Morning Prayer Summary for Tuesday, May 28, 2019

The following excerpt was taken from I Believe With All My Heart by Vicki Jamison:

Dwight L. Moody once said, “Faith that fizzles in the finish had a flaw in the beginning.” To be an effective Christian in today’s world; we need a positive, working faith, one that won’t let us down when we need it most. One that won’t “fizzle in the finish.”

What kind of faith is this right kind of faith? Where do we get it?

In Hebrews 11: 1 we read perhaps the best known and best loved scripture in the Bible concerning faith: “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” This same verse in the Amplified Bible reads: ” faith is the assurance, the confirmation, the title deed of things we hope for, being the proof of things we do not see in the conviction of their reality, (faith) perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses.”

Just as a little side note, I always read this scripture like it was talking about something else. I would read like “and so now…” But I didn’t see it like “right now.”

Just what are these senses that things can be revealed to? For one thing, you had to use your senses to begin your day today. With your sense of hearing, you heard your alarm go off. Before you even got out of bed, you had to use your eyes. You had to look around your room, see its familiar surroundings and convince yourself that you were awake. You had to use your sense of touch to get dressed. When you went into the kitchen to get your cup of coffee and get the day started, with your sense of smell you savored the aroma of that coffee, and with your sense of taste you drank it and enjoyed it.

God has given us our five senses to operate in this world. We have to have them in order to drive cars. Without our senses, we could not drive one block without having a wreck. You can’t say, “I’m going to drive my car by faith,” then shut your eyes, put your car in gear and take off. You have to use the five senses that God has given you.

Faith has nothing to do with these five senses. It does not depend on what we hear, see, touch, taste or smell. It operates in a different realm altogether. Faith is the evidence of things we do not see, the “conviction of their reality, (faith) perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses.”

How do we get this faith? In the first place we already have the measure of faith, for the Bible says,”…God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith” (Rom. 12:3). We have to have that measure of faith to be saved. “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast” (Eph. 2:8-9). But we are responsible for developing that faith. We begin to grow in the Lord from that moment on. ‘But without faith it is impossible to please God” (Heb. 11:6).

There is only one way to develop our faith, and that is through the Word of God. “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” (Rom. 10:17). You can pray all day for faith, you can cry, you can beg and you can plead; but you’ll never get faith that way. You can try to use the power of positive thinking, and you may have some results. But unless your faith is in God and in His Word, you are going to run into obstacles.

Nor can your faith be in what I believe or in what someone else believes. Faith is “the assurance, the confirmation, the title deed of things we hope for, being the proof of things we do not see and the conviction of their reality.” Faith, then, is the conviction of something real.

Pastor Ray…

It’s something real, when? Now. That’s the whole key. Now faith is.

Ms. Annie…

I spent some years in the kinder church with the four- and five-year-olds. You learn some songs, but do you know what? I sing those songs to myself. And a lot of the time, I will sing those songs to myself because the Kingdom of God is received like little children.

If you read your Bible and pray every day, pray every day, pray every day

If you read your Bible and pray every day then you’ll grow, grow, grow

Then you’ll grow, grow, grow!
Then you’ll grow, grow, grow!

If you read your Bible and pray every day then you’ll grow, grow, grow

But if you don’t read your Bible and pray every day, pray every day, pray every day

But if you don’t read your Bible and pray every day, then you’ll shrink, shrink, shrink

Then you’ll shrink, shrink, shrink!

Then you’ll shrink, shrink, shrink!

But if you don’t read your Bible and pray every day, then you’ll shrink, shrink, shrink

So how does that come to my remembrance? When I came in this morning, guess what I was singing to myself (ha, ha, ha).

Caleb had the faith of God, of course. But I was reading about Caleb and Joshua this morning and how Caleb said “I am now 85 years old and my natural force is not diminished. I am just as strong now as the day 40 years ago when we came into the land. I am just as strong both for war and to go out and to come in.”

As my years are advancing, today I was like “I got the strength to go out, I got the strength to come in.” But faith is not a feeling as you just read. And some days I remind myself of that because some days you don’t feel like you have any faith. You look at how you feel and think “I don’t know, I just don’t have any faith.”

But you do have faith. So I say to myself “I have faith in my faith!” My faith is not a feeling. I don’t have faith in my feelings. I have faith in my faith because the Word of God is how faith comes.

Ms. Jeani…

What I love about that is when you don’t go by your feelings but you go by faith, your faith affects your feelings and your feelings end up getting in line anyway. So, we don’t have to gut it out ever.

