Morning Prayer Summary for Tuesday, July 13, 2021

GPAN 7-13-21

Ms. Annie led us singing I Love Your Presence

Pastor Ken…

Holy Spirit, come and speak whatever You want to speak, however You want to use us, in whatever way You want to change us. Amen.

That’s the great prerequisite of prayer, letting Him have His way to change and enabled us to do what He’s called us to do in prayer and in every other part of life as well.

Thank You, Father, for Your goodness and mercy and faithfulness. Wherever we find ourselves in the world today, we lift up the name of Jesus and give You the challenges of our daily life – the decision, bodily symptoms, our family, and our workplace.

We bend our will to Yours by fully releasing all cares and worries to You.
With open hearts and minds, we hunger to want more of You.
Increase and enlarge our hearts on the inside.
Everything that’s crowded our relationship with You and the plans and purposes You have for us – let them be pushed out of the way.
Lord, cleanse us and set us apart to hear Your voice more clearly that we would be prepared for what You have for us next. It’s Your presence in us and through us, Lord. We love you. We welcome You.

Supernaturally breathe on us and move through this time and move through every heart, Lord, that no matter what our situation would be, we would never be the same again in Jesus’ name. Thank you, Lord.

Ms. Annie led us singing I Love Your Presence

Pastor Ken…

Hallelujah. Thank You for Your presence, Father. We love You, Lord. We worship and magnify You this morning, lift up the name of Jesus, the King of kings and the Lord of lords – our strength and our strong tower, our healer, our rest – the great and mighty One Who comes in a blast of breath, in wind of the Spirit. We exalt You over our circumstances, over challenges, a bad report, a negative situation, a struggle you’re going through.

We lift You up today over America, Lord.
And seek and find our rest, strength, resource, wisdom, healing… everything we need today is found in You. Thank You, Father.
You’re here to meet with and help us, change us.

It pleases and energizes Him, the Great Husbandman, the Head of the Church! He loves when we invite Him to minister to us! He loves to swoop down into our lives every opportunity and invitation that we give Him – to send His gentle, loving, beautiful presence, and minister to us.

You may say, “What? I’ve been taught in Church that it’s all about what I do. I need to do a lot of good Christian works. I need to pray 24/7, memorize scripture and speak confessions.”

Well, that’s all good. But at the end of the day, our hope is in Him. It’s not about what we do, but what He has done. He wants to come and invade our hearts and change us. God Himself is energized and loves to come and do for you what you can’t do, even to give you words to pray out a simple prayer that He put on your heart.

There are certain times, I can remember one just a few years ago. I laid down in my closet and began to pray in the spirit. I wasn’t there long and I felt God’s presence descend upon me. He began to work in my soul (my mind, will, and emotions). I don’t even know what He was doing but He was affecting me profoundly. It was causing my emotions to go off to fire. I wasn’t even seeking or asking for it. It just showed up. I barely started to pray and there He was to meet me.

He’s here today. He’s where you are. He’s there to meet you. I said this yesterday. I’ll say it again. He’s not so much interested in what you can do for Him but what He can do for you right now in this moment in your life.

It’s critical that we let Him work, that we invite Him, that we cease our striving, that we be still just know that He’s God. And just show up!

Kenneth Copeland would quote the scripture, “For many are called, but few are chosen.” Matthew 22:14 (NKJV) And he liked to say, the ones that are chosen are the ones that simply show up.

Our lives had been intricately planned and abundantly provided for. You have a personal book of destiny. Go back to Psalm 139 and read about your personal book of destiny. It’s there.

God has a plan today. He has answers and prayers today. He has a work, a calling, a next step for you today, tomorrow, next week, if He should tarry. He’s got all of that solved. He’s provided an antidote for your situation, answers for your problem before you even encountered the problem. Amen.

But what He doesn’t have is your will. And prayer is a time for us to bend our will to His will. To choose to show up on God’s radar screen, to choose to open our hearts to Him and say, ”Lord, You know.”

And that day when He showed up for me, I don’t really know what He did. But I just said, “Holy Spirit, do whatever You need to do.” And when I left that place, my life felt real. I felt rearranged in a powerful way, refreshed in a good way.

There’s a passage in the Old Testament that tells about Saul who was struggling in some ways. The man of God told him to go down and get right in the middle of the prophets, pray-ers, those prophesying and worshiping.

