Morning Prayer Summary for Tuesday, March 5, 2019

Ms. Annie led us singing Jesus We Love You

Pastor Ray…

Hallelujah, thank You, Lord. Yesterday, I hadn’t been thinking about it but once we got here and started lifting Him up, I was reminded again about what Ms. Florence shared about doors. I wasn’t reminded of it because when we continued to lift Him up, I saw a doorway but it was a double door and it was wide open. And the more we lifted Him up, the more strength or anointing we had to go through the door. But then on the other side of that, if you remember, Florence said there are keys to doors. Sometimes we get a key but it’s not the right key. It’s not made for that door. Then we have the right key but we are trying to go through the wrong door. So, it’s lining things up and getting them exactly right: right key, right time, right door.

While we are worshipping Him this morning, this is what I saw in my heart. Once we get the gumption, once we by faith take the steps to go through the door, or the doors, then on the other side of that there are rooms, there are places, there are territories, there are unusual manifestations or ways or other parts that we would never have had if we hadn’t first saw that there was a door, know that by the blood, through the name, by the power of Holy Spirit we have a way in or a way through, we’d never see what was over on the other side in the next room. And as we by faith we just take those steps of faith, we’ll see things we never saw before. We’ll recognize and know that there are greater things or an advance or more wisdom and authority that we can say and we can do. We’ll see it, we’ll receive it, and there will be other doors in the room that we’ve exited out from or into and there’ll be other places or areas where we will be called to go through. It is unending! It’s called more of Him! More of Him! And so we’re walking… I love it. And the more we exalt that name, the more we are lifted up out of our own name or whatever, our own deals, our own situations, there is more.

There is always more. Holy Spirit, thank You for the power. Thank You for Your presence in our lives. There is more of You and more of You and then there is more of You. And then those doors are doors in our own hearts too. You know as by faith we enter into what we know to do, more of Him will come in. And it’s a continual filling and refilling and refilling, continuation. I want to make you aware at 2:15 p.m. Pastor Lynne will be doing a Facebook Live on the Living Word site. You will be able to watch it later on as well. One thing she will be ministering on, getting back to our first love. We get things, we know things, we keep moving and sometimes we can just not so much be centering our thinking on Him. You can get on there and watch it whenever. But we would like you to watch it if you can.

This will go along with hearing His voice and then doing something about it.