Pastor Ray…

Your feelings actually follow your faith and your feelings are changed. That’s like a paradigm shift, a turnaround.

Ms. Jeani…

Meaning, it’s that easy. So, our feelings will tell us it’s a huge uphill battle. But we believe God. We just rest on Jesus’ faith. He lives in us. It’s His faith and then our feelings get in line and you’re happy.

Ms. Annie…

Faith is a spiritual force coming out of our recreated human spirit and impacting our feelings which are lower than spirit. Emotions and feelings are below spirit. We are a spirit and we live in a body and we have feelings. But our feelings come in subjection to the force of faith which comes out of our recreated spirit when we put the Word of God in there and we grow, grow, grow!

Pastor Ray…

If you’re happy and you know it, clap your hands! (clap, clap)

Ms. Annie…

If you’re happy and you know it clap your hands! (clap, clap)

If you’re happy and you know it, then your face will surely show it!

If you’re happy and you know it clap your hands! (clap, clap)

Pastor Ray…

Thanks for coming to Children’s Church this morning (ha, ha, ha).

Ms. Annie…

Oh, when I was in Children’s Church, I tell you. I had this little cart with a tiny keyboard and a little speaker. And they asked me “Can you take this cart and go from room to room to room?” They had so many little rooms with little ones. But you would come in there and they would all just jump up ready to praise God and stand on their chairs. You know what? They humble you because they are so pure in their worship. They are just eager to worship God. It’s so beautiful. And a little child shall lead them.

They show us how we just have to be like little children and trust God. We have to trust Him and then we just want to worship Him the same way a little child just wants to run to their parent and throw their arms around them and give them a kiss and a hug. They don’t care if their parent isn’t perfect (ha, ha, ha).

They just Love God. That’s how He wants us to be, to run to Him and love Him.

Pastor Ray…

Let’s do that now as you play your music. We come to Him as little children.

Ms. Annie led us singing I Love You Lord

I just have a request. Could we spontaneously offer worship? I’ll lead out to show you what I mean.

“Father, I worship You because You are so good because You’ve been so faithful, because I love You, and because You can never lie, and You are always true, and You’ve given us Jesus! I worship You, Lord. I praise You! Hallelujah!”

Praise You Jesus! Hallelujah! Glory to Your name! (spontaneously lifting praise to God!)

Scripture focus…

There’s an amazing door of opportunity standing wide open for me to minister here, even though there are many who oppose and stand against me. I Cor. 16:9 (TPT)

Ms. Jeani…

Even today we don’t look at who is opposing and standing against us. We keep our minds on the amazing door of opportunity that God has given us.

So, Father, we thank You right now that this is for all of us, doors are flung wide open in the spirit, they are flung wide open for us to minister right now, for us to minister today. And when there is opposition, we need not be surprised. He already told us about it. He is the ancient of days. He knew about it from the beginning of time. So, we don’t need to concern ourselves.

It’s an opportunity. It’s an opportunity, walking right through and taking it all on behalf of the kingdom of God. Because everywhere you go you bring the kingdom. Everywhere you go you have the answer. We thank You for it, Father, right now. In every area, absolutely every area of our lives there is opportunity and opposition. So, which one do we run toward? Which one do we move toward? We move toward opportunity. We thank You for it.

Pastor Ray…
When you said “open doors” I heard “I am calling you up to another level.” I just kept going to the chairs up here. “I am calling you up to another position seated in Me or next to Me in My heavenly place to change what you are doing here in your earthly race.”

Ms. Jeani…

And it’s from that position that we pray, seated in the heavenly places. We are seated in this position! That empty Cross, the redemption of His goodness, that’s where we pray from. Telling, telling it like it is. We are people that tell it like it is, speaking clearly the kingdom of the Most High.

Scripture focus…

So [as the result of the Messiah’s intervention] they shall [reverently] fear the name of the Lord from the west, and His glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him {and} put him to flight [for He will come like a rushing stream which the breath of the Lord drives].   Isaiah 59:19

“Arise [from spiritual depression to a new life], shine [be radiant with the glory and brilliance of the Lord]; for your light has come, And the glory and brilliance of the Lord has risen upon you. Isaiah 60:1 (Amp.)

In my Bible, I have a torn post-it note that says “Get up!” (ha, ha, ha).

Ms. Jeani…

It’s a personal word from a personal God who lives inside of us. “Get up, rise up, and go!”

