Morning Prayer Summary for Tuesday, May 7, 2019

Ms. Annie led us singing the Matthew 5 Beatitudes

Pastor Ray…

Yesterday I went through these three points from Oral Roberts when he was speaking to Kenneth Copeland years ago. If you remember Kenneth Copeland was a pilot for ORU and also a driver. Oral said “People will always tell you what you can’t do.”

I want to add something to that. The Devil will always tell you “You can’t do that.” Even though you have God’s Word, you know what the Word says, he continually tries to tell you “You can’t do that.”

  1. Pray and hear from God. That’s a big one. What’s the reverse of that? Get a plan out of your brain and then ask God if He’ll help you fulfill it (ha, ha, ha). Whoops!  So, first pray and hear from God. Praying opens up our spiritual ears to hear what He’s saying because He is always speaking to us.
  2. Once you have heard from heaven, confer no more with flesh and blood. And we could use the same thing; confer no more with the Devil. Stop listening to what he’s saying and listen to what God said.
  3. Get your assignment done at all costs. Whatever we have to do, however we have to do it.

I just saw one of Pastor Mac’s Winner’s Minute. He was talking about doing what the Lord has told you to do, what He’s put on your heart to do. And it may be a big thing. Maybe you can’t do it all at one time, but you can make progress toward the final plan that He has called you to carry out.

His point was, if you are making progress, it helps you to keep on track working toward the goal He has called you to fulfill instead of just saying “I can’t do all of that.” Okay, that can be depressing. You say, “Well I don’t know how I can do that.” But we take steps, and of course, He is with us. He is helping us all of the time.

I put a sticker in my Bible a long time ago with the word “routine” written on it. Have you ever thought, “I get up every day and do the same thing”? You get the coffee… You just get into a routine. But spiritually speaking, we can take a revelation that God speaks to us and start doing it. But we can keep doing the revelation until sometimes it just becomes a religious ritual. He is the same of course but He’s speaking to us in a new way every day. He is new. And if we are always doing our routine, we can get into a religious rut.

Scripture focus…

(8) Jesus Christ (the Messiah) is [always] the same, yesterday, today, [yes] and forever (to the ages).

(9) Do not be carried about by different and varied and alien teachings; for it is good for the heart to be established and ennobled and strengthened by means of grace (God’s favor and spiritual blessing) and not [to be devoted to] foods [rules of diet and ritualistic meals], which bring no [spiritual] benefit or profit to those who observe them.

(15) Through Him, therefore, let us constantly and at all times offer up to God a sacrifice of praise, which is the fruit of lips that thankfully acknowledge and confess and glorify His name.

(16) Do not forget or neglect to do kindness and good, to be generous and distribute and contribute to the needy [of the church as embodiment and proof of fellowship], for such sacrifices are pleasing to God. Hebrews 13:8–9, 15–16 (AMPC)

Pastor Ray…

Just going on down to verse 20 and 21, I want to continue to read out of the Amplified and then a couple different translations.

(20) Now may the God of peace [Who is the Author and the Giver of peace], Who brought again from among the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, by the blood [that sealed, ratified] the everlasting agreement (covenant, testament),

(21) Strengthen (complete, perfect) and make you what you ought to be and equip you with everything good that you may carry out His will; [while He Himself] works in you and accomplishes that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ (the Messiah); to Whom be the glory forever and ever (to the ages of the ages). Amen (so be it). Hebrews 13:20–21 (AMPC)

(18–21) …May God, who puts all things together, makes all things whole, Who made a lasting mark through the sacrifice of Jesus, the sacrifice of blood that sealed the eternal covenant, Who led Jesus, our Great Shepherd, up and alive from the dead, Now put you together, provide you with everything you need to please him, Make us into what gives him most pleasure, by means of the sacrifice of Jesus, the Messiah. All glory to Jesus forever and always! Oh, yes, yes, yes Hebrews 13:18–21 (MSG)

(20) Now may the God who brought us peace by raising from the dead our Lord Jesus Christ so that he would be the Great Shepherd of his flock; and by the power of the blood of the eternal covenant (21) may he work perfection into every part of you giving you all that you need to fulfill your destiny. And may he express through you all that is excellent and pleasing to him through your life-union with Jesus the Anointed One who is to receive all glory forever! Amen! Hebrews 13:20–21 (TPT)

Pastor Ray…

This prayer is a prayer for us, the members of His body, and the first thing is “strengthen.” Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Not our strength but His strength. And then complete, or perfect, and make you what you ought to be. We can’t make us into what we ought to be, but we can open up our hearts to Him who is making us who we out to be.

So, all this is lining us up. So when we do pray prayers of strength and prayers of direction and prayers to stop the enemy and prayer over our nation—all kinds of prayer… This prayer from the book of Hebrews is a prayer prayed for us here today, that we are strengthened, we are complete, we are perfect, and that we’d be made what we ought to be and equipped with everything, everything, everything good that we might carry out His will while He, Himself works in us and accomplishes that which is pleasing in His sight to Jesus Christ the Messiah. It’s what we want. It’s what we need. It’s what we have to have. Thank You, Father.

