Morning Prayer Summary for Tuesday, January 28, 2020

Ms. Annie led us singing Come to Me You Weary One and I Will Give You Rest

Pastor Ray…

I turned that song around. He is saying “Come unto Me and then I’ll give You rest, peace, joy”  I started singing “I come to you.”

Ms. Annie…

We take Your yoke, Lord, because it’s easy. Your burden is light.

What’s a yoke? You put it around the neck of a beast, a horse, an ox. It’s something that is supposed to pull something. Well, that could be super heavy. Jesus said the teachers of the law bind heavy burdens and lay them on men’s shoulders and they don’t lift a finger to help them with it. But what does Jesus do? He takes His yoke and He pulls with us. We’re yoked with Him and He pulls with us. And He says it’s easy and it’s light.

Well, we know the reason why. It’s because He already did it all for us. We just take His yoke of His blood and the yoke of His love and the Yoke of His peace and the Yoke of His joy and then we can just pull through life with everything we have to pull, because He’s pulling with us. He’s pulling for us.

Cheer up! Take the joy, Take the peace. Take the rest. We receive it, Lord. Thank You.

Ms. Annie led us singing We Come to You, Lord Jesus

Ms. Annie…

I just saw this picture in my mind of a tiny child who fell down and he has a bad “owie.” Imagine if he wouldn’t come to you. Imagine if he sat there huddled up and all afraid. The first thing you want to do is have him run to you. I mean you would run first but you’d want him to run to you so you can help him with it. But imagine if he wouldn’t. Jesus said “Come to Me.”

So, Lord, we come to You. We believe in You and how good You are. Thank You, Jesus. We take Your yoke. It’s so easy. It’s so light because You give us rest. We find rest for our souls when we come to You, Lord. Thank You, Lord.

Pastor Ray…

Don’t you like it when you don’t have a care and there is no disturbance inside of you? Well, that’s what He does for us.

I got another picture while you were sharing; something that happened yesterday. We have a couple different bank accounts. One I can do online and the other Sandy has access to through her thumbprint. Well that bank tightened things up so she couldn’t get in there anymore. We had to drive down to the branch and get it straightened out. The lady helping us couldn’t really get it right because there were actually two problems. One, the bank changed their access. Two, Sandy’s phone wouldn’t work off WIFI. We were at a standstill. The lady was super helpful but she didn’t know how to get the phone to work. But this younger man who worked there walked by. She asked if he could help and explained the situation. He took the phone and changed the settings. It took him like 30 seconds.

So the phone was hooked up and everything was just right within just a matter of a few minutes. The lady that was helping us kept the right attitude and then the young man had the right attitude to help us. Hallelujah!

We left the bank but a little later we drove by that same bank. We were talking about something at the time but when I saw the bank, I pointed to it and said “Oh, thank you for being so helpful today!” Sandy thought I was taking to the car next to us (ha, ha, ha).

So, when you were singing, I just saw a picture of each one of us individually in our car driving down the street and the joy of the Lord is working so well in us, we’re just having a laughing, joyful time!

Most people when you see them driving, they are not happy, at least they have not notified their face (ha, ha, ha). But I saw that picture—that we would take that! We’d take the rest. We’d take the peace that passes all understanding. We know He already worked it out right at Calvary on the Cross. It was worked out then and it will always work out now, today, in this season, and in this time, so we can rest “Aaaahhh” (ha, ha, ha)

We started out with “There will be things.” Things happen but we’ve overcome because He overcame. He was faithful. I know you know that.

Ms. Jeani…

When Ms. Annie was singing, toward the end I saw some people with their eyes closed, afraid to look at the situation. You know, sometimes we close our eyes because we just can’t look. But when they opened their eyes, all they had to do was open their eyes, and there was Jesus, in a gentle way right in their face. It was that easy to receive because He was right there in their face. They saw the situation through Jesus and there was immediate rest.