5b) And it will happen, when you have come there to the city, that you will meet a group of prophets coming down from the high place with a stringed instrument, a tambourine, a flute, and a harp before them; and they will be prophesying. 6) Then the Spirit of the Lord will come upon you, and you will prophesy with them and be turned into another man. I Samuel 10:5b–6 (NKJV)

He went down among those prophets and worshiped God. And he was changed into another man that very day. Amen.

So God has a plan but what He doesn’t have is our will. He doesn’t have the ability to make us do anything.

We have to choose to bend our will, choose to show up, and invite Him; let Him do what He wants to do. Because He knows that there are some things in the plan of God, some experiences, some calling, some steps that He has for you, some blessings that He has for you, that you will only encounter and enter into once you’re changed, as you become more like Him.

Well, Ken, I thought that I am a new creature in Christ Jesus once I am born again.

You are and positionally, you are righteous.

For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.  (2 Cor. 5:21 NKJV)

You are qualified. You are completely and totally forgiven. You are wholly loved of the Father. You are a child of the most high God. You are endowed with favor. You’ve been given authority or the right to rule in your given domain in the name of Jesus. You are bathed in the blood of Jesus positionally.

You have a lot of things, of course, but then there are some things that only become reality through relationship. That’s what we were talking about yesterday with waiting on God. Because waiting on a God is giving Him space, giving yourself time to get to know Him, to build relationship. And it’s through relationship that some things start to happen in our lives that don’t happen in any other way.

Years ago, Pastor Lynne went to introduce her book, The Master Is Calling, at the Southwest Believers Convention in Anaheim, California. A few of us went out to help her run the book table. We were selling literally thousands of books. I remember that whole week of meetings. But I made a decision to seek Him more. I was in my twenties. I was young and just hungry for God.

I’m still hungry for God! It still excites me. I can think back when I was in high school, just being excited about the possibilities in God, that all things are possible in Jesus. That He is a rewarder of those who diligently and passionately seek Him. That if we’ll knock, if we’ll ask, if we’ll seek, the door will be open, answers will be given, and we will find. Those promises are still in the Bible.

But I just get excited to think about what is possible, what we’ve experienced, but yet what is in store. But part of what unlocks what He has planned for your life, His destiny for the Church, is wrapped up in relationship. It’s bending our will to seek Him. So, I made a decision that I was going to seek God beyond the meetings. And if you’ve ever been to a Believers Convention, you know that the meetings go from morning to 10:30 or 11 o’clock at night.

How many of you know that sometimes you can be a step or two steps behind in your walk with God or in your prayer life?

I shared yesterday about how sometimes life can feel frustrating and arduous and difficult. And you feel like you’re supposed to step through a door in your life spiritually but the doors locked and you don’t seem to have the key.

I found that oftentimes that’s a result of the fact that maybe we’re at half step or a full step behind or two steps behind in our prayer life, in our walk with God. But once you get in cadence with where He wants you to be at prayer, you’ll find that things start to flow and open up for you. And there’s a greater river of God in every part of your life.

I would go to the meetings and after a very long day, I would grab something to eat and go to the top of a parking ramp that was adjacent to the convention center. I would just walk back and forth in the warm evening air and pray in the spirit.

Nothing happened the first night. Nothing happened the second night. The third night I got tired and laid down on the parking lot and woke up to a security guard’s truck lights in my eyes; asking me what I was doing sleeping on the fifth floor of a concrete parking garage in Anaheim California (ha, ha, ha).

I did it again the next night. And then Saturday morning, I’m minding my own business in my hotel room. I wasn’t even praying. I was just grateful, getting ready for the meetings that day. And down on the inside of my spirit, I heard a still small voice. I heard God clearly articulate some things to me that became direction from my life for years to come. It changed me.

A number of years later, I was relaying this story to Pastor Lynne. She said to me, “Ken, you know what you did?” I said, “No. I just was hungry for God.”
She said, “You prayed yourself into another place.”

I prayed myself into another place where I could hear Him like I’ve never heard Him before. And like Saul, I was changed. Because in the weeks and months to follow… Wow! What a place.

In the Bible, Paul talks about praying from a broad place of utterance. “And for me, that a broad place of utterance would be granted to me to preach the gospel. (Ephesians 6:19 KJV)

Well, my endeavor, my bending my will to the hunger that was on the inside of me, pushed out and made a big space for me in my spiritual life, in my life in general.

