Pastor Ray shared…

The greatest thing is to know the power and authority that is in the name that’s above every other name. Jesus! And believe it and use it and see the manifestation of those things that need to change through and by the power of the name of Jesus. For in that name, is all power and all authority. Thank You, for the power in the name of Jesus.

Prayed…

Thank You for the presence of Your Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit, we welcome you here in this place this morning. We turn our hearts and eyes to You. We look up to heaven. Holy Spirit within us. Your call, Your presence, the name that’s above every other name, they all make it so that we as children of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords overcome in every single thing we put our hands to. For we know and recognize and realize it’s not us, but it’s You in us, working through us. Knowing You.

Pastor Ray continued sharing…

I just had three things come up in my heart right now. Things that have happened in the past. Years ago a lot of us from this church used to go to Holy Ghost meetings in Ozark, Alabama. Every year. The Holy Spirit was moving. Pastor Lynne’s sister, Lucy McKee, was part of that church. I referred to her as Minister Lucy McKee because at that point, she wasn’t the head pastor. She was under the head pastor at that church. The Holy Spirit was moving and had been going for weeks and weeks, so much so that Lucy and her husband bought a house in Ozark. They still had their house in Montgomery. Vicky Jamison also bought a house in Ozark. It was because the Spirit of God was moving in that small city. The presence of God was so great. There was a woman that came to the meetings and she had a physical need that she couldn’t overcome. They talked to her about spending time in the presence. They told her, as much as you can, just keep coming back, coming back, spending time in His presence. They said it was a little over a week that she came to every meeting and spent time in His presence. No one laid hands on her. No one prophesied over her. But her being in His presence she was completely restored.

Like I said, I had three things that came to me. Another was something that happened to Sandy and me in the 90s. We were driving down highway 100. We were driving a conversion van because of our business. We were driving on Hwy. 100 and it was dark around 8:30 or 9 at night. Our kids were in the back. I started to slow down to turn on 36th avenue. There’s a Cub store there now. It wasn’t there at the time. There was a restaurant there and a restaurant on the other side of 100. There were ditches on each side of 100 and fences to keep dogs and people off the highway. As we were driving along, suddenly a lady appeared and before I knew it, her face was in my windshield. BAM! I ran into her. She flew maybe 20 to 25 feet in the air, landed on her face on the highway. We came to a stop and got out and went up to the woman. There was blood all over. And she’s not breathing! Out of our spirits came the name of Jesus. We knelt down to her while traffic was moving past us and people from the restaurant were watching. While on our knees, all we could say was “Jesus!” We didn’t pray any other prayer. We didn’t even know to pray another kind of prayer. All we knew was to speak forth His name. What seemed like an eternity, then suddenly she gasped for air. She started breathing again! I believe she was out literally. The ambulance came and the police. Questions. “Have you been drinking? What were you doing?” It turns out she was on her way from one side of the highway to the other for cigarettes. She decided to cross the highway… in the night… while she was drunk. We were devastated that we hit her. We went to see her in her hospital room while in intensive care. We felt responsible. We went in and she was alone. “Hi. I’m Ray Kelly and this is Sandy, my wife. We ran into on the highway.” It took every ounce of strength to do that. We began to talk to her about the Lord. Told her what happened and that we were sorry. Then her family started coming in and it was like daggers toward us. So we left. Later on, I took my sons and we went to see her at her home in Robbinsdale on Easter. We came with an Easter Lilly and everything we could find about being saved, being born again, being filled with the Holy Ghost, our church, everything. She was still apprehensive toward us. But she took all that we brought her. I shared all that to illustrate how there is authority in the name of Jesus. As pray-ers’ we respect and give honor to the name of Jesus while so many in the word speak His name as a curse.

The other thing is about Holy Ghost meetings we were having. It was during a Wednesday evening service. There was going on at that time a Holy Ghost move. One of my friends who was a prayer leader had a brother who was in jail in St. Paul. She kept visiting him there. She talked to the authorities and asked them, “Would you be willing to let my brother come out if we take him to church on Wednesday night and bring him back?” They agreed to that. The only reason her brother said yes was he thought it was his way out. Every time they’d stop at a stop light, he was tempted to leave. But they locked the doors and he couldn’t get out. They brought him to church. He hadn’t been in church for many years, and never been in a Holy Ghost service. They brought him to the second row in the sanctuary. He’s out of jail but he’s in a Holy Ghost meeting! Pastor Nick Kinn was right in front of him. At that time, Nick did a lot of shaking [from the Holy Ghost anointing on him]. There was a lot of joy manifestations of the Spirit. You wonder how the Holy Spirit could move on a man just released from prison for the night in the midst of all that was going on in the service. But He did. That man was changed into another man. He was saved. He was filled with the Holy Ghost. And he was never the same again. How did that happen? The move of the Holy Spirit. That’s why we always need a fresh move of His Spirit.

Prayed…

Lord, I know You’re helping us… by Your Spirit, You direct and lead us in the ways we should go. We humble ourselves before You. We trust You. It’s not about us. It’s all about You. We humble ourselves before You. We yearn and require as a necessity Your presence. A fresh touch of You. When we’ve gone out ahead of You, we repent. We thought we could do it in our own strength but we can’t. We need a fresh touch from You.

A Holy Ghost word came…

Some things you never could do, you would never, ever had been able to do. I am about to do it for you because you’ve spent the time, the days and the weeks and months with Me. You’ve given and yielded over unto Me and humbled yourselves to Me. I will do the things that you could never, ever do. These are new days and My ways. I will bring about a show for you that will show you once and for all to continually contend, to be with more of Me. It is My will and plan and these are different days. New days. Different ways. Different kinds of moves of My Spirit. So don’t just look to go back and go over what I’ve done for you in the past. Yes, be reminded of those things that I did for you. But look ahead, saith the Lord. Continually even contend within yourself to move out into the new days. Don’t question My faithfulness to you. Don’t question My grace that’s upon you. Trust, rely upon… ♪ I’m making all things new for you. Your yesterdays are over. These are My new days. My Church, My body change is coming. Hold fast to Me. Miracles, your destiny. ♪ Steps that have been given unto you, My still small voice within you will direct you. You will be where I want you to be and you’ll be there when I want you to be there. And every need, whatever that might be, if you have begun to think “I can’t do it. I’ve not been trained in that area,” let that go and know I have trained you up and put gifts within you to do exactly the part, take the place I’ve called for you to be in My body. My body shall fulfill its destiny. You’ve been joined with others. You’ve been brought together in a family. We call back those that have left for the wrong reasons. We call them back.

I can see faces but I don’t know who they are. They’re turning. Father, You know them. We loose a supply of Your Spirit for them. In Jesus’ name, we call you back. We welcome you this day. Turn around, get up…

Pastor Ray continued…

Lot of children that have grown up, I see them coming back home. Not just to this place, but to “their place” where they have been called to be a part of.

We believe this country, Lord, we will not take a care or have anxiety about the things taking place in America. We lift our country before You today. We declare “one nation under God, indivisible.” We declare it and believe it. Things are changing. Turning and changing in the right ways. That Your power, revivals, the last great awakening move of Your Spirit, the former rain and the latter rain together are being poured out upon this land. That America will be what America was called to be.