So, Father, thank You right now. We release that over the world, over the White House, over America, over our leadership, over our pastors, over the Church, that when we are tempted to not open our eyes or when we think we have to wait until we are not afraid, all we have to do is open our eyes and He’s right there.

Father, I thank You so much that You love us that much, that Jesus lives in us, and He’s right there. He’s right there. He’s right there. We open our eyes and He’s right there and then we see through the eyes of love that never fail. And it all changes, it all rearranges right now, right now, right now.

And we speak, and we speak to those things and suddenly we’re up! Suddenly we’re up! Suddenly we’re strengthened! Suddenly we speak to those things, call those things that are as though they were! Suddenly they’re turning. Suddenly they’re getting in line.

Why? Because we opened our eyes and You are right there. You are right there.

Pastor Ray…

I have another picture to give you. Our little dog had a little surgery. Louie had surgery a week ago so they put on him a “cone of shame.” Do you know what that is? A cone around his neck to restrict his movement so he can heal faster. So, he goes around rattling and he can’t do what he would normally do. But he survived the week with the “cone of shame” on. We took it off last evening and he went wild because he was free! He was free from the stupid “cone of shame!” (ha, ha, ha) That’s what it is because he would just put his head down on the rug. But he is free from that! Delivered!

Ms. Jeani…

Sandy told me last night that you took the “cone of shame” off a day early. That’s what Jesus did. He takes it off early and there you go.

Ms. Annie…

The Devil tries to yoke us all with a heavy “cone of shame.” But praise the Lord! We’ve been set free by the power of Jesus’ name!

Ms. Jeani…

He removes shame! And He removes it early! We don’t need to keep it longer than we think. Actually never!

Ms. Annie…

Isn’t that true though? Shame is like a heavy burden. It binds you and holds you down.

Ms. Jeani…

Pastor Ray, you took it off early because you had such compassion for him.

Pastor Ray…

We couldn’t stand it any longer (ha, ha, ha).

Ms. Jeani…

Yes, that’s Jesus! He doesn’t want us to have shame, ever! Even one moment is too long.

Ms. Annie…

Think of the shame He carried for each one of us. He hung on the Cross. He was naked. They gambled for His clothes. They mocked Him. They spit of Him. All of the shame and guilt of the whole world was laid on Him. Why did He do that? Because He loves us. Oh, for a thousand tongues to sing about that. Hallelujah to His name.

Jesus, precious Savior, Healer, Waymaker, King of kings and Lord of lords…

Ms. Annie led us singing Lord, You’re Beautiful

Prayer Petition for Revival:

Lord, the heathen peoples, those outside of covenant with You, have thronged tumultuously together. They have plotted a vain and empty thing against You, Lord, and against Your Anointed. But You, Lord, have said that the plots and plans of the wicked shall come to nothing. We believe Your Word, Lord, so we do not fear them, for by Your power and Anointing they are bread for us. Their defense and shadow of protection has departed from them; but You, our God, are with us, and we are well able to go up and take the Promised Land, which You have destined for Your Blessing. You, Lord, have covered our heads in the day of battle, and you do not grant the desires of the wicked. You allow the evil of their own lips to cover them, and You do not allow a slanderer to be established in the earth. Our eyes are upon You, oh God the Lord, and in You we take refuge. You keep us from the snares they have laid for us, and from the traps of the workers of iniquity. You let the wicked fall into their own nets, while Your people escape safely. You set a guard, Oh Lord, over our mouths and keep us from practicing wicked works with men who work iniquity. We refuse to eat of their so-called “delicacies” or to take part in their counsel.

We make no friendships with angry men, and we do not learn their ways. We do not envy the violent, and we choose none of their ways. For the way of the wicked is as deep darkness, and they do not know at what they stumble. But the path of the just is as the shining light, that grows brighter and brighter; and by Your Word our path is well-lit, plain and straight before us. We will set nothing wicked before our eyes. We hate the work of those who fall away from Your ways and Your Word, and it shall not cling to us. A perverse heart will depart from us, and we refuse to know or be acquainted with wickedness. We choose to behave wisely in a perfect way, in Your perfect way, oh God. When will You come to us?