And my goodness! I felt such joy, such freedom. I don’t think there was a devil even in the next county to me. And that just imprinted on me, as a young person, of what is possible and what happens when we pray?

It changed me. It turned me into another person. It moved me from where I was to the next place God was calling me to be. It prepared me. It set me up for the next thing God had for me. And I guarantee you, in the months ahead, a lot of change came, a lot of promotion came from my life.

But I always go back to that July, that summer when I was praying in the spirit and God changed me. Does that help anybody this morning?

I encourage you. Get excited! Imagine what is possible if we’ll just begin to pray!

If you’re struggling, if you’re frustrated, even just with your prayer life, take a little extra time, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes, and just yield to the spirit of prayer on the inside of you and articulated in English and in your prayer language what He gives you.

It’s doing a work. It’s changing you first of all.

The following prophecy was given by Kenneth E. Hagin on March 1, 1981 at Prayer Seminar:

“Now forasmuch as you’re zealous of spiritual things you’re to be commended for that,” saith the Lord. “Forasmuch as you are zealous to desire to be used of God. Yea, forasmuch as you’re zealous and even sense the call upon your life unto the ministry, you do well,” saith the Lord.

“But remember this, that your ministry will never be powerful. It’ll never — speaking from the human standpoint, get off of the ground unless it’s backed up with prayer. So build your prayer life first. Build your prayer life upon the Word. Build your prayer life. Wait upon Me,” saith the Lord, “and you’ll renew your strength. Yea, you’ll run and you’ll not be weary and you’ll walk and not faint. Yea, only a ministry that’s built upon prayer will be effective in these last days.”

So, build your prayer life first! Build your prayer life upon the Word, give it attention, make it a priority. Bend your will to pray and to seek you God! So much change. So much transformation. So much deliverance. So much of putting the enemy on the run. So much promotion in life, in God, in your calling is wrapped up and in cultivating an atmosphere of prayer and seeking God.

He has the answers. There are no questions at the throne of God. There’s no lack for power. Once again, there’s no sickness, there’s no insufficiency, or problems at the throne, only answers and healing and provision.

So why wouldn’t we want to go there daily to ascend to the Mount of God, which is right here on the inside.

It’s no longer a place in Jerusalem, but it’s right here. You are the temple of the Holy Ghost. God has chosen to tabernacle Himself, to live and imbibe your very being. He is in us!

Ken, why are you getting excited?

Because when you get excited, God gets excited on the inside! When you move the Spirit, He moves!

Smith Wigglesworth once said, “When you move, He moves!”

My Bible says that Jesus is seated presently at the right hand of the throne of God, which Bible commentaries point out that that implies that His part of the work in God’s plan of redemption is done. Of course, it is.

He is still our intercessor, and He still does certain things, of course. But as far as redemption is concerned, His part is done. And He’s delegated authority to the Church, responsibility to the Church. He’s given us a mouth. He’s given us His Spirit. Over centuries, He’s given us his precious, holy Word.

We have all that we need. In one sense, you don’t have any problems or questions. You have nothing but answers on the inside and in God’s Word. Amen. Glory to God. Glory to God. Glory to God. Thank You, Jesus.

His presence is rolling in here this morning in a heavier way. He’s rolling in to where you’re at right now. Thank You, Jesus.

His presence, His presence, His presence. He’s here. Glory to God!

He’s just looking for a space and room and an invitation simply with our words, with our heart, with our attention, with our will. Amen. And in He comes with answers, in He comes with inspired prayers, in He comes with worship, in He comes with ideas, in He comes with a relationship, and He comes with favor that’s unprecedented in your life. In He comes with revival for the Church, for America, for the world.

And it’s all wrapped up in building our prayer life, bending our will to seek Him.

Well, Ken, I don’t feel very spiritually hungry.

Let me just tell you, there’s a seed of hunger, spiritually speaking, on the inside of you. Just start feeding that. Just take a moment and think of God, take a moment and pray, take a moment and worship, take a moment and journal what you’re grateful for in God.  Feed that, minister to your spirit man, starve your flesh, starve your fears, starve your past, and feed what you want to grow.

Builds Your prayer life!

“And then some say, ‘Well, the Word will do it, just let the Word do it.’ But the Word will never be effective as it should if that who delivers the Word is not backed up with a life of prayer. So let the prayer life come first. Let the ministry of prayer be first. And you’re to be commended because you’re zealous of spiritual gifts.”

