Morning Prayer Summary for Wednesday, April 1, 2020

Pastor Tim…

Good morning, everybody. Thank you for joining us for prayer this morning. Let’s worship by singing about the goodness of God. In every situation, He is a good, good God. We always have reason to commit to praise Him. Oh, this morning we just thank You for the goodness, for Your grace, for Your loving kindness, for Your mercy. You said You have new mercy for each one of us each and every morning. Thank You for new mercy this morning. Thank You for that grace, that supernatural empowerment of Your Holy Spirit, that undeserved, unmerited favor that surrounds us like a shield, it goes before us and makes a way where there seems to be no way. Thank You, Father, that You are a way maker.

Thank You for loving kindness. Thank You for renewed strength. Thank You for peace that passes all understanding, the peace that mounts guard and garrisons over our hearts and minds. Thank You, Father, for Your unconditional love and acceptance. You’re a good, good God. You’re a good, good Father and we’re grateful this morning for all You have done. You’ve blessed us with so many good things. Every good and perfect gift comes from You. Thank You, Lord.

Pastor Ray…

Half way through that when we were singing how good He is, for me I just started going back in my thoughts, in my heart, back to good things that He’s done for me, for us as a family, for this church, through this church here, Living Word Christian Center. It’s just one thing after another, after another, after another, the goodness of God and the mercy of God, protection… awe (deep breath) love you, Lord. Our words, seems like they are so low compared to what You’ve done for us. We just say it the best way we can.

I love where Pastor Tim started to sing “Every day is sweeter and every day is better.” So today, Wednesday, it will be better than yesterday. It will be sweeter than yesterday.

If we’ll just think on these things or declare or say how good You are, Lord… Holy Spirit will remind us of these things. I love it. I was reminded of one thing that He did years ago. It was in our other building in the prayer room. There was just a few of us in there. One was me. One was Sandy and Brian my youngest son. He was maybe fourteen. And then there were a couple other ladies. We were praying in the Holy Ghost and at one point, the Holy Spirit led me to ask Brian to go over and lay hands on this lady and begin to sing in other tongues over her. As he was singing in other tongues and the words that came out were French. You could tell it. I kept thinking “that’s French.” And he kept singing and singing and she started crying and it went on for a while.

So, afterwards, she said that the Holy Spirit spoke to her and reminded her of a time when some things had happened to her. He let her know that He was there in the midst of that. It went on down through her life, her past, and it was a reminder that He was with her all the way through.

At the time, we had recorded it. Back then we had a little hand held recorder in the prayer room. So, we took it and played it for someone who taught French at Maranatha. It was in French and she translated it into English and there were phrases that went right to the heart. It spoke to this person’s life. The Holy Spirit can do whatever He needs to do if we are open and expect it.

If we’re aware and if we really truly believe the ministry of the Holy Spirit, the move or the Holy Spirit, the gifts of the Holy Spirit, we’ll begin to hear things and do things or say things that we don’t even know. We don’t even know what we’re saying maybe is having such an effect but our words have a total effect. They are either positive or they are negative.

Pastor Tim led us singing I Love Your Presence

The following portion of prophecy was given by Lynne Hammond on February 7, 1993:

For I said you’d be changed in My presence, saith the Lord. If you’ve not experienced change in your life, if your old ways are still prevailing, if your old man is still in evidence, you’ve not spent the time with Me that I desire and that will bring change to your life…

Pastor Ray…

Marriages, if they’ve not been changing in the right way, spend more time in My presence. And we know that. If we just as believers look back on our lives, we know there were times that that manifested presence was there and we were changed. Maybe it was in a church service, maybe it was in our home, in our car, wherever, in a place of prayer.

We are changed. We’re changed in the presence. Things change in the presence. The atmosphere totally changes in Your presence. Our hearts are changed, our bodies are changed, situations change, countries, leadership, nations, every people group changed in the presence. Thank You, Lord.

That’s why we keep asking and stirring ourselves up, being hungry for more, that we could receive more of that beautiful presence that changes us. There are shifts in the presence, paradigm shifts, turnarounds, breakthroughs, blessings of God, strength, joy, peace that passes all understanding. We’re lifted. We’re transformed. We are changed so we can bring changed to others. It’s all in Your presence, Lord. We thank You for the presence.

