Morning Prayer Summary for Thursday, November 10, 2022

Pastor Susan…

Good morning. Welcome to prayer, everybody. We’re glad that you’re here. God is so good, isn’t He?

We’re just going to lift our hands right where we are. And you at home welcome online.

If you’re filled with the Holy Spirit, let’s just pray in other tongues. Brother Hagin used to say that tongues is a gateway to the supernatural. So if you’re filled with the Holy Spirit… maybe you don’t pray in tongues very much, but praying in tongues is a good way to go.

We are predestined to do good works…

This scripture came to my heart as we were praying. It’s Ephesians 2:10. I’m going to read it from the Amplified Classic. And this is speaking about all of us who are in the body of Christ. I love this. “We are God’s own handy work.” Isn’t that wonderful? “His workmanship, recreated in Christ Jesus and born anew.” And here’s the purpose for all of this: “that we may do those good works, which God predestined, planned beforehand for us taking paths which He prepared ahead of time, that we should walk in them, living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live.”

The body of Christ has a corporate assignment…

You know, there are good works that we’re all called to do individually, but actually the only reason we have individual works to do is because of the corporate body we’re set in, right? So what makes our life really meaningful and what makes our gifting and our call and the grace on our lives come into perspective and make it really meaningful is because we’re set in the church. We have a corporate assignment as the body of Christ. We’re not just a bunch of individuals, right? We shouldn’t be running around. We’re the body of Christ. God has connected us, and we are greater and stronger together. Greater and stronger than we could ever be on our own. What really came into my heart today are those straight paths of the Lord, the good works that God has called us to.

God is unstoppable…

And I just want you to know that God’s unstoppable. His ways are unstoppable! It doesn’t matter how things may look in the natural, we’re just not looking to that. Right? God’s going to have His way and He is going to have His way through the church. And so, we are grateful for the paths that He has prearranged and made ready for us. And I’d like to pray about those paths, because on those paths there’s provision on those paths. Walking in the grace that we’ve been called to, that’s the supernatural. I think very often, I don’t know, maybe I think differently, but I think people are looking in the church, like “God’s going to pour His glory out, and boy, when that happens, whoop, we’re all just going to be whipped into shape.”

Faith is required…

But faith maybe won’t matter, people think. But I’m telling you what, faith is one of the things that abides. And for us to walk with God and for us to move in the gifts of the Spirit, we always start out using our faith. Right? So faith is required and what God wants to do, I believe we are going to end this hour… We’re going to need to be more focused, more tuned in, more aware of Him, more committed and consecrated to Him than ever to do what He’s called us to do in this time. So, I want to pray about those paths today, and hop up if you’ve got anything.

Prayed…

Father, I thank you for your body… I thank you for the body of Christ… that we are collectively your workmanship, recreated in Christ for the good works.

You’ve called the body of Christ to good works, powerful works, marvelous works, miraculous works.

Father, works that impact works that reach the nation, works that reach the lost. Reach nations around the world.

You’ve recreated us in Christ for this purpose. And so, Father, you also said that you created paths for us to walk out predetermined ways for us to go.

Father, we lift that up this morning. We’re lifting up the way of the Lord, the straight paths of the Lord.

Father, as we’re praying, we’re praying for ourselves and our families. But Father, the churches that we are a part of and the whole body of Christ

Christians all over the world… this is a miraculous thing. You’ve united us into one universal church. We are the body of Christ.

And Father, we lift up the good works that you have called us to in this day and in this hour that we would arise and we would fulfill everything that you have given us to do that we would walk it out in faith… in love. We would be fully consecrated and submitted to you. We would hear your voice. We would know your ways. We would obey you in all things, in every way today and every day.

Father, we are praying for the body of Christ to be awakened. All of those who are in Christ, we’re praying about that awakening… all that are slumbering… sleeping… weary… all that are apathetic.