‘”Oh, to be used of the Lord,’ some have said. ‘Yes, to be used. Lord, use me. Lord, use me.’ But remember, even the gifts of the Spirit can be misused. Remember, the gifts of the Spirit if used in the flesh are not powerful. They must be backed up with a life of prayer. And so when they’re backed up with a life of prayer, then those become great weapons, powerful weapons to pull down the strongholds of the enemy. To do the work of God.”

“So build a life of prayer. Yea, put prayer first, and by so doing the Word — other things, ministry, vocal ministry, singing ministry, gifts of the Spirit in operations will come into their rightful place. And because your spirit has had times of fellowship with the Father and enough fellowship to become keen, then you’ll understand the move of the Spirit.

That’s what it means to follow Jesus. Waking up saying, “Holy Spirit, what are You doing today? What are You saying today? Where do You want me to go today? Amen. Glory to God!

And then automatically you’ll move with the Spirit. And you’ll not come to the place you’d say, ‘Well, I don’t know what to do now. What should I do now?’ Because your spirit is so in tune with heaven that you’ll know heaven’s desire heaven’s will and heaven’s plan. And so you will enjoy heaven upon the earth. So begin now. Begin now to build a life of prayer, to build a life, a ministry, of prayer.

This is not some special thing, by the way, that’s relegated to just E.M. Bounds or Lynn Hammond or R.A. Torrey. We’re all called to build and to live a life of prayer.

To give yourself unto the Spirit; for the Spirit would seek those whom He could use. Through whom He can voice the desires of the Father,

Oh, that’s good right there. Isn’t it. That’s our relationship. Does it sets you up? It sinks you up. I like to say it synchronizes you with the spirit of Jesus, the Holy Spirit of God.

Because ultimately the plan of God really is as simple as He wants to just express Himself through you.

He’s got the plans. He’s got abundant provision already in the store for you. He knows the way forward. He knows your future better than you know your past. Amen.

In fact, I wrote this down, “All of God’s promises were given in the past, then sent into your future, and are manifest in your now.”

God just wants to manifest! That’s really the call of the New Testament Spirit Imbibed Church – that we would simply become animation, or manifestation of God! Hallelujah!

But He’s not going to override anybody’s will. He’s not going to make anybody do that, including His children. We must daily choose to come to Him. We must daily choose to yield to Him. We must daily choose to be conscious that He wants to speak through you, At the office, He has a plan for you, that you’re sent on a mission.

And prayer, of course, is our first and foremost mission. Prayer is our first opportunity to bring change to this world, to reroute people’s lives, and to let Him become animate in this world through us.

To give yourself unto the Spirit; for the Spirit would seek those whom He could use. Through whom He can voice the desires of the Father,  speaking out the will of God to be done within the earth. And so you’ll be glad that you did. You’ll be glad that you did.”

Pastor Ray…

Father in Jesus’ name, we thank You for the great and mighty Holy Spirit. We thank You for Your presence moving.

We’re not saying any more that You’re going to move or that revival is coming. No! We’re saying, You are moving today like billows, like waves on the sea. You are rolling over this place, over the lives of people tuned in all across the world today. Your Spirit is imbibing us, lighting us up, filling us, changing us, setting us in motion in new ways in the name of Jesus. And today, Lord, we yield our hearts to You and lift up Your plan for this hour, in particular for this generation in Jesus’ name.

We pray for an amplification of Your message and Your plan in the Church, to the Church, and through the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Yes. We call for the sheep – Your people to obey, Lord.

Holy Spirit, help us to follow Your leading.

Lord, we call for an arranging – that You would arrange some things now, set some things up, and set some things in motion now for the plan of God, for revival in America and around the world, Father.

Open up! Open up! We pray for a spiritual hunger to be awakened in the Church, Lord. In the hearts of believers and followers of Jesus, we pray for a spiritual hunger on the inside of those in our city, in our state, in our nation, in the nations, Father, to arise, to awaken now!

We stir up spiritual hunger today! Make us hungry – however You need to do that, whatever is necessary now to shake us, to awaken us. Just sound the alarm that there would be a hunger now!

Birth in the heart of the Church, birth in the heart of Your people, Lord, to turn their attention away from the world, away from concerns that are low level and up into God, into Your plan, into Your Word and Your Spirit.

Help us Lord to get over there!

I just feel like our prayers are steering the Church right now – directing it, rerouting it. Yes! Away from danger, away from harm, away from distraction, and into the Savior’s arms, and into Your plan.