This week I have been going through some different things to bring more light maybe on the blood of Jesus and how powerful that blood is for these days, past days, future days. Everything we need to live a life of victory, it’s been given to us in and though that precious blood.

We read yesterday from Andrew Murray. You cannot ever overuse the blood because everything is in it. If anyone ever says, “You talk too much about the blood,” we can never talk too much about the blood.

Here are five things we have through the blood of Jesus.
1. Redemption Through the Blood of Jesus.
“In Him we have redemption (deliverance and salvation) through His blood, the remission (forgiveness) of our offenses (shortcomings and trespasses), in accordance with the riches and the generosity of His gracious favor,” Ephesians 1:7 (AMPC)
2. Fellowship With God Through the Blood of Jesus
“Having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus.” – Hebrews 10:19 (NKJV)
3. Healing Through the Blood of Jesus
“By His stripes we are healed.” – Isaiah 53:5 (NKIV)
4. Protection Through the Blood of Jesus
“When I see the blood, I will pass over you.” – Exodus 12:13 (KJV)
5. Authority Over the Devil Through the Blood of Jesus
“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony.” – Revelation 19:11 (KJ V)

Pastor Ray…

Thank You, Father. You gave us Your Holy Spirit. You sent Your Son, Jesus, to the Cross and He shed His blood. The blood is working on our behalf these days when we believe it, when we declare it, when we receive it. Thank You that You went all the way through and then on the Cross, Jesus said “It is finished.” It’s finished – hallelujah.

Whatever it is in these days, all of our focus seems to be on a virus, but there are many other things. Like I said yesterday, the virus is just one thing. There are other things happening. Let’s not be surprised by any other work or works the enemy would try to do. That’s why we stay up on that place of watching while we pray.

We pray over our nation, continually lifting up our country before heaven. We pray over our president, plead the blood of Jesus, speak that blood and everything that is in that blood over around him first of all for protection for him and for his family and all those that are around him, all throughout the White House, all positions of authority that we have been commanded to pray over. Thank You for the power that is in that blood – healing, restoration, salvation. Thank You. Thank You. Thank You.

We believe President Trump has the wisdom from heaven. We believe He’s led by Your Spirit and many others that around him, speaking into him, in Jesus’ name we believe for the right words to be spoken to him, that he has ears to hear the things he needs to hear and those things that are irrelevant, he doesn’t even hear.

Thank You for God-given decisions, wisdom from heaven, great understanding for the right decisions even in this day, right now on this Wednesday, right decisions that will have a tremendous effect over our country and it won’t be just fenced in here but it will go out all over the earth. Thank You, Father.

This morning we pray over all of the medical people in every state. We go to those so-called “hot spots.” One, of course, is New York City. We pray over that city. We see that Freedom Tower and declare “Freedom and Victory over New York City!” and demand that virus to move out, to leave in Jesus’ name. We declare a “quick turnaround in Jesus’ name” in New York City, Washington state, California, Chicago.

We pray over major cities, Minneapolis where we are here and St. Paul. We cover all of these places in the blood of Jesus and pray over the positions of authority, all of the governors all over the United States of America for wisdom, right decisions to be made.

We take the authority over fear of any kind in Jesus’ name, fear which sometimes comes out as “What if? What if? What if? Most of the time those “What if’s” never come to pass. So, we don’t take fear but we stand on what we know is true and that’s Your Word, Father. And that’s why we’re hungry for more of Your presence and reminding ourselves of Your goodness, Your mercies which are new every day. Oh, thank You. Thank You. Thank You for it, Father.

It’s just so good to remind ourselves of the power that is in that precious blood, to absolutely by faith to expect that the blood is working today. That’s one reason we can go back and see the victories that have come for each one of us, the protection, maybe things that could have happened didn’t happen. We are surrounded and protected by the blood.

There is also the secret place, Psalm 91, the protection that comes by praying and believing what it says is true. Pretty much every day we have been praying Psalm 91 in different translations. Today we will read from the NIV.

