Morning Prayer Summary for Tuesday, April 30, 2019

Pastor Ray…

Ms. Annie and I were just discussing that we all are in the army and we need to be out front, not just passive. And I want us to be that army, be aggressive. I want us to use the power that we have in us and keep the Devil under our feet.

Ms. Annie…

Well, right away, I am thinking about a specific situation that every day I have been wishing I could ask all of you to pray about. A couple Sundays ago, I was watching the live streaming of the service. I never get into the chat. I look and see what’s going on in the chat feed but I am not a “get socially involved on the computer” person. But every day, this man named David comes up in my heart. Because he entered the chat and said “I don’t believe in God and I am just logged in here to try to get in some kind of  conversation about God.” And he was kind of mocking. And whoever was in the chat was bringing up things that were happening in worship or happening in what was being said. He wrote back, “Well, I have the volume turned off.” Basically, he was saying he was in there to challenge God. And then this is what hurt my heart and to the point where I can’t forget him. He said, “I drew God’s name in the sand and then I…” basically he said he relieved his bodily functions in multiple ways on God’s name in the sand. And he said, “Prove to me You’re God. Strike me dead right now.”

Can you image that? And the first thing that came up in my heart was “He’s the God Who allowed men to do that to Him, to spit on Him, to scourge Him, to nail Him to a Cross. He doesn’t want to strike you dead. He wants to show His love to you.”

But I didn’t want to miss what Pastor Mac was saying. And now I regret, I wish I would have tried to figure out how to log in and say that to him. So, I have been trying to see if he would come back in the chat so I could say that to him. But I think for him to even be in the chat, it was a divine appointment for him. I so regret that I didn’t figure out how to get in there and just say that to him. God didn’t strike you dead because He loves you and He doesn’t want to strike you dead. Doesn’t that prove to you that He is real? But every day he comes up in my heart and I think “Oh, Lord, if there was ever a chance to tell everybody about David and ask them to pray for him…”

The Lord connected David with our church in that little instant of time and I feel that spiritual opening there but I didn’t go through it. But now I want to go through it in prayer. Do you follow what I am saying because he keeps coming up in my heart.

Lord, he challenged you, now meet his challenge but not in the way he expected. Meet his challenge the way Jesus met the Devil’s challenge. That everywhere David goes, he bumps into Your love, Lord. He bumps into the reality of Who You are! That You are love. You don’t want to take his life. You want to save his life in Jesus’ name.

Pastor Ray…

I saw another one. Not in that same chat situation but on Facebook from Living Word. It was about the money we gave to the Police Department in Brooklyn Park to buy bullet proof vests. But someone commented and said, “This is another reason I chose not to ever go to church again.” How would you get that out of blessing the police? Something good is turned around. That’s what the Devil does. What’s bad is good and what’s good is bad.

Ms. Annie led us in praying for David…

We lift up David before You, Father. We cry out to You, Lord. We thank You for connecting him with all of us even for those few minutes via the Intranet. He was looking for something or he wouldn’t have logged in. And, Lord, we ask You to meet his challenge where he drew in the sand and he challenged you to strike him dead – strike his rebellion dead! Strike his deception dead! And strike all of the pain and the anguish of his heart dead! And set him free and lift him up in joy. Manifest Yourself to him for Who You really are, the God of Love, the God of mercy, the God Who allowed him to do that to His own Son as a demonstration of Your love, O Lord! Meet him now. We release the ministering spirits of God. Go forth now into David’s life that he would bump into You, Lord, every which way he turns – he can’t get away from You! He keeps seeing Your love. He keeps seeing Your manifested goodness. Lord, reveal Jesus! Jesus, open his eyes to see You for Who You are in Jesus’ name. Thank You, Lord.

Scripture focus…

(26) So too the [Holy] Spirit comes to our aid and bears us up in our weakness; for we do not know what prayer to offer nor how to offer it worthily as we ought, but the Spirit Himself goes to meet our supplication and pleads in our behalf with unspeakable yearnings and groanings too deep for utterance.

