Morning Prayer Summary for Tuesday, September 3, 2019

Ms. Annie led us singing Holy and Anointed One

Pastor Ray…

First of all, we are never, ever, ever wasting time when we are worshiping Him.

Sometimes we take a little more time just to do that, lift Him up. It’s part of our connection and that’s the key to be connected to heaven.

Scripture focus…

I want to read 2 Corinthians 9:6–11 in the Message translation. The basic premise of these verses is giving of our finances. But I saw it in a different light this morning.

(6–7) Remember: A stingy planter gets a stingy crop; a lavish planter gets a lavish crop. I want each of you to take plenty of time to think it over, and make up your own mind what you will give. That will protect you against sob stories and arm-twisting. God loves it when the giver delights in the giving.

I saw this as giving of our supplies, not just finances but our prayer supply. When we give, we’re giving out for others. We will do anything that we have to do for others, sowing toward them, giving toward them.

(8–11) God can pour on the blessings in astonishing ways so that you’re ready for anything and everything, more than just ready to do what needs to be done. As one psalmist puts it,

He throws caution to the winds, giving to the needy in reckless abandon. His right-living, right-giving ways never run out, never wear out.

This most generous God who gives seed to the farmer that becomes bread for your meals is more than extravagant with you. He gives you something you can then give away, which grows into full-formed lives, robust in God, wealthy in every way, so that you can be generous in every way, producing with us great praise to God. 2 Corinthians 9:6–11 (MSG)

Pastor Ray…

Today, I want us to see that there is more to giving. We see it in the example of farming. I was raised on a farm. I remember there were changes in farming even back then. Some farmers kept gaining more property so that they could plant more seed. That way they would have a much greater harvest. But that wasn’t happening with my father. He inherited the farm from his father and I think it went back beyond that. For one reason or another, he couldn’t make it well enough to get a hold of more properties so our crops could be more lavish. Basically, we lost that farm.

Using that as an example, it’s like a cycle. We have needs. Then we have a fulfillment of the needs, whatever they are. And then there is abundance. That’s God’s plan. That’s His cycle. We have needs so we can give out supplies to others.

We can just look back to all the years and years of us doing this, day after day. And it’s so much not all about us. It’s so much about others. So, we come to intercede and bring our supplies for others. When we’re praying in other tongues, we’re taking care of things, things that we didn’t even know about. But we have to be faithful, generous in giving our supply and then God will see to it, in abundance, for those we are praying for.

But you know it comes right back onto us. That’s part of the cycle. What we sow, we’re going to receive. In the supernatural realm of God, there are no limits. We know that every gift that He gives—they are good gifts. But His concern for His people is all encompassing. He’s always, always working on helping us.

I wrote down this morning: “We determine the size and the nature of our harvest by the size and the type of seed that we plant and by the attitude in planting or giving it.” We determine these things, and of course, we are very familiar with this when it comes to finances. Pastor Mac has said many times, “It’s about our attitude.”

And so this morning, I thought we would do this a little differently. I know that each one of us could think of several different things in the earth right now that we could bring our supplies and pray over. I remember when Patsy Cameneti was here years ago she said, “Above this chapel there is like a tower that goes up and there is a spiritual supply that goes out all over the earth that meets the needs of others.”

But do we receive when we give? Yes. We do. I always look at it like that. If we have someone we know about and they need healing, we just go for it. Do you know that by sowing that seed of the Word of God toward others, those are coming back on us.

We’re in a healthy place; we’re in a prosperous place when we’re sending out supplies toward others. When we pray for families, other people in the body of Christ, those blessings, those things come back upon our families and upon us. What a plan. It’s a good plan. It’s a God plan.

First of all, we know we are to pray for those that are in positions of authority. We have God’s Word on it and we do pray and we have the confessions we go over. But this morning when we pray for those in positions of authority, I want us to just pray in other tongues. We will pray in tongues over our country, the President and all the decisions that need to be made today. But we’re not going to put our own interpretation on what we think is so critical or so important. Today, we’re going to pray in other tongues over our nation. Hallelujah. (tongues)

Now, let’s go over to Great Brittan, England. Let’s pray over that whole situation in Jesus’ name. Let’s take our supply; send it toward the new leader, toward what needs to take place in England. (tongues) Open the right way, wisdom, revelation, insight. Thank You, Father.