While Ms. Annie is playing, we will wait just a little bit, just listen to the notes, hear the sound, see ourselves changing, see ourselves being strengthened, see ourselves be more perfected to the will of God almighty so when we begin to declare prayers, lifting our voices up to heaven, that these prayers would be perfect and according to the will of God. That’s what we want. We need His will. We’d be equipped.

Thank You, Father, that You are equipping us, You are making us whole, You’re making us complete and perfect, equipping us with everything we need, every tool, every adjustment, every change, every step, every new thing, every new door, assisting us, right by us, right in us, actually working through us.

Holy Spirit, we yield ourselves to more of You. We know You poured out unto us, we know we’ve been filled with You. But You said, Father, in Your Word that we should “be being filled.” That must mean in the world we are living in that some of the filling seeps out in some way. Maybe we begin to adjust ourselves from our hearts more into our minds, thinking this way or that way. What did that person say to me? What kind of a look did they give me? That we’d be not so moved by what we see in the natural. We get it, Lord. We know we can’t fulfill Your perfect will if we’re not operating by Your Spirit, praying by Your Spirit, walking in Your Spirit, being saturated or infused more and more and more.

This morning, let’s open our hearts and step through the door that says “More!” More of the supernatural perfection of the Holy Spirit for us! Open up our hearts to be strengthened supernaturally, thank You for it. Thank You, Lord.

Lot of different situations we watch over. We take our place in heavenly places. We take that seat in heaven above and believe and be able to assist and be able to bring these things, strength, equipping to others we meet. Showing us, I know You’re showing us, I know You’re showing us right now.

All of those plans, Lord. All of those names, Father. Sustain us, You are. Strengthen us, You are. Heal us, You have. Anoint us, You have. Names, we pray over those, pray the prayers that are prayers for today. Thank You, Father, for what You did for us yesterday and our yesterdays. And thank You for what will come to pass in our futures. But today, Lord, thank You, You are leading us. You are directing us. You have anointed us. You’ve equipped us. We are above and not beneath. We are the head and not the tail. We have ears to hear. We have soft hearts. We’re pliable. We are open more to Your move than we’ve ever been before. We open all of ourselves to heaven today.

I just have this about names, names, names today that are critical to be lifted up. Maybe just in your own heart, let the Holy Spirit give you somebody or some names. Maybe there are 50 of us in here. We can lift up a lot of names in our hearts. We could speak them out. Names from heaven, critical changes that need to come today, critical changes that need to take place today (tongues).

I do lift them up, Lord. I see that name. I see it and declare it. Applying the blood, we put the blood there. Change, change, change, change, change, we believe they’ll move into what we are speaking about today, move into strength, move into the equipping from heaven, be set free from the old days and the old ways. That one and that one and that one, Lord. We lift them up.

Families, whole families… Lift up some families. Eyes, that they have eyes to see, Lord. Families, families, families, help, assistance from heaven, bringing them up, making a way even where there was no way. Lord, we know that You are the Way Maker! You’ve made a way.

Clearing out the pathway. We clear out those steps today for these families. We lift all of these up, bring them up, bring them through, bring them out of the old and into the new opportunities, changes, wonderful changes, miracles.

Ms. Annie led us singing in other tongues…

Pastor Ray…

This is a family, Living Word Christian Center. It’s a family. We lift up this family, this company, part of the body, every member, every family member in Jesus’ name. Those that call this their home, this is their family. Aid, help, assistance, directly from heaven! Heaven’s help, heaven’s change. We declare a stoppage, a stop in those things that have tried to work against these families in Jesus’ name. We hold the blood of Jesus there this morning, over every single one of them, call for the presence of God, call for the anointing of the Holy Spirit, call for the supernatural signs and wonders, help, and by the blood we command every touch of the enemy to desist and stop, turn and get out now in Jesus’ name. Thank You, Father.

Now let’s lift up the United States. First, we lift up the first family. We lift up President Trump, his family. We plead the blood of Jesus over our first family in Jesus’ name, be strengthened, be complete, be made perfect, be equipped to be everything good that you, the first family, may carry out the will and the purpose and the plan of God almighty.

For the Word has not changed. The Word is still the same and it’s working on their behalf this morning. We cover every aspect, every plan, every purpose, all of Your will for that family in Jesus’ name. We protect them by the blood, the blood of Jesus all around each and every one of them. We see it. Be filled! Be filled! Be filled! Be filled! Be filled! Be filled! Oooohh! Ha, ha, ha, and the anointing that’s within, come out! And the equipment show you who you are and what you have been set in this place to do.

Thank You, Father, for wisdom, understanding, revelation, right words, right plans, right ideas, wisdom from heaven. Presence of God in that place, the presence of God, the presence of God in the oval Office, the meeting rooms, all throughout the White House, in the living quarters the manifest presence of God. Holy Spirit, Holy Spirit…

Ms. Annie welcomes the Holy Spirit into the White House…

Pastor Ray…

We lifted up names. We lifted up families. We lifted up the White House, our President and his family. But I want us to now lift up every state as we read through state by state by state.

I like reading it in an alphabetical order because it’s not just over here in the east coast and then we’ll go over there. It reminded me of when the parties have their conventions just to see who they are going to nominate to run for President. They call out a state “so and so and such and such state is…” I saw it like state by state we declare that Jesus is Lord over every state! So when those states were being read, we are voting for Jesus! We are voting for the plan and the purpose of God almighty. That is an awakening.