Father, we are praying for that great awakening today in the body. And we say, “Wake up and come out of your slumber. Awaken. Awaken unto righteousness. Awaken to your true identity who you are in Christ. You are not the world. You are Christ. You are not of the spirit of the world for the Spirit of God is living in you. You are not of those that sleep, not of those who walk in darkness. You are of the kingdom of light, and so awaken to your identity.”

Father, identity, identity, identity… Identifying with that which you have made us to be all … We thank you for that awakening identity, identity, identifying with you, identifying with Christ, identifying with righteousness, identifying with who we are in Christ.

Father, we pray for eyes to be opened eyes… All the eyes that have been blinded.

Satan, we bind you and your spirits from working to deceive and blind the body of Christ. And we command you to desist in your maneuvers and in your operations, and we say, “Let there be light. Great light, light, eye opening…”

Arising… the church arising… a glorious church, without spot or wrinkle or blemish. All things are possible to him that believeth … all things are possible with the Lord. And so, Father, we say we believe the Bible. We believe what you’ve said about these last of the last days.

And we thank you, Father, for harvest… Harvest coming out of this nation.

Father, we are lifting up all the people in the United States of America. And Father, we are praying and asking you for an outpouring, for an unprecedented move. A move like we’ve never seen before. Father, a move for the masses to come to Jesus.

Father, the children… Father, we lift them up before you and we pray that they would be delivered from evil, from the strategies of Satan, from his plots and from his plans. We are praying for a shift that they would be delivered from evil…

Barb prayed…

Demonstrations of the Spirit. Thank you, Father, for a move of the Spirit… A move … a flow … the anointing flowing, the Holy Spirit flowing… the anointing that removes every burden, destroys every yolk… the Holy Ghost and fire

Every operation in operation. The unction of the holy one… moving by the unction, flowing in the function of the Spirit, accessing every open door… every place that you prepared, stepping into every place that has been anointed and appointed to us in this hour… shaking up this place… shaking up your body… this nation

Lord, making a show in this day and this hour … showing forth your glory in this place in your people.

Open up. Open up now. In Jesus’ name. Open up the eyes… hearts…move upon your people… we’ve been called to the kingdom for such a time as this

Pastor Kevin shared the Tommy Hicks vision…

When we were praying about people waking up, I just felt I needed to go look at the Tommy Hicks vision. I started to think about awakening, because that’s what we were praying for. And it’s kind of funny, but I thought when you wake up in the morning, you can wake up and just stay in bed. Right? So it’s not just about awakening. It’s about what rising up. And really, unless you’re sleepwalking, you can’t rise up unless you’re awake. So the awakening has to come first and then the rising up comes after that.

So I looked at the Tommy Hicks vision here. I’m just going to read part of it. I think sometimes we’ll read these things and we’ll get excited and then they kind of just get left. And I think this is something we need to continually be going back to and keeping that in us and praying into that.

He said, “Suddenly I beheld what looked like a giant. And as I stared and looked at it, I was almost bewildered by the sight. It was so gigantic and so great in stature. His feet seemed to reach to the North Pole and his head to the south. Its arms were stretched from sea to sea. I could not even begin to understand whether this was a mountain or whether this was a giant.

“As I watched it, I suddenly beheld this great giant, and I could see it was struggling for life to even live. But his body was covered with debris from head to foot, and at times this great giant would move its body and act as though it would even rise up at times. And when it did, thousands of little creatures seemed to run away. Hideous looking creatures would run away from this giant. And when he would become calm, they would come back.”

Interesting, isn’t it?

“All of a sudden, this great giant lifted his hand toward the heavens and then it lifted its other hand. And when it did, these creatures by the thousands seemed to flee away from this giant and go into the darkness and into the night. Slowly this great giant began to rise. As he did, his head and hands went into the clouds. As he arose to his feet, he seemed to have cleansed himself from the debris and filth that was upon him. And he began to raise his hands into the heavens as though praising the Lord. And as he raised his hands, it was even unto the clouds.

