Morning Prayer Summary for Tuesday, September 17, 2019

Ms. Annie led us singing Because of the Blood

Pastor Ray…

Thank You, Lord. Hallelujah. Thank You, Father.

I was thinking about how there are millions and millions of dollars that are spent in just this country for people to be more healthy, work out, exercise, and then also diet. But there is not a lot said about the human spirit and how we build that up.

We cannot understand spiritual ways with our natural minds. You can think about prayer and how we have to get over in the spirit so we are not praying out of what we know in our heads but praying from our hearts. And we know it is the heartfelt prayer of a righteous man or woman that makes tremendous power available.

(13) And we are setting these truths forth in words not taught by human wisdom but taught by the [Holy] Spirit, combining and interpreting spiritual truths with spiritual language [to those who possess the Holy Spirit].

(14) But the natural, nonspiritual man does not accept or welcome or admit into his heart the gifts and teachings and revelations of the Spirit of God, for they are folly (meaningless nonsense) to him; and he is incapable of knowing them [of progressively recognizing, understanding, and becoming better acquainted with them] because they are spiritually discerned and estimated and appreciated. I Corinthians 2:13–14 (AMPC)

We cannot be just in our minds trying to figure out what’s happening. But our minds, of course, are renewed by His presence, His power, His Word.

I was reading something yesterday from Brother Hagin. He said people might say “50 souls were saved yesterday.” Well, really their souls weren’t saved. Their spirits were. He talked about understanding spiritual things with our spirit and how we build up our spirit man just in training.

We have a new Yorkie dog named Louie. We are the parents in the room but he thinks he is and he thinks he can train us. It’s a continual little battle that we have mainly over food. We have a little pad around the corner and he is trained really well to use the pad. Every time we know that he has gone there, he gets a treat. He just loves it.

Yesterday evening we were both sitting in the living room. Sandy has a chair large enough that he can just jump in her lap and cuddle in. He came up to the chair and started whining. He always wants to sit in her lap but he didn’t want to come up. He just kept whining and he’d look at me and then look at her. We were like “What?” And then all of a sudden it dawned on us that he had gone on the pad and now he wasn’t going anywhere until he got his treat.

It’s a training deal. We’re trying to train the dog and the dog is trying to train us. But training our spirit is so critical because it’s where we hear Him, get direction from Him.

I am just reminded of something. Yesterday, we had a staff meeting where we were speaking of entering into a place of expectation, crossing the line into “more than enough.” And, you know, if you have seen the numbers on our financial statement, they are adding up over the top.

But just inside, I was thinking about that and this is what I heard yesterday: “Because as an individual or as a family or as a church family, you made a decision in your heart of hearts to enter over into the land of more than enough, financially you shall continually receive increase because of your expectation that you’ve actually entered over into a land of increase. But that increase has allowed Me (speaking by the Holy Spirit) has allowed Me to bring more manifested presence to you because that is the doorway you’ve opened up for more of Me. So, over in the land of more than enough, there is more than enough finances, there is more than enough healing, there is more than enough revelation, there is more than enough wisdom, there’s more than enough peace. There’s more than enough grace to move out into new day, new ways, and new times always in the land of more than enough.” Hallelujah.

The following quote is from Practicing His Presence by Brother Lawrence and Frank Laubach:

The greater the perfection that you aspire to, the more dependent you must become upon His divine grace.”

Pastor Ray…

Right now, Let’s purpose in our heats… We know how we can stir ourselves up praying in the Holy Spirit, praying in other tongues and we know how our minds or our souls are changed when we fill ourselves up with Your precious Word. We can have our minds renewed day by day in the same way that we can have our spirits tuned up and tuned in to heaven’s ways. Thank You, Father.

So, we make decisions this morning. It’s just a matter of taking our place and it’s all about not just our own race or races, the things God has planned for you and has planned for me and has planned for our families, churches, the body of Christ. It’s not just all about that. It’s all about Your presence, Lord. We’re hungry. We believe absolutely this morning it’s Your presence.