Pastor Ray…

The doors are open, we’ve been called up, so we take a step up and we take by faith those things that have already been declared that are ours. And they are ours now whether we see them or not because we are not going by what we see, we are not going by what we hear, we are not going by what we know, we are going by what the Word of God says and using that Word built faith in that, that we’ve not seen yet and calling it as though we have! And then beginning to receive it by faith and see it coming into the natural. Thank You, Father. Thank You, Lord.

Ms. Jeani…

I love what he just said. We see it in the natural when we go by faith. In the beginning, we don’t go by what we see, we don’t go by what we hear. We go by faith. And as we go by faith, what we see and what we hear lines up with faith! So, we don’t go by faith forever and not see it. We go from faith to faith because we see it and then we go to the next thing and the next thing and the next thing. Because our faith affects what we see and what we hear.

Ms. Annie led us singing We Are Seated in Heavenly Places, Just Like Heaven on Earth

Ms. Constance….

Back when I was in Africa, another lady came to me and said “Can you come and pray for my house girl because she is manifesting.” The church had been praying for deliverance for her for two weeks but she continued to manifest and she was biting people. They couldn’t do anything to this girl.

I told her, let me go and tell my husband. My husband said “Oh, no. there are pastors there. You are not a pastor.” But do you know what I did? I did not listen to my husband. I listened to the Holy Spirit. I felt it in my heart that this job is mine. And I went. I followed the lady to the pastor’s house and they grabbed this girl from the car and put her in the house and started praying. She was biting people. I went in steady and I said “yes, I am addressing you.” She said “what?” I said “I am not talking to you. I am commanding you right now.” I tried to put my hand on her and she tried to bite me. I said “Stop it right now. You get out of her right now.”

Do you know sometimes you have to take a stance? You have to be strong to say “Come out!” And command with your heart, not fear. I didn’t fear. I commanded this demon and it went out. For two weeks they were fighting this demon. They couldn’t. Then they started to say “oh, thank you very much.” I said “don’t thank me. Thank God because it’s not me.”

So, what I am trying to tell you this morning, be bold in Jesus’ name.

Ms. Jeani…

You know, that goes with what Oral Roberts told Kenneth Copeland. Hear from God. Once you hear from God, consult not with flesh and blood. And sometimes flesh and blood are familiar voices most of the time, people that you are used to listening to. And that goes with that scripture too. There was an opportunity for you to minister, with opposition. Hello? Isn’t that why it’s an opportunity? But you stuck with His voice and you finished the assignment at all costs. And it changed. Your faith changed the way it looked.

Pastor Ray…

  1. Pray and hear from God
  2. Once you have heard from heaven, confirm no more with flesh and blood
  3. Get your assignment done at all costs

Ms. Constance…

When he was saying “don’t,” I asked God “should I not?” And God said, “Go ahead.” I thought, “I shouldn’t ask Him a second time. I am just going!” And when I finished the job, He said “Thank you.”

It’s better to listen to the Holy Spirit than to listen to the flesh. We should do what the Holy Spirit tells us to do. You are given an opportunity to do it. Use that opportunity because sometimes you are given an opportunity and you sit there and you keep the Word in yourself and say “Oh, I can’t say it.”

You know what? Sometimes it makes no sense. Sometimes, people will say, “What is she doing?” But if God says I should do it, I should do it and boldly doing it. I am boldly doing it because the Holy Spirit is saying I should do it in the mighty name of Jesus.

In the mighty name of Jesus whoever is sick, whoever is suffering, let him suffer no more! From this day, line up with the Word of God right now! No sickness or disease can cling on you if you have the voice of God; let your heart just get it in the mighty name of Jesus.

I declare right now, command my angels. You know you have your own angels assigned to you but you are not using them. They are waiting for you to send them wherever you are wanting to send them. Send your angels right now! I am sending my angels to you right now – everybody be delivered! Whatever sickness or disease! I crush the enemy! I come against you! I come against you in the mighty name of Jesus! I crush your head right now! I don’t care where you come from. I don’t care who uses you! I declare war today! Today! Today! Today!

You don’t touch them! They are untouchable! They are untouchable! I declare today! Be strengthened! Be strengthened! I am not playing, I am praying! And I am pulling down the strongholds, right down, in the mighty name of Jesus!

We are seated high above! We are seated high above! In the mighty name of Jesus and he is down, he is down, he is down! He is under our feet! We crush him! We break his power! The blood of Jesus breaks his power! I don’t care what you say, Satan! I don’t care! By the blood of Jesus, anyone who opposes me, opposes Jesus! Anyone who opposes me, opposes Jesus right now in the mighty name of Jesus!