We learn Your ways, Father God, and we choose Your thoughts. For Your ways are higher than our ways, and Your thoughts are higher than our thoughts. We choose Your wisdom and Your words. For the so-called “wisdom” of this world is vanishing away and coming to nothing, but the Word of our God will stand forever. We do not walk in the counsel of the ungodly, nor do we stand in the way of sinners, nor do we sit in the seat of the mockers. We delight ourselves in You and Your Word, Father, and in Your Laws we do meditate day and night. For You, Father, watch over the way of the godly, but the way of the wicked will vanish and come to nothing. Righteous Father, the foolish things that You have chosen are wiser than the wisest wisdom of this world. And the weak things that You have chosen are stronger than the strongest things of this world. Your gentle, two-edged tongue of Truth will break a bone. You break the shields of the wicked and You cause the wars they incite to cease. Your Word, oh Lord, is settled forever in the heavens. There is none who can deliver out of Your hand, Lord, for You will work, and who will reverse it? So, Lord, we decide and decree the things You have declared in Your Word, and those things will be established for us. Your light will shine upon our pathway.

Now, Lord, look on the threats of those who oppose Your ways, and grant unto us, Your servants, boldness; that with all boldness we may speak Your Word; that we may declare Your Word boldly, as we ought to do. For Your Word runs swiftly through the earth, and Your Word is not chained. It will not return to You void, but it will prosper in the thing to which it is sent. Shall not the righteous God avenge His own elect who cry out to Him day and night? Yes, He shall avenge them speedily! And when the Son of Man returns, we desire that He would find faith in us, His people! Yes, Lord, may You find faith in us!

Lord, the boastful shall not stand in Your sight, but You shall destroy those who speak falsehood. Let them fall by their own counsels, for they have rebelled against You. Let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end, but establish the just. The wicked have made a pit and dug it out, but they have fallen into the ditch they have made, and their trouble will return upon their own heads. Their violent dealings will come down upon their own crown. They have sunk into the pit which they have made, and in the net which they hid for others, their own feet are caught. The wicked who oppose Your righteous ways, oh Lord, are snared in the work of their own hands. Arise, oh Lord, and do not let them prevail, but put them in fear, oh Lord, that they may know themselves to be but men. In the very thing in which they behave proudly against You, You show Yourself to be above them. The way of the wicked You turn upside down!

Father, we lift up our president, leaders, all those in positions of authority – we plead that precious blood of the Lamb over every one of them. We don’t know everyone of course but You know the ones today, especially our president, the first lady, all those in the White House with him, all those bringing council to him, around him, all those that are praying in the White House – we lift these men and women up. We get ourselves in agreement with all of them, the words that are being lifted up and prayed for this nation. We call this nation continually blessed from shore to shore, north, east, south, and west. We crisscross our country this morning, every state in the name of Jesus and declare “Jesus is Lord over America today!”

We see it, we seize it, we believe it, and we thank You for it, hallelujah.

We’re up and we’re not down. We’re happy and we’re not sad. We’re not just barely, barely scrapping by. We’re prosperous in everything we put our hands to and our words line up with that.

Ms. Annie led us out singing Hallelujah, Hallelujah

Pastor Ray…

Thank You, Lord. Hallelujah.

There is a restaurant in Florida we like to go to and it’s called, C’est La Ville. One time we were there and asked the waitress “What does that mean?” She said “It is what it is! The best food anywhere around here! C’est La Ville!”

So I say it today over what was lifted up today “It is what it is!” And the Word is true and the joy of the Lord is our strength and the wisdom and the peace and the plan and the purposes that God has for us, “C’est La Ville – It is what it is and it will be!”

If we haven’t seen it yet, we’re about to see it (ha, ha, ha)! Because today is the day, now is the time, we believe it and we receive it and everyone said “AMEN!” So be it in Jesus’ name. Hallelujah. Thank you for coming.