I can sense it while speaking about entering over into the new, the land of more than enough. It is all encompassing our spirit, soul, and body – every part of ourselves, increasing. Our minds being more and more and more renewed and changed, our spirits being lifted up, our bodies continually made whole, health, prosperity in every one of these three areas. Thank You, Lord. Thank You, Father.

I know it’s His plan, His will, His presence. But when I say we’re welcoming it, we are opening up our hearts for what already has been given, already is available. So, when we sang about the blood, we were preparing, covering, putting a watch around ourselves that we might enter and receive or expect to receive what has been sent or given or provided for each one of us. Thank You.

Ms. Annie led us singing We Wait for You (Shekinah Glory)

Pastor Ray…

Thank You, Lord. We are changed by Your presence. One touch of Your presence changes everything, changes our direction, our steps. We remind ourselves, every single one of us, what You have done, how You have by Your Spirit changed us, turned us, stopped us, directed us by Your presence.

Scripture focus…

(11) For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome.

(12) Then you will call upon Me, and you will come and pray to Me, and I will hear and heed you.

(13) Then you will seek Me, inquire for, and require Me [as a vital necessity] and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:11–13 (AMPC)

The heartfelt prayer brings great change in the earth, changes, a change in the very atmosphere. Hallelujah. Thank You for Your presence Lord.

Ms. Sue…

What you are saying about crossing over the line, the Lord has showed me for you, that not only did you cross over into your next assignment, you crossed over into another dimension. Your eyes will see more in the spirit than they have ever seen before. You will see more in the natural and understanding will be great. You will see the things in the spirit that you’ve desired to see. He is pleased with you. You have been faithful and you have just stepped into what God has called you to do in the ministry.

Pastor Ray…

Let’s all move together. We’re all moving. We’re all changing. We’re all stepping into the new things that He has prepared for me and you all. That was blessed. Thank you.

I feel like it’s necessary to go down through this confession over our country. There are so many lies, inaccuracies, untruths everyday trying to take our country in the wrong way. But we are not going that way. We are going in God’s way! That’s why we pray for our leaders so that it goes well with us. We are blessed.

The following is a prayer for our nation by Pastor Lynne Hammond:

Father, in the name of Jesus, and according to your Word, we pray for those in authority in our nation. We lift up President Donald Trump, his family, his staff and cabinet members. Let Your Word cling to them and let them not depart from your plan. Strengthen them with mighty power by your Spirit to stand against wickedness, lies and deception. Guide President Trump’s decisions; let Your light shine upon his path and show him the path of reversal for every evil way. Continually surround him with godly men and women who impart wise counsel to him. Cause the way of the wicked to be set to confusion and come to nothing. Deliver us from the traps and snares the enemy has laid for us, and let the wicked be caught in their own devises and be brought to shame.

We take authority over the plots and plans of the enemy against this nation. Let prideful and lying lips be silenced in Jesus’ name. Slanderers will not be established in America. We pray for our Congress, our Supreme Court, our Military leaders and our intelligence agencies. Let the wisdom that is from above reign in this nation and be constantly speaking to our leaders. We exercise the authority you have given us to tread down all the power of the enemy. We cast down and demolish imaginations and arguments that exalt themselves against the knowledge of God, and we bring into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. We bind spirits of strife and division, civil wars and tumults, spirits of hostility, lawlessness and blasphemy, and fires from hell that have burned in our cities.

We speak grace and peace over America. We pray and believe for the voice of truth, salvation, revival and restoration to be proclaimed and heard across our land. Grant unto your servants everywhere that with all boldness we may speak your Word. We pray for a mighty outpouring of your Spirit with signs, wonders and miracles. We expect the wisdom of this world that is earthly, sensual and devilish to depart and vanish until Your, mighty work in America becomes a beacon of hope for all people everywhere. We expect the voice of rejoicing to be heard in our nation for your goodness, mercy and prosperity, in Jesus’ name, Amen.

We are all moving out, moving ahead, we have the strength of the Holy Spirit in us, working on us and in us and through us to bring change wherever we go. We’re changing so we can bring change, restoration, and help – His presence to others. Thank you for coming this morning. You are blessed.
