. We may not always agree but he wants us to walk in love.

He wants to provide healing for our finances. He said in 3 John 2, “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in every way and [that your body] may keep well, even as [I know] your soul keeps well and prospers.” That pretty much covers it.

He also wants to heal our nation. This is what we need to continue to believe God, for the healing of our nation and the healing of all of the people of this nation. He said, in 2 Chronicles 7:14, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” So, God’s all about healing.

This morning we’re just going to kind of focus on that aspect of our God, Jehovah Rapha, our Healer. The Lord that heals, delivers, and sets us free.

We know that we have His abiding presence on the inside of us but let’s invite the manifest presence. Let’s invite the Holy Spirit. Let’s come and be present this morning.

Pastor Tim led us singing Holy Spirit You Are Welcome Here

This morning I just want to envision…

God knows right where you live. He knows exactly what you’re going through, your situation is. He wants to be your way maker. Not just a way maker, not just words on a page or a song that we sing but He wants to be your way maker. He wants to make a way for you.

You may be up against something that seems absolutely impossible, but I want you to know this morning that there’s nothing impossible for our God. There is nothing impossible to them that believe. I want to encourage you just to stand on His Word this morning and keep believing He’s a promise keeper, that which He said He will do because cause He’s always faithful to perform His Word.

He will make a way where there seems to be no way. He’s going to bring you through the situation that your facing.

Thank you, Father, that you’re making a way. Thank You that that You’re working behind the scenes on our behalf and You’re going to bring good. Father, I thank you that sickness and disease and infirmity is not from You. You’re our healer. You don’t put sickness and disease and infirmity; You don’t teach people lessons by putting sickness and disease and infirmity on them. That’s not who you Are! That is absolutely contrary to who You are.

You’re Jehovah Rapha, our Healer and You want to bring healing and wholeness to every situation, everything that we’re facing right now. So, we just put our hope and our trust in You, Father. We look to You this morning as our way maker and believe that You’re taking what the enemy meant for evil and You’re turning it for our good. Even when it doesn’t look like it, even when it doesn’t feel like it. Father, we know that You’re still working because that it who You are.

Pastor Tim led us singing Waymaker

Just receive it this morning. Healing is here. Healing is here. And we believe it.

Right there where you’re at, Jesus is here with us in this room. But He’s there with you wherever you are. Sickness, disease, infirmity can’t stay any longer. Your perfect love is casting out fear.

Think about just those two lines. No sickness, no disease, no infirmity, no symptoms, of any kind, no abnormality, no malfunction of any kind, can stay in our bodies. And He said that He has not given us the spirit of fear but of power, love, and a sound mind. So, His perfect love is casting out all fear.

And fear is a big thing right now. So many people are living in and operating in fear. That’s not God’s will for us. He said, have I not commanded you be bold, be brave, be strong, be courageous. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you are and wherever you go, whatever you’re going through. Let not your heart be troubled.

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Phil 4:6–7

He doesn’t want us to be afraid even when things around us are pressing in, things are shaking all around us. He’s not given us the spirit of fear but of power, of love, and a sound mind.

This morning we declare that sickness can’t stay any longer, disease can’t stay any longer, infirmity can’t stay any longer, poverty and lack can’t stay any longer, stress and fear and anxiety can’t stay any longer!  For His perfect love is casting out all fear!

You are the God of all power and it is Your will. Yes, it is Your will that my life be healed and made whole, from the top of my head to the soles of my feet, healed and whole! Delivered and set free, walking in His freedom.

His power, His liberty and His victory—I see a victory!  I see a victory because the battle belongs to You, Lord.

He’s always fighting for us. I’m going to see a victory. I already do with the eyes of my faith, calling those things that are not, as though they were. Because that’s His promise, right?  So, we can declare this morning, “I’m going to see a victory!”

I don’t know how You’re going to do it, Lord. I don’t know what You’re going to do, how You’re going to do it, when You’re going to do it. I know You’re going to do it because You promised to do it!