“Suddenly every cloud became silver. The most beautiful silver that I have ever known. As I watched this phenomena, it was so great I could not even begin to understand what it all meant. I was so stirred as I watched it and cried unto the Lord and I said, “Oh Lord, what is the meaning of this?” And it felt as if I was actually in the spirit and I could feel the presence of the Lord even as I was asleep.

“From the cloud, suddenly there came great drops of liquid light raining down upon the mighty giant. And slowly, slowly, this giant began to melt, began to sink as it were into the very earth itself. And as he melted, his whole form seemed to have melted upon the face of the earth, and this great rain began to come down. Liquid drops of light, as it were, began to flood the very earth itself. And as I watched this giant that seemed to melt, suddenly it became millions of people over the face of the earth. As I beheld the sight before me, people stood up all over the world. So they rose up all over the world. They were lifting their hands and they were praising the Lord. At that very moment, there came a great thunder that seemed to roar from the heavens. I turned my eyes toward the heavens and suddenly I saw a figure in white, glistening white. The most glorious thing I have ever seen in all my life. I did not see the face, but somehow I knew that it was the Lord Jesus Christ.

“He stretched forth His hand, as He did, He would stretch forth His hand upon the peoples and the nations of the world, men and women. As he pointed towards them, this liquid light seemed to flow from His hand into this person, and a mighty anointing of God came upon them. And those people began to go forth in the name of the Lord.

“I do not know how long I watched it. It seemed it went into days and weeks and months. And I beheld Christ as He continued to stretch forth His hand. But there was a tragedy. There were many people as He stretched forth His hand that refused the anointing of God and the call of God. I saw men and women that I knew, people that I felt that certainly they would receive the call of God, but as He stretched forth His hand toward this one and toward that one, they simply bowed their heads and began to back away. And to each of those who seemed to bow down and back away, they seemed to go into darkness. Blackness seemed to swallow them everywhere. I was bewildered as I watched it.

“But these people that He had anointed, hundreds of thousands of people all over the world in Africa, Asia, Russia, China, America, all over the world, the anointing of God was upon these people as they went forth in the name of the Lord. I saw these men and women as they went forth. They were ditch diggers. They were wash women, and they were rich men and they were poor men.

“I saw people who were bound with paralysis and sickness and blindness and deafness, as the Lord stretched forth His hand to give them the anointing, they became well, they became healed, and they went forth. And this is the miracle of it. This is the glorious miracle of it. Those people who would stretch forth their hand exactly as the Lord did, and it seemed there was this same liquid fire that seemed to be in their hand as they stretched forth their hand, they said, “According to my word, be thou made whole.” As these people continued in this mighty end time ministry, I did not fully realize what it was. And I looked to the Lord and said, “What is the meaning of this?” And He said, “This is that, that I will do in the last days. I will restore all that the cankerworm, the palmerworm, the caterpillar. I will restore all that they have destroyed. This, My people in the end time shall go forth as a mighty army. They will sweep over the face of the earth.”

Pastor Kevin comments…

And where does that start? Rising up. Rising up. And what have we seen over the last two years? A pushing down. You can’t rise up. You can’t do this. You can’t do that. And that’s the thing that I believe we have to come against, the thing that would try and push down the body of Christ. I mean, how many people have you seen? I know a lot that just quit going to church. Just quit doing this, quit doing that. And we’re seeing this prophecy. We’re seeing this. And this is where we have to, as I said, stand up against this. Not give up but stand up. It’s too easy to give up, but we have to stand up and rise up.

Continued to pray…

So I’m going to ask you all just stand. Just stand up. And so, Father, we thank you for the rising up… the rising up, the rising up… we’re awake, we’re alert, and we’re up. We’re rising up. Rising up to take our places in the body of Christ … to let the Spirit of God flow in us, to us, through us…

No more shrinking back. We call those people in… those that have shrunk back… you can’t run, you can’t hide. You know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know the Word. You know the Spirit. You cannot run and you cannot hide from the plan and purpose of God.