Ms. Jeani…

We do right now, thank God. We declare over Living Word Christian Center that you are a people that hear from heaven. And when you hear from heaven, you do not consult with the flesh. When you hear from heaven you declare from heaven and know heaven is backing you up with heaven’s resources! Knowing who you are! You do whatever it takes to complete the assignment and you don’t do it once. You do it over and over and over and over again from glory to glory; from faith to faith, victory every time.

If you hear from heaven, you expect victory every time! He is faithful! He loves you! We speak to souls. We prosper as our souls prosper! Souls prosper! Souls rise up! In the intimate secret place of the Most High! And out of your mouth flow living water. The kingdom of God is within you. Bringing the kingdom of God to the earth! Father, we thank You for it. And when opposition comes, we see opportunity! We are the people who take opportunity! And we win every time!

Ms. Cindy….

Called out! Called out from that low place where you do not belong! So, get up from that place of prostration! Hearing, hearing from You, hearing from heaven, hearing and seeing Your glory! Lord, we thank You for the glory of God that takes us from down here, up out of that place into the place of growth and development in the mighty name of Jesus! We don’t stay where we don’t belong!

So, we are taking the steps and expecting the glory! Despising and rejecting all shame, watching it fall off! In the increasing brightness of Your glory, rejecting all contradiction! It cannot confine us! It cannot hold us back!

Show us Your glory! Show us Your glory! That we might GO! We believe! We get up! Knowing! Knowing the way to go! No other Way! No other Way! And the fire of God burns it off and we are coming forth like gold!

We are contending! We won’t have it any other way! To Your glory and honor and praise that redounds, Father! We receive it in ever increasing degrees! You glory! ON DISPLAY!

And we are called! Holy Spirit given power to witnesses of the glory and majesty of God! Honor and praise unto Him alone! That we would all be one as the Father is one with Jesus here on earth! No other way!

Pastor Ray…

Some things are being restored right now that you’d never ever thought would be restored. That just keeps coming up. And I guess I heard that in your tongues as you were praying. Restoration, it’s not the way you thought it would be. It’s not the way you even dreamed it would be. It’s being restored from heaven and heaven’s ways. It’s an operation and a power of the precious Holy Spirit that is restoring you up. It’s restoring you up! It’s restoring you up to a greater position that you’d ever thought you would be in. It’s putting you into a higher place, into a higher position with God’s great grace and the momentum of the Holy Spirit is moving you up out of the old and into the new where you have been restore! OOOOhhhhh! Restored, made new.

So, we get up! And we look up! We rise up! We take up! We move up! Thank You, Father.

Ms. Jeani…

When we were up there praying, I heard the walls coming down.

On the seventh day, the walls came down and you know they went into the city and those things that Pastor Ray just saw, those things that they didn’t even know were there, they went into the city that God had given to them, and they took, they apprehended what belonged to them!

And now we move in! Now we move in and we take those things that have been behind the walls and we say “Now the walls have come down! Now we apprehend!”

We no longer wait to apprehend! It’s time now to go in and take what He told you belongs to you.

Pastor Ray…

So hold on to heaven’s ways and hold on to heaven’s days and hold on to heaven’s words and command these things to be so! And declare them done, finished! When? NOW! Right now!

Restored, made whole, made right, whole, healthy, new, equipped! Thank You, Father. Thank You, Lord.

Oh, for the blood of Jesus, all through the blood of Jesus! Thank You, Father.

Ms. Constance…

The Spirit of God is saying “Don’t whine before God, just be bold!” You have been given the spirit of power, love, and sound mind. Don’t whine before God but be bold and take it in the mighty name of Jesus!

Ms. Jeani…

And drink the new wine anytime you want to whine.

Ms. Annie led us singing There Is Power in the Name of Jesus

Pastor Ray…

There is so much power in the name. Jesus, be glorified! Be lifted up! Be magnified! Oh Jesus! Jesus! Jesus.

Those things are broken and they shall never come back together again. If you look at it as a chain, those links will not be put back together. They have been broken, severed, cut off, shut down, turned away, out forever in Jesus’ name. For now is the time to rise and say “I am free!”

I am free to walk in victory under the blood, through the name, and by the power of the Holy Spirit—free. When? Now, today. Thank You for it, Father. Glory to Your precious wonderful name, holy, holy, holy are You and worthy to be glorified and lifted and magnified all this day through. We’ll look up, we’ll stay up, look ahead, declare forth this is the way it shall be, by faith we receive in Jesus’ name. Amen.