You just need to declare that this morning over your situation, in your circumstance. Say, “I’m going to see a victory because the battle belongs to You, Lord!” Thank You for that, Lord. We believe that this morning.

Again, I just want to say that God wants us healed and whole in every area of our lives. He has provided that for us. The promise of His Word. He sent His Living Word, who is our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and the Word made flesh took upon Himself every kind of sickness, disease, and infirmity.

I also want You to know that He is a healer of broken hearts. If you’ve got a broken heart this morning, He wants to heal your hurts. He wants to bind up your wounds and He’s promised to do that. He wants to give you peace and He offers you comfort through the person of the Holy Spirit this morning.

That’s who He is, and that’s what He does. So, can you just receive that this morning? I want your heart to be encouraged.

Pastor Tim led us singing I am the God That Health Thee

Ms. Barb…

There’s a level of esteem that we need to have for the Lord. There’s a level of esteem that we need to have for the gift that He sends. When Pastor Tim is singing those songs, I picture Jesus singing to me. I esteem the gift that He’s placed there, and I see Jesus singing.

♪ Here I am. I ‘m here at the piano and I’m singing this to you.
Esteem My word. I’m singing to you.
I’m the Lord your healer. I’m here right now, in this place ♪

When someone stands up here and they give a word, they call something out, they speak something out, that’s Jesus.

It’s as if Jesus was standing here speaking that word to your heart. So, receive as if Jesus was singing to you, Himself, as if He were here in person ministering to you—esteem His Words; value and embrace His presence because He’s here.

He’s here to be your healer, your deliverer. He’s here to fill you up with joy and peace. Oh, He’s here to fill you up today, to pour Himself into you (glory to God) so that you can overcome the circumstance that you’re in, so you can come out of that battle shining with His glory, full of His power, full of His majesty—displaying Him to everyone around you!

We honor You, Lord. We honor Your presence. We magnify You. We lift You up, You are glorious and mighty and powerful! There’s nothing You can‘t do and we receive now. We receive now! We believe, Lord, that You are here in our midst. We are gathered here together and You are here! You are here in our midst. We are connected, Father. We are touching even those online. We are touching, together by the Spirit and You are here in our midst, doing miracles today, right now, is the day of salvation! Thank you, Holy Spirit, for manifesting the redemptive work of Christ in our lives. Right now! Right now!

We repent of not valuing Your presence. We repent of not valuing Your gift, Lord. And we receive, Lord.

We receive right now and draw from the gift that You placed here, right now. We draw (tongues).

Pastor Tim led us singing Healing Is Here

Pastor Tim…

I like what you said, Miss Barb about esteeming the Word, esteeming the presence of God. But esteeming His Word, valuing His Word and choosing to believe the Word of God above our circumstances. Above what we may feel like. Above what the enemy might be trying to tell us.

Let’s esteem the Word of God this morning. Let’s believe what He has said and believe that we receive.

We do, Father. We honor You, we honor Your Word. We choose to believe Your Word. Your Word is true.  It’s true for me. It’s true for us. Thank you, Father. Thank you. We just love You so much this morning. We bless You. We magnify You. We reverence You. We worship You.

Today, Father, we want to be more like You. We want to be Your representatives, Father. We want to express Your heart. We want to bring Your anointing to bear in every situation because we are carriers of Your anointing. We’re carriers of Your presence. So, that’s what we purpose to do.

Thank you for reminding us this morning that You are Jehovah Rapha, our healer and it is Your will that we be healed and be made whole in every area of our life, Father. That’s what we’re looking for. It’s our Heart’s desire.

Father, we purpose, stand on Your Word to believe You, to believe Your Word to receive everything that You have for us. Thank you. Thank You, Lord.

♪ I believe You’re my healer, I believe You are all we need. You’re El Shaddai, Father. The God of More Than Enough. I believe you’re my portion… ♪

He’s all you need. He’s everything that you need. More than you could ask, think, or even imagine! So, be encouraged this morning.

Thank you so much again for being here. Thank you so much for joining us online. God loves you. We love you and appreciate each one of you. We’ll see you tomorrow morning.