Scripture focus…

(1) Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
(2) I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.”
(3) Surely he will save you
from the fowler’s snare
and from the deadly pestilence.
(4) He will cover you with his feathers,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
(5) You will not fear the terror of night,
nor the arrow that flies by day,
(6) nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness,
nor the plague that destroys at midday.
(7) A thousand may fall at your side,
ten thousand at your right hand,
but it will not come near you.
(8) You will only observe with your eyes
and see the punishment of the wicked.
(9) If you say, “The Lord is my refuge,”
and you make the Most High your dwelling,
(10) no harm will overtake you,
no disaster will come near your tent.
(11) For he will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways;
(12) they will lift you up in their hands,
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
(13) You will tread on the lion and the cobra;
you will trample the great lion and the serpent.
(14) “Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him;
I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name…

Pastor Tim led us singing We Love You Lord!

Pastor Ray…

We humble ourselves before You. If we’ve not put all of our trust in You, we repent. We put our trust, all of our hope, all of our future, all of the plans that we might walk through, all of the days that are ahead of us, we put it all of our trust before You. We humble ourselves today, covered in that blood, walking in Your way, walking in Your plans. Oh, Father, we trust in You.

We lean not unto our own understanding. All of our steps, all of our plans, all of our thought, all of our ways, we acknowledge You. We put our hope in You, put all of our trust in You. You will lead us. You will guide us every step of the way.

You are with us. You are leading us. We will watch when we pray. We will listen to what You say. Oh, my, my, my… better every day. I just can’t get away from that. It’s a declaration of faith when we say “Things are getting better every day.” It’s a declaration of faith believing. And so we must believe it so we say it and then every day it will be better. Hallelujah.

We will finish the last part of Psalm 91.

(14) “Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him;
I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.
(15) He will call on me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble,
I will deliver him and honor him.
16 With long life I will satisfy him
and show him my salvation.” Psalm 91 (NIV)

Pastor Ray…

Saved, saved every day, saved in every way because You are so good Lord. Thank You for Your promises. Thank You for every day, it’s a new day! Your mercies are new. Thank You for the grace from heaven. Thank You for the faith that You put in each one of us. By faith we continually walk in victory.

There is victory today, victory tomorrow. I know the Word makes it clear that we don’t take cares of any kind. So, we don’t take a care somehow about how tomorrow will be. We watch over today and we declare every day is a better day. If yesterday there was some situations that were not better, we’re over into a new day. We’ve moved on from that and the blood of the Lamb covers our steps today in this day we are walking through. Thank You, Father. Thank You, Lord.

I think it would be good if we sang “Way Maker” and just begin to see the situations that are going on today, the things personally maybe in our families, maybe in our churches, wherever, all over the earth our Way Maker is making a way in these days.

Pastor Tim led us singing Way Maker

Pastor Ray…

Jesus is Lord! Jesus is Lord! The Church is rising up! The Church is awake! If it’s not, “Wake Up!” The Church is rising up, stepping up! Every day is what? Better! Better and sweeter!

Thank you for those that are tuning in online. Thank you for doing that. We appreciate it. It’s the only way right now in these days that we can be corporate. It’s pretty quiet in the chapel but Holy Spirit is here operating, moving, changing. But I want to make you aware that tomorrow we will be taking communion. If you are tuning in, get some bread and get some juice and we will go over again all the things that He did, is doing, and will do for us.

Why would He do that? Because He loved us first so much that He sent His only Son for us. Thank You, Lord.

Pastor Tim led us singing Every Day Gets Sweeter, Every Day Gets Better

Pastor Ray…

We don’t line up with all of the naysayers and with those that are speaking forth lies, inaccuracies, deceiving – no. We declare what the Word declares to us, for us.

Every day is sweeter, every day that we rest in the Lord and trust and hope. Every day then we can say “It’s just going to get better and better because we’re coming through and we’re moving up and we’re moving into God’s new plans and days.” We thank You for it, declare it, believe it. Thank You for this day in Jesus’ name. Amen.
