Ms. Annie led us singing Bless the Lord Oh My Soul

Pastor Ken…

The enemy recognizes spiritual strength, the authority exercised in the name of Jesus and in the blood. He also recognizes weak Christians, and he goes after them to devour them. Darkness works on commission—they have to produce results. If they can’t get you, they will move on to easier pickings.

Around a hundred years ago, my grandfather’s grandmother right before she went to heaven, prayed for him and all the grandchildren, claiming their salvation and pleading the blood of Jesus over them. Decades later my grandfather still hadn’t surrendered his life to the Lord. He was ending his career at a company he worked for and they threw him a party. Some of the guys for fun brought in a fortune teller. He reluctantly sat down but as soon as this woman held his hand, she dropped it and said, “Blood! Blood! Blood!” and she would not have anything to do with him. Hallelujah.

My grandfather did end up getting saved, and he told me that story. I thought, wow, that familiar spirit that was operating through that woman, recognized the blood that had been applied to my grandfather’s life decades before. And he still wasn’t walking with God at that point. But the enemy had to recognize the strength that is in the blood of Jesus.

While evil is on the rise, the Church is on the rise. And the key to overcoming is always maintaining a strong spirit. Sowing to your spirit God’s Word, praying and praising Him.

The strong spirit of a man (or woman) sustains him (or her) in bodily pain or trouble, but a weak and broken spirit who can raise up or bear?  Prov. 18:14 (AMPC)

Is any among you afflicted? let him (or her) pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms. James 5:13 (KJV)

But you, beloved, build yourselves up [founded] on your most holy faith [make progress, rise like an edifice higher and higher], praying in the Holy Spirit; Jude 20 (AMCP)

Make your spiritual life priority! We tend to forget at times. But God is continually reminding us. School yourself in dominion, in who you are in Christ, and the position you share with Jesus.

5) Even when we were dead (slain) by [our own] shortcomings and trespasses, He made us alive together in fellowship and in union with Christ; [He gave us the very life of Christ Himself, the same new life with which He quickened Him, for] it is by grace (His favor and mercy which you did not deserve) that you are saved (delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ’s salvation).
6) And He raised us up together with Him and made us sit down together [giving us joint seating with Him] in the heavenly sphere [by virtue of our being] in Christ Jesus (the Messiah, the Anointed One). Eph. 2: 5–6 (AMPC)

We are seated with Him in a position of authority! Amen!

May blessing (praise, laudation, and eulogy) be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah) Who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual (given by the Holy Spirit) blessing in the heavenly realm!  Eph. 1:3 (AMPC)

One of those blessings is the ability to resist the enemy and see him run!

So then, surrender to God. Stand up to the devil and resist him and he will flee in agony.  James 4:7 (TPT)

As translated from the Aramaic. The accuser will flee in agony because of the One who stands with you.

and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform.  Rom 4:21 (KJV)

Now you understand that I have imparted to you my authority to trample over his kingdom. You will trample upon every demon before you and overcome every power Satan possesses. Absolutely nothing will harm you as you walk in this authority.  Luke 10:19 (TPT)

Authority is defined, “The right to rule within a given domain or realm.”

That would be specifically your mind, your family, or household. In certain instances, exercising authority in agreement with somebody else. Some Bible scholars say, you have authority some 30 to 50 feet around you, wherever you go. I cannot prove that scripturally, but you better believe when you are walking down the street, you are catching the attention of evil entities in the spiritual realm – if you are walking in the place you are called to walk.

Sometimes you just have to shout it out! Display gratitude and pray, and shout! When we open our mouth, that realm responds. We have to be quick to put him on the run!

Nowhere in the New Testament does it say that we are supposed to ask God to do something about our enemy.

18) And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
19) Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20) Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.
Amen. Matthew 28 (KJV)

Jesus is the head. But we are the body. We must resist the devil because of the One who stands with us! We are the ones! We are more conscious of our strength and quick to use our words so they would move back and flee!

Even little things, thoughts of fear, a doubt. We are to resist!

The following excerpt was taken from The Believer’s Authority by Kenneth E. Hagin:

Once in England, Smith Wigglesworth was standing on a street corner waiting for a bus. A woman came out of an apartment house, and a little dog ran out behind her. She said, “Honey, you’re going to have to go back.”

The dog didn’t pay any attention to her. He just wagged his tail and rubbed up against her affectionately.

She said, “Now, dear, you can’t go.” The little dog wagged his tail and rubbed up against her again.

About that time, the bus arrived. The woman stomped her foot and yelled, “Get!” The dog tucked his tail between his legs and took off.

Wigglesworth said he hollered out loud without even thinking, “That’s the way you’ve got to deal with the devil!”

The Demon Jesus Refused to Deal With

In 1952, the Lord Jesus Christ appeared to me in a vision and talked to me for about an hour and a half about the devil, demons, and demon possession.

At the end of that vision, an evil spirit that looked like a little monkey or elf ran between Jesus and me and spread something like a smoke screen or dark cloud.

Then this demon began jumping up and down, crying in a shrill voice, ”Yakety-yak, yakety-yak, yakety-yak.” I couldn’t see Jesus or understand what He was saying.

(Through this entire experience, Jesus was teaching me something. And if you’ll be attentive, you’ll find the answer here to many things that have troubled you.)

I couldn’t understand why Jesus allowed the demon to make such a racket. I wondered why Jesus didn’t rebuke the demon so I could hear what He was saying. I waited a few moments, but Jesus didn’t take any action against the demon. Jesus was still talking, but I couldn’t understand a word He was saying—and I needed to, because He was giving instructions concerning the devil, demons, and how to exercise authority.