Scripture focus…

(6) And great crowds of people with one accord listened to and heeded what was said by Philip, as they heard him and watched the miracles and wonders which he kept performing [from time to time]. (7) For foul spirits came out of many who were possessed by them, screaming and shouting with a loud voice, and many who were suffering from palsy or were crippled were restored to health. (8) And there was great rejoicing in that city. (9) But there was a man named Simon, who had formerly practiced magic arts in the city to the utter amazement of the Samaritan nation, claiming that he himself was an extraordinary and distinguished person. (10) They all paid earnest attention to him, from the least to the greatest, saying, This man is that exhibition of the power of God which is called great (intense). (11) And they were attentive and made much of him, because for a long time he had amazed and bewildered and dazzled them with his skill in magic arts. (12) But when they believed the good news (the Gospel) about the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ (the Messiah) as Philip preached it, they were baptized, both men and women. (13) Even Simon himself believed [he adhered to, trusted in, and relied on the teaching of Philip], and after being baptized, devoted himself constantly to him. And seeing signs and miracles of great power which were being performed, he was utterly amazed. (14) Now when the apostles (special messengers) at Jerusalem heard that [the country of] Samaria had accepted and welcomed the Word of God, they sent Peter and John to them, (15) And they came down and prayed for them that the Samaritans might receive the Holy Spirit; (16) For He had not yet fallen upon any of them, but they had only been baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus. (17) Then [the apostles] laid their hands on them one by one, and they received the Holy Spirit. (18) However, when Simon saw that the [Holy] Spirit was imparted through the laying on of the apostles’ hands, he brought money and offered it to them, (19) Saying, Grant me also this power and authority, in order that anyone on whom I place my hands may receive the Holy Spirit. (20) But Peter said to him, Destruction overtake your money and you, because you imagined you could obtain the [free] gift of God with money! (21) You have neither part nor lot in this matter, for your heart is all wrong in God’s sight [it is not straightforward or right or true before God]. (22) So repent of this depravity and wickedness of yours and pray to the Lord that, if possible, this contriving thought and purpose of your heart may be removed and disregarded and forgiven you. (23) For I see that you are in the gall of bitterness and in a bond forged by iniquity [to fetter souls]. (24) And Simon answered, Pray for me [beseech the Lord, both of you], that nothing of what you have said may befall me! (25) Now when [the apostles] had borne their testimony and preached the message of the Lord, they went back to Jerusalem, proclaiming the glad tidings (Gospel) to many villages of the Samaritans [on the way]. (26) But an angel of the Lord said to Philip, Rise and proceed southward or at midday on the road that runs from Jerusalem down to Gaza. This is the desert [route]. (27) So he got up and went. And behold, an Ethiopian, a eunuch of great authority under Candace the queen of the Ethiopians, who was in charge of all her treasure, had come to Jerusalem to worship. (28) And he was [now] returning, and sitting in his chariot he was reading the book of the prophet Isaiah. (29) Then the [Holy] Spirit said to Philip, Go forward and join yourself to this chariot. (30) Accordingly Philip, running up to him, heard [the man] reading the prophet Isaiah and asked, Do you really understand what you are reading? (31) And he said, How is it possible for me to do so unless someone explains it to me and guides me [in the right way]? And he earnestly requested Philip to come up and sit beside him. (32) Now this was the passage of Scripture which he was reading: Like a sheep He was led to the slaughter, and as a lamb before its shearer is dumb, so He opens not His mouth. (33) In His humiliation He was taken away by distressing and oppressive judgment and justice was denied Him [caused to cease]. Who can describe or relate in full the wickedness of His contemporaries (generation)? For His life is taken from the earth and a bloody death inflicted upon Him. (34) And the eunuch said to Philip, I beg of you, tell me about whom does the prophet say this, about himself or about someone else? (35) Then Philip opened his mouth, and beginning with this portion of Scripture he announced to him the glad tidings (Gospel) of Jesus and about Him. (36) And as they continued along on the way, they came to some water, and the eunuch exclaimed, See, [here is] water! What is to hinder my being baptized? (37) And Philip said, If you believe with all your heart [if you have a conviction, full of joyful trust, that Jesus is the Messiah and accept Him as the Author of your salvation in the kingdom of God, giving Him your obedience, then] you may. And he replied, I do believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. (38) And he ordered that the chariot be stopped; and both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water, and [Philip] baptized him. (39) And when they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord [suddenly] caught away Philip; and the eunuch saw him no more, and he went on his way rejoicing. (40) But Philip was found at Azotus, and passing on he preached the good news (Gospel) to all the towns until he reached Caesarea. Acts 8:6-40 (AMPC)

Pastor Ray…

None of this would have happened if Philip wouldn’t have been opened to what, in this case, an Angel spoke to him. But he also heard in his spirit by the Spirit the things that he was to do.

I read some historical things about this and over the years and years a lot of Jews came back to Israel from Ethiopia. But a lot of those had a history of accepting Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior because of this man. You know he didn’t shut up. But I loved that he wasn’t concerned that when they came up out of the water, Philip disappeared. He just went on having a great time. Sudden-lies can and will take place for all of the us if we believe they will. The Word says we have it. Our expectations or our beliefs, our based on what the Word tells us. And when we see an example of this, we too can be… I am going to say it like this, will be at some point translated suddenly and put over in another place where we could be more efficient, where we could bring the Word of God that we have within our hearts, those things that we’ve been raised up on, those things that we know are true and deliver it and move on! Hallelujah! Nothing is impossible with Him.

We love the Lord because of Who He is and what He’s done for us. He did it but it’s manifesting. The things that He did are being manifested in the days we are living. The blood of Jesus – hallelujah! Thank You for the blood. Thank You for the power and authority comes to us, into us, and out of us by Holy Spirit, hallelujah.

You know, prayer, praying unto Him, the Lord, God, our Father, through Holy Spirit in that name that’s above every other name is not boring. It’s so joyful. It’s really joyful to be in the house of God enabled to hear His voice and have Him speaking unto us individually…

There are foundations, there are many foundations spiritually speaking that have already been laid. But those things are expanding sayeth the Lord. Those things are increasing. Those things are becoming more and more and more able to see and to know. And the Spirit of God is and will continually speak to you and to me about we are called to do and when and when and when, the right time, the right door, the right key, the right opportunity.

Let’s just declare “this ministry, Living Word Christian Center is moving up into out to uncharted territory and things all around us are changing and changing and changing and there are and will continually be greater doors of opportunity for you and for me but for us corporately as a ministry! Oooooohhhh we come by the blood and in the name! We call it forth. We declare it to be so! We are on a pathway! We’re on an ascending way! But we’ll not slip on the way but we’ll take it step by step by step! Watch as we go or watch as we pray! Taking our place in positions of power and grace up on that wall! And watching, taking our seat in heavenly places each day.