Yes, yes, yes… Awake, awake, awake, alert… seeing, seeing, seeing with your spiritual eyes…

More, more, more, more… The hunger… the hunger for more of the Word. The hunger for more of the Spirit. Miracles, signs, wonders. Stepping out in faith… bold … boldness to step out. A boldness to step out in faith, to lay hands on the sick, to see them recover.

Bright lights. Bright lights. Shining bright.

The best days for the church are ahead… we refuse to look behind… no looking back… pressing forward. The body’s getting stronger and stronger and stronger.

Pastor Susan…

Keep your eyes on Jesus, your hope…

And along these lines, something came up in my heart and I’m going to read you something. In our Bible college, Pastor Mark Harper was teaching faith for us. In the very first lesson, he started out talking about the power of hope. And I feel like a lot of people in the body of Christ are on their backs because they’ve lost hope. And you know what? These three things, the Bible says, abide and they are forever: faith, hope and love.

Hope is a precursor to our faith. We will never operate in faith if we’ve lost hope. Right? And so I feel like part of what we’re praying about is that restoration of hope to the body. We’re not without hope! We know what the Bible says. We know who God is. But eyes have been on the winds and the waves, right? On the wind and the waves and the storm and the stuff. And when we pray about “all eyes on Jesus,” He’s where our hope comes from.

Psalms 94:19-23…

There’s a scripture Pastor Kevin wanted me to read. From the Passion translation. It’s Psalm 94:19-23.

“Whenever my busy thoughts…” that’s part of the problem. Sometimes our thoughts get busy, right? Sister Billye Brim would say sometimes “off with the head!”

“Whenever my busy thoughts were out of control, the soothing comfort of your presence, calm me down and overwhelm me with delight. It’s obvious to all, You have nothing to do with corrupt rulers who pass laws that empower evil and defeat what is right, for they gang up against the lovers of righteousness and condemn the innocent to death. But I know that all their evil plans will boomerang back on them. Every plot they hatch will simply seal their own doom. For you my God, you will destroy them, giving them what they deserve.”

Pastor Kevin…

I felt that Susan was to read the scripture because sometimes we spend too much time trying to figure out how this is going to happen. Instead of just doing what we’re supposed to do, which is pray into it, and then we can just go, “Hallelujah. We know it’s going to happen.” This is what God’s going to do. We don’t have to be concerned how He does it not. Not a bit. We can rest in that.

And it was so good. I wanted to mention again what Pastor Mark taught about hope. It’s too easy when you’re spending too much time looking at the problem. That’s what causes you to lose hope. And so God’s looking at it going, “Yeah, I’m going to take care of it. You just do what you’re supposed to do. Believe.”

Pastor Susan…

And one of the things recently the Lord said to me is, “I need your faith.” And we know that God responds to faith, doesn’t He? And so, if you find yourself hopeless, then I will say your eyes are on the wrong thing. And for you that are online, if you’re without hope, God is the God of hope. And it’s time to get back in His Word. Because when we stare at the problems and we take too much of that in, we think it’s too big. But it’s not too big.

Remember what the Bible says. Greater is He that is in you. And I think about in school learning the greater than symbol. God is greater than. He’s not struggling. He’s not trying to figure out what to do. He’s not wondering what the future holds. He’s already determined what the outcome will be. We have no reason to be without hope. Greater is He that is in you. Greater is He that is in me than he that’s in the world.

And the Bible tells us in 1st John that we can overcome the world even by our faith. God has given us what we need to overcome and prevail in every situation. So if you’re without hope, you’re looking and meditating and considering the wrong information. You need to get back into the Word. You need to dig in and find out what God is saying about our here and now. And this is the time of His outpouring. And you know what? That’s going to cause you to a arise. Hope brings us into faith. And faith causes us to arise and to do what we’ve been called to do.