(27) And He Who searches the hearts of men knows what is in the mind of the [Holy] Spirit [what His intent is], because the Spirit intercedes and pleads [before God] in behalf of the saints according to and in harmony with God’s will. Romans 8:26–27 (AMPC)

Pastor Ray…

What’s His will? That David moves out of the deceiving ways and because of that connection… I believe someone else that was connected with him said the right things to him. You didn’t have the opportunity to do it but someone else did.

So, how else should we pray about him? in other tongues. Let’s do that for a little while (tongues). Open, open, opening up the ways. Thank You, Father.

Scripture focus…

(14) For if I pray in an [unknown] tongue, my spirit [by the Holy Spirit within me] prays, but my mind is unproductive [it bears no fruit and helps nobody].

(15) Then what am I to do? I will pray with my spirit [by the Holy Spirit that is within me], but I will also pray [intelligently] with my mind and understanding; I will sing with my spirit [by the Holy Spirit that is within me], but I will sing [intelligently] with my mind and understanding also. 1 Corinthians 14:14–15 (AMPC)

Let’s just watch (remained quiet for a few minutes).

A Word of the Lord came forth:

Be still and in that stillness I will show you the absolute way to go. Be still and know that by My Spirit I will show you the way to flow. Be still and know that by My Spirit you too shall grow and increase in Me and through Me and by My Spirit raise you up into places you’ve never been to before. In waiting on Me, I will work through thee and the change, the changes will be definitely new for I am showing you the truth about the things that will come through you. Thank You, Father.

Pastor Ray…

Let’s do the last part of verse 15 “…I will sing with my spirit [by the Holy Spirit that is within me], but I will sing [intelligently] with my mind and understanding also.”

Ms. Annie led us singing Like A Child That Is Quieted Is My Soul; Praying in the Spirit in a Brand New Tongue

Pastor Ray…

Now I want you to sing that song (Praying in the Spirit in a Brand New Tongue) again in English… When we are in France, they are singing in French. The words are on the screen but even if I knew some of them, I would pronounce it completely wrong. When they start singing in French, a lot of times I start singing in other tongues (ha, ha, ha). It’s a good way to enter in. They can sing in their language and we can sing in other tongues. So, Ms. Annie, you are going to sing the song about singing in other tongues and we are going to sing in other tongues. Get it? We’ll just sing in other tongues. It’s the highest form of prayer, to lift our voices up like that…

A Word of the Lord came forth:

Somebody, I feel like it’s somebody in the room, in the chapel, you’re at the end of a phase or a chapter and you’re about to turn the page and move into another chapter. I always like that concept anyway. Out over from the old and into the new. A different new chapter and if you receive it, you will walk in it. And it will be new because it won’t be you. It will be the Holy Spirit through you continually showing you what to do in the next chapter! Hallelujah. We receive it (ha, ha, ha). Okay! Sometimes when the page turns we actually look different. We’ll look different. People will see us in a different light. Well maybe we could say more Holy Ghost light.

Pastor Ray…

Okay, Ms. Annie is now going to sing in English and we will sing in the Spirit. And if you feel like you can’t sing, just sing anyway. Pastor Mark Harper, he always said “I feel like I can’t sing worth two woots but when I just do it, then Holy Spirit before it gets anywhere, He moves it and changes it so it sounds better.” But we all have to do it. You don’t have to be loud.

We are going to do what that song says and pray in a brand new tongue. Maybe you have been praying in a tongue that is old. I don’t mean to say that tongues are old. I just mean to say sometimes we can get used to how we pray in tongues. And if we tune into actually what we are saying, we sometimes just go into it, we are comfortable with it, we’ve done it before. Oh, Lord, we don’t want to do that. They should always be fresh because it’s a new day with new responsibilities, new prayers that need to be prayed for situations that are taking place now in these days.

So go ahead, Ms. Annie, and start singing. We all have a part. It’s how we can call it “corporate prayer.”