I thought to myself, Doesn’t the Lord know I’m not hearing what He wanted me to? I need to hear that. I’m missing it

I almost panicked. I became so desperate I cried out, “In the Name of Jesus, you foul spirit, I command you to stop!”

The minute I said that, the little demon hit the floor like a sack of salt, and the black cloud disappeared. The demon lay there trembling, whimpering, and whining like a whipped pup. He wouldn’t look at me. “Not only shut up, but get out of here in Jesus’ Name!” I commanded. He ran off.

The Lord knew exactly what was in my mind. I was thinking, Why didn’t He do something about that? Why did He permit it? Jesus looked at me and said, “If you hadn’t done something about that, I couldn’t have.”

That came as a real shock to me—it astounded me. I replied, “Lord, I know I didn’t hear You right! You said You wouldn’t, didn’t You?”

He replied, “No, if you hadn’t done something about that, I couldn’t have.”

I went through this four times with Him. He was emphatic about it, saying, “No, I didn’t say I would not, I said I could not.”

I said, “Now, dear Lord, I just can’t accept that. I never heard or preached anything like that in my life!”

I told the Lord I didn’t care how many times I saw Him in visions, He would have to prove this to me by at least three scriptures out of the New Testament (because we’re not living under the Old Covenant, we’re living under the New). Jesus smiled sweetly and said He would give me four.

I said, “I’ve read through the New Testament 150 times, and many portions of it more than that. If that is in there, I don’t know it!”

Pastor Ken…

We need to keep full of God. In the scriptures, it talks about someone who was delivered from an evil influence. They had their life emptied and swept clean but sadly they didn’t fill or strengthen themselves spiritually. So, guess what? The enemy came back and brought 7 of his friends with him, because he found it empty.

And do not be conformed to this world [any longer with its superficial values and customs], but be transformed and progressively changed [as you mature spiritually] by the renewing of your mind [focusing on godly values and ethical attitudes], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His plan and purpose for you]. Romans 12:2 (AMP)

Guess what that word renewing means? It means refilling.

Continual renewing and refreshing of your mind and of your heart with the presence of God, the Word of God, good teaching like this.

Keep and guard your heart with all vigilance and above all that you guard, for out of it flow the springs of life. Prov. 4:23 (AMPC)

What’s flowing through you today? Is it empty? Is it swept clean? Great. But is there something filling it? The remembrance of His Word, gratitude… Amen.

Thank You that You are here and flowing
We yield to You and Your presence
Thank You for giving us clear teaching
Strengthen us from the inside with the knowledge of who we are and what we possess in Jesus
Help us to take hold, to do life intentionally and boldly
Transformed from one degree of glory to the next
Yes, Lord! Unleash heaven’s supply
He is strengthening and filling us! Reenforcing us!
Open up the gates, let the flood come out, the rivers to swim in
For our families, cities, nations
It must open up!
What was dry and empty, now filled riverbeds
Refreshing and restoring rain all across the earth where it is needed
Rain, rain, rain, upon the dusty hearts
Move up and into the new! We need that, Lord!
It’s cycling! Unleash it today!
The nation is opening up today!
Let it flow to the cities, streets, country sides, homes, and hearts!
Raising up the name and fame of Jesus for this time!

It’s time to transition – come into the new
Doors to be opened and some closed
Holy Ghost promptings – next steps, supernatural transition
It’s time – can’t stay here! Take the path less traveled
Move with the anointing that teaches you
Goodbye to the past, to the devil, to depression, every work of darkness
Hello to joy, peace, and abundance! To that which You have prepared!
Hello to my new self! Hello new state of mind!
Hello healing, Hello to the will of God
See, I am doing a new thing!

Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland. Isaiah 43:19 (NIV)

Glory to God! Hallelujah!

I hear the Spirit of God saying, “What are you waiting for?”

Be, be in motion now! Pray and worship! Walk the floors, honor Him, and acknowledge Him. But be, be moving! Be in motion now!

For He is working, and He is restoring, granting breakthrough and promotion, opening doors! Even right here today! When you leave here, something is going to be staring you in the face and it’s going to give you the opportunity to say, “Hello!” (ha, ha, ha) and “Goodbye!” and step up and come high! It’s your choice. It’s your choice. Motion, motion, motion.

Yes, Lord. Help us to recognize our day of visitation, be aware of what You’re saying, to synch up with the Word of God, the progress and momentum You are giving now.

Ms. Annie led us singing We are Seated in Heavenly Places With His Son

Pastor Ken…

We choose to push out of low-level thinking, past regrets
We kick them to the curb and make room in our hearts to receive more
Grow in our inside God-authority consciousness
Beating and pulsing in our hearts, the knowledge of who You have made us to be
What You have called for us to do with You
Pulling up those imposed boundaries
Holy Spirit, wash over us, clean us out – the Church
And make preparation for that which we are to receive, walk in, and never leave!
Glory to God! We welcome Your presence, Lord
Fill and overflow in us with something good
We claim it in Jesus’ name – we receive whatever You have promised
Healing, family help, business!
Father, hover over us to bring order out of chaos
The Spirit of Jesus is energized to minister to us!
We let you do that today! To the Church around the world!
We love Your, Lord. Worship, honor, and reverence You
Have Your way, have Your way

Ms. Annie led us singing We Love You, Lord