So a fresh wind, a fresh wind blowing from every side! Ooooohhh! Revival, an outpouring, an awakening! Power in abundance! In abundance! In abundance! Things like they didn’t look like they would, they will continually be changed and rearranged! That’s right! Men don’t always know but God knows! He knows! So, we’ll take our orders. We’ll take our place. We’ll listen. Thank You! The wind, the wind, the wind, the wind of the Spirit, the wind of Holy Spirit blowing through! No man can stop it. No, we will not stop it! We are in expectation. We are pregnant! And there is no ceiling on it. There is no boundaries that can hold us back, hold us out, or hold us away. We tear down those things that have tried to bind up or stop us or bring a question where… We declare freedom today, victory today, break through! So we’re marching, we’re contending, we’re believing, we’re expecting.

I just want to remind ourselves that we are anointed. The anointing is resident within us. When we come into this place, it’s a supernatural place. It’s not natural. It’s supernatural. And when we by faith enter on in, things change, things will be rearranged, the anointing within us will never cease but it’s up to us to stir it and stir it and stir it, speaking, declaring, praying in other tongues and stirring ourselves up! Staying in one accord! Doubt, get out. Questions leave. It’s fine to have a question. I don’t mean that. But I mean questioning what God really has said or not believing what He said or walking in it. And the anointing resident within us, it makes our prayers, because they come from heaven, come up and come out of us. I declare a greater vision, the spirit of seeing and the spirit of knowing to be in a greater operation in these days! It would be just like we see it with our natural eyes but it would be our spiritual eyes and then as we see it there and contend for it here, we’ll see it with our natural eyes! Momentum! Momentum! Of furtherance! A Greater!

Can’t keep our eyes off of it! Can’t keep away from it! It’s Him. It’s You Lord. It’s the anointing, Holy Spirit. Ms. Annie led us singing about the anointing….

Brother DJ…

When I walked in this morning I asked Pastor Kelly “How was the weekend?” He said “it’s good.” You know he had his wedding anniversary of 47 years. And Friday as we were driving around I asked Cindy how long her mom and dad had been married. She said over 50 years. And we were talking about marriages. So this morning I felt like giving toward the marriages today. The marriages are so important in our church and Pastor Kelly come over here for one minute please. I want to sow toward marriages and pray over marriages today (DJ give Pastor Kelly an gift of money).

Father, thank You for Pastor Kelly’s forty seven years of marriage. We cover the husbands and wives of this church in the blood of Jesus. We speak what God has joined together, let no man separate. Father, you said a house divided against itself cannot stand. We come against strife, divisions in the marriages in our churches. Since we go to this church, I am lifting up the marriages her at Living Word, the relationship between the husband and wife. So, Father, we sow! We come against you strife! Division! And declare the marriages in the church are blessed! Covering the marriages in the love of Jesus! Father, we release the love of God in Christ Jesus in the hearts, in the relationships. We agree, this congregation is a witness of good and healthy marriages and relationships in the name of Jesus! Forty seven, fifty, sixty years of marriages! Thank You, Lord! They honor you in their marriages! We stop the outside influences in the homes. We cover all the wives in the blood of Jesus and declare the wives as blessed in the name of Jesus! And the husbands are blessed in the name of Jesus! And Lord, we are going to ask you now! In the name of Jesus we release the finances that create problems in the marriages, relationships, we ask You, Lord God, You meet all their financial need according to You riches in glory by Christ Jesus! We declare all the financial needs are met through Jesus’ Christ in this congregation! We say every man, every woman, all the pastors – blessed financially in the name of Jesus and their marriages are blessed. Increase and healthy and wealthy! Oh we give You the praise oh Lord!

Pastor Ray…

So here at the end say this after me “I am anointed.” That means we truly really absolutely believe it. The anointing is working within us and it will never, never, never not work. But we stir it, we believe it, we walk in it knowing we are anointed!

Just one other thing. Pastor Mac shared this yesterday for the staff. At both services on Sunday morning he heard from a couple different people who said “March will be a break through month.” Speaking of finances, speaking of change, a breakthrough month – we are in it! We receive it. We receive it for all of these families. We receive it for this body. We receive it for businesses that are in this body! We receive it! By faith March is a breakthrough month! Thank You for it Lord! Thank You for it Father! Over and above and beyond – a breakthrough month. We thank You for it, give You praise for it in Jesus’ name. So be it.
