Annie led group in worship…

A couple days ago, I was reading John 6:21. I love this scripture. I love the story about Jesus walking on the water. And so it just struck me again. It happened after He fed the five thousand people. Annie has a good description of the multiplication of the bread and fish. How did that happen?

Annie shared…

Jesus put the bread and the fish in the disciples’ hands. And they distributed it. I got that revelation when Reinhardt Bonnke taught about it. He said the yards between when Jesus put it in their hands and they took it and gave it to others were critical. The bread didn’t multiply in Jesus’ hands. It multiplied in their hands when they obeyed Him and acted in faith. They did what He told them to do.

One time I was at the grocery store and just as the cashier was going to put change in my hand, the Lord spoke to me, “Take that step and ask her what you can pray for her.” That takes faith. My mind was on other things and I wasn’t feeling spiritual. But when you take that step of faith, it’s the same thing as the multiplication of fishes and loaves. You know it’s not you doing the multiplying. You simply obey Him by giving what He gave you and then He multiplies it and feeds people with Himself! With the bread of life. It’s such a miracle. An honor. A blessing.

Pastor Ray continued…

I like how it was multiplied but it wasn’t multiplied like a huge pile. It was a process of faith.

Annie continued…

Hallelujah! It’s always by faith. Without faith, it’s impossible to please God.

We are to be faithful. And just keep moving. Speaking of moving, in verse 15, after the multiplication took place, Jesus recognized they were going to seize Him and make Him king. So He withdrew to the hillside by Himself to be alone. He wasn’t really by Himself. He was connecting to heaven. But when evening came, verse 16, “His disciples went out to the sea and they took a boat and were going across the sea to Capernaum. It was now dark and still Jesus had not yet come back to them. Meanwhile, the sea was getting rough, rising high because of a great and violent wind that was blowing. However, when they had rowed three or four miles in the storm.” They’re still rowing. They were moving but not moving very far. They did move three or four miles, then this is when they saw Jesus walking on the water and approaching the boat. I like this version from John. And they were afraid and were terrified. But Jesus said to them, “It is I. Be not afraid. Stop being frightened.” Just stop it! Have no fear. Then after that when He said that, they were willing and glad for Him to come into the boat. This is the part I wanted to get to. And the boat went at once to the land they had steered toward. And immediately they reached the shore toward which they had been slowly making their way.

Get it? They were on their own rowing and rowing. But once they invited Him in, He got in the boat. I like to get a picture of that, the speed that the boat went. It was translation, is what it was. It was so fast. They had set the direction they were heading but they went immediately. So listen to the Passage translation. It says they were relieved to take Him in and the moment Jesus stepped into the boat, they were instantly transported to the other side. Hallelujah! Bang! That is “suddenly.”

So this is the translation that I read. “In the evening, His disciples went down to the sea, got in the boat, headed back across the water to Capernaum. It had grown quite dark and Jesus had not yet returned. A huge wind blew up, churning the sea. They were maybe three or four miles out when they saw Jesus walking on the water, quite near the boat.” What is He a couple feet away? “They were scared senseless.” These people were freaking out. “He reassured them It’s me. It’s alright. Don’t be afraid. So the took Him on board and in no time, they reached the land the exact spot they were headed to.” Don’t you love it?

That just struck with me. Then Annie started singing about how He calms the waters. Come unto Me. He said that to them. It’s Me. It’s okay. Have no fear. They had to invite Him in. But once they invited Him into the boat, everything changed. And it was a supernatural move of the Holy Spirit to get them to the place that they were pointed toward over on the other side of the lake. Hallelujah!

In future times, if we’ll just let go and let God by the power of the Spirit do what He has said He would do, we would move through and go beyond to the other side in the way that we pointed ourselves to go. And we step up into another realm that will make a great big difference for me and you. We declare it this morning, we’re not so much just staying in the boat and rowing, we declare, we prophesy today, we’re moving to the other side! We’re going through! We’re not staying the same. Now is now. This is the time. These are the days. We are the people. And we’re going through. Even those doors that are out ahead, those steps that must be taken, we shall take and go from one degree of His glory to another degree. For we are going on through! Ha, ha, ha! Hallelujah!

Many things are more imminent than you thought. Many things are right on the verge, on the edge of stepping through into what we would say is brand new, greater and greater and greater and greater and greater!

A word came forth…

His mind is on the faithful. His heart is on the faithful. His heart, His mind is on you that have been faithful in your hunger toward Him. The faithful that run into the “suddenlies.” Where it seemed it was the end, the faithful when they were weary and exhausted in no time… in no time … suddenly upon suddenly upon suddenly… the church is so good at praying for the prodigal. And I love the prodigal! But My mind right now is on the faithful! You faithful, your “suddenlies” are everywhere in My Word. Everywhere!

Pastor Ray shared…

I wonder if the disciples had even a split second to enjoy the ride in the boat. Even as it was moving from the middle of the lake all the way to the other side. If they even got a glimpse of the speed that it was going. But I know when they got to the other side and got out of the boat, they experienced the joy and the power and the anointing that was on and through the power of the Holy Spirit in the Lamb of God. Jesus! The master! And sometimes maybe it’s that way for us too. Suddenly… change! It comes and we don’t have to take the time just to see the suddenly but over on the other side, we experience it and we know for a fact it was Him all the while that made it possible for us to “suddenly” get over out from and into His new days! Ha, ha, ha! Hallelujah!