Increase. Increase. Increase. Yes, Lord, let increase come there – spiritual increase, spiritual hunger increase.

Yes. Yes. Yes. We pray for a breaking down, a breaking down of delay, of all that would hinder, and all that would stop – every strategy of the enemy.

We declare no weapon formed or fashioned against the Church, against believers will prosper. We Thwart those strategies, attempts of the enemy!

We pray out into the future. We pray out into the realm of God, into the plan of God and we make a way for it in America, in Israel, in the nations, Lord. We pray for an orchestration and an ordering now – even for leaders to obey, leaders of nations, leaders of countries, leaders, leaders, leaders! Responding now.

Your Word says that You’re able to turn the heart of a leader like a watercourse. You can redirect it if necessary.

And so today, Lord, strategically and in certain situations, You know which ones where Holy Ghost. We pray that You would redirect the leaders, even in some nations that You would take down, certain leaders and raise up others who have Your heart and Your interest and Your purpose in mind.

Obey. Obey. Obey.

Wake up. Wake up. Wake up. Wake up to it, Church. It’s time to wake up. We shake the sleeping giant. Wake up! Wake up!, Wake up! It’s time to get up. It’s time to stand at attention. It’s time to get into your position. It’s time to engage in your mission.

The Master is calling. The Master has need of you. The Master is directing you now. The Master is wanting to express Himself through you!

So, Church, wake up, wake up, wake up! Churches, wake up! Leaders, wake up! Pastors, wake up! Pray-ers, wake up! Presidents and prime ministers, wake up! In Jesus’ name.

Wake up to this present time and season! Wake up to the plan of God. Wake up and be wise and keen to the enemy’s devices and strategies and inroads. Wake up to put him on the run. Wake up to exercise authority. Wake up in Jesus’ name, to apply the blood and walk in a place of His presence.

Wake up to pray. Wake up! Wake up! That’s for someone truly today – wake up to pray – just to pray, just to pray and to occupy your place, your prepared place in God, prepared long ago when the Trinity, when the Godhead came together and decided to create you! decided to create the Church. They made a way for you to be imbibed and endowed and inhabited by God himself.

And so, wake up to the beauty and the magnificence and the AWH of being a God inside inhabited, and the ability to pray and be used as an agent of change in Jesus’ name, an agent of purpose, an agent of power, an agent to bring God’s atmosphere of heaven to earth in Jesus name.

So, we pray that today, Lord, for a keen awakening now in the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in America and around the world.

God forbid that we would be found slumbering or sleeping now. No, no, no! No you don’t devil! No, you won’t enemy!

For God will have the last say and He will truly have His way.

The mission will be accomplished. The harvest will be reaped. Signs and wonders will be seen and reported in every nation. And there will be a great sweeping into the kingdom of lives – hearts of men and women and children from sea to shining sea in America, from the far-flung islands of the earth to the great continent of Asia, down into the great island of Australia and up into England, Lord – like never before in the great UK! To the farthest reaches of the north on down to whoever might be inhabiting Antarctica on a mission of science, of some kind!

Lord, we pray today that You would do the work prophesied, that You predicted would come in this hour.

We pray out ahead and we release Your hand, and call for the mighty work of Your Spirit to accelerate those plans, to advance those purposes, to do the work of this hour and this generation, even before You come to take us away in Jesus’ name.

Soften our hearts to bend our will to Yours in and throughout the Church, Lord. Help us to bend our will! Help us to be possessed with an insatiable hunger for God, like never before! That nothing would stop us, nothing would detour us, or distract us but we would be, as the Scripture says, onward and upward into God, growing more gloriously bright and lit up than the day before in Jesus’ name.

Thank You, Father. Thank You, Lord Jesus. We love You, Lord. We worship You, Lord. Hallelujah. Thank You Precious Father. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Glory! Glory! Glory! Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Thank You, Lord. Thank You, Lord. Thank You, Lord. Thank You, Jesus!

Even though we have to close this time together, we don’t have to stop. Just keep going after God. I know we have work and other responsibilities in our natural lives, but that doesn’t mean we can’t keep going after him down on the inside. Right?

Just keep thinking about Him, keep the Word before you, take a moment and pray. Take a moment and wait on Him. Keep going after God and don’t stop. Amen.

Thank you for joining us here and online this morning. Have an awesome day. I love you. See you tomorrow.