Ms. Annie…

Thus sayeth the Lord “He likes our scribbles.” He puts them on His refrigerator because to Him, they are beautiful when they come from our heart. So, Lord, we are just going to scribble away now in tongues and sing! (ha, ha, ha) because He makes it all beautiful. Let’s all lift our voice. Let’s scribble around!

Ms. Annie led us singing Praying in the Spirit in a Brand New Tongue

Pastor Ray…

The names, the names, making a way, oh, there is a way! A clear way! Clear steps, clear plans, clear words, utterance by the Spirit! Oooooohhh! A sound of victory! A sound of overcoming victory! Victory! Hallelujah! Wooo hooo! Today, we receive it. We see ourselves walking in it. We see prosperity. We see it this time, this day, prosperity, money, resources, spirit, soul, and body, bodies whole, prosperous, healthy, all of the parts, inside, outside, wholeness, wellness.

Brother DJ shared…

We have a testimony right here about receiving. I was showing Brian, who works here at the church, a townhouse. Brian doesn’t speak too much but when he speaks, he means it. And we were talking about in the scripture how God is saying “Forget the former things. I am doing a new thing.” And then “I am giving you this land. Now you go possess it.” He has already given it to us but we have to possess it. So, when I was showing the townhouse to Brian and he really liked it. He said “I want this.” But as I was locking the door to leave, he said something so strange. He said “I claim this townhouse for me and let no other person buy it.” It was just like Jesus spoke unto that tree. I mean not loud or shouting. But I mean when he said that it just stuck with me. The way he said it, like Jesus said “Let no man eat fruit from this tree.” And what happened the next day, that tree died. So, we made an offer on that house and there were multiple offers. But the next day they told us “We sold it to somebody else.”

But he said it. The way Brian said it “Let no other person buy it. I claim this townhouse.” Very slowly he spoke and I heard it. Well I start showing him other places. You know as a realtor you want to show more places. But every time we went, we would talk about what he said “I claim this townhouse for me. Let no other person buy it.”

And behold a few weeks pass by and they call me back. They said “the purchase didn’t go through. Does your buyer still want it?”

“Yes, we do want it but we want a lower price.”

And not only did we get a lower price, not only did the lender do so many things that actually put money in his pocket but how God through one word spoken through this man was so strong… It stuck with me every time we went. But he said “I claim it for me. Let no other man…” I mean there was so much power in such a soft spoken word. And then right after he purchased the townhome, the townhome next door sold for $25,000 more than what he paid!

Thank You, Father, we praise You, Lord. We receive Your blessing, the blessing of God. We receive that financial abundance of grace. Thank You, Father, and we praise You, Lord! Father, let every word we have spoken about Your Word be faith-filled words! “Yes, I am healed! Yes we are healed! Thank You, Lord! There is power in Your Word. We don’t even need a long prayer. We understand. We speak to the mountain! You are removed! Speak to the disease! You must leave in the name of Jesus!

Father, we thank You for what You have done for Brian and You will do for many others! Not only will You give them a house but whatever their needs are. It could be a car. It could be any need, Father. You will meet that need! We praise You! We do believe what Pastor Mac said that money is coming to pay off this church! We cover all the pastors, their needs.

♪We receive from You! We believe! You are the God of miracles! We believe in You, Yes, we believe in You! You are the God of Miracles. Not only believe – receive! We receive from You! You’re the Lord of Miracles!

Pastor Ray…

He is the God of what? Miracles! (ha, ha, ha).

Yesterday late in the afternoon I had to go to the post office to get a letter. And so, I am in this line and everyone behind me are all speaking in other tongues. But they are speaking in their native tongue. And I thought, the opportunities to pray in the Holy Ghost are everywhere! at Byerlys, at the Hyvee! Wherever we go, we could speak in other tongues. We’ve done it in Europe. We just start speaking in other tongues! But we can do it here in Brooklyn Park “International” and be lifting up things we didn’t even maybe know we were lifting them up. But I love the Word that Brian said. That shows you how important our words are. And when we are speaking in other tongues too, it is important to speak words by the Spirit, you know up out of our spirit. Amen.