Now let’s go to Israel. Visualize the land of Israel, the borders of Israel, the city of Jerusalem and how the Word says “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem.” So, we are covering all the borders around the nation of Israel, all the land of Israel, the city of Jerusalem. (tongues) Thank You, Father.

I want us to get our next direction in what we should pray over in tongues. Ms. Annie, would you begin to sing it out in other tongues.

Ms. Annie led us singing in tongues

♪ We see a blood washed America, blood washed America

From the north, from the south, to the east to the west washed in His precious blood

A blood washed America; nothing can stand against His blood

Oh, it flows to the lowest valleys, reaches to the highest mountain

From the hills to the sea, oh, it washes, washes, washes for America

For there is nothing that can stand against the blood of the precious Lamb

The Lamb of God who died for us, His blood is flowing in America

His grace abounds, His grace abounds even more

His grace is flowing by His blood from shore to shore

There’s a call going out now, a call is going forth

America, you are destined to serve the lord

America, rise up and serve your Lord ♪

Pastor Ray…

When Ms. Annie started to sing, I heard “signs, wonders.” I saw this as not just for America. I saw into a room in a hospital on the hospice floor. There was a family,  loved ones gathered around a bed. In hospice most people never come out alive. But in this case, a minister came in that was born again, Spirit filled and began to pray. The family didn’t necessarily know about it all; some were not even saved. But they were desperate for their loved one. So they welcomed in the minister of God and he began to pray in the Spirit. He began to lift up just like we’re doing (singing in tongues).

And they began to see in the room a change and the minister anointed that person in the bed with oil. He began to declare “By the stripes of Jesus’ you were healed.” And that person in the bed began to respond to the precious Word of God and a sign and a wonder began to take place. And that family began to see the Word of God working before their eyes. Oooooooooh! (tongues)

And as the change began to take place, a change took place in the hearts of the family and they began to believe and they began to receive. The minister prayed with each one of them; prayed with them together to receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior! And then he began to sing in other tongues again.

Ms. Annie continued singing in other tongues

Pastor Ray…

And the family began to sing out of their hearts a new song—sounds they have never sung before. The room filled with the Holy Spirit’s power and a sign and a wonderful thing began to take place. The thing that was impossible began to turn and turn into not just maybe, not just possibly, but the person lying in the bed began to rise up and the whole room rejoiced in God! They were all changed and went to another degree of glory in Him!

This morning we sowed seeds, our prayers outward to this hospital room, into this patient, over this minister, over this family and their hearts, their desire, their anticipation. And this patient began to receive and that family began to receive. So, we’ll say it like this, we sowed these seeds this morning. We will believe to receive them back unto us. Maybe it’s somebody we know about. Maybe it’s a family member that we know is going through something, the plan or the purpose of the enemy—but they are going through in a victorious way! Could be your family member; it could be you!

A turnaround, a change, a sign, and a wonder! Ha! Ha! Ha! Hallelujah! Ooooooooohhh! We receive! We receive.

Signs, wonderful things, wonders, make people wonder about what happened, what took place, different breakthroughs, new steps, new forms or kinds of prosperity according to what the Word has said “Give and it shall be given back unto you, pressed down, shaken together!”

So the cycle is working and the needs are being met and the power from heaven through the blood of the Lamb… could be our nation, Great Britain, Israel, many other nations, families, loved ones, people we know and people we don’t know. (tongues)

Thank You for it, Father. Thank You for it, Lord.

Ms. Annie led us singing Thank You for the Blood

Pastor Ray…

It’s through the blood that we have overcome. So, we thank you for the blood of Jesus Christ. There is power in the blood. We magnify the blood. We are washed in Your blood. We’re redeemed by Your blood, Lord Jesus Christ.

Thank You, Father, the blood is over all of us, over all of our steps. The things today that You have called us to, we believe to be exactly where we need to be, on time, at the right time. We believe that Your Word is working in us and its working through us. We believe that Your supernatural power, the presence, the anointing is going out of us and reaching others that need to receive it today. One way or another, if it’s just our presence and Your presence in us or words that we might speak or places that we would go. We thank You for it, Lord.

Thank You that we are protected by the blood. No accidents of any kind can come against us. No works of the enemy. The enemy is defeated and we have overcome through that precious holy blood of Jesus. Thank You for it in the name of Jesus.
