Morning Prayer Summary for Thursday, January 7, 2021

Pastor Ray…

What would you do if, as pray-ers, if we all just came in just moping, crawling in, down under? But we’re not down under. And you know what? We could replay yesterday. What do we do? Stand. When we’ve done all, what do we do then? Stand! When we see things in so many different ways… Okay, let me just go here. We’re coming to you from Minneapolis. We have some experience and some experiences here in Minneapolis where the media said the protests were basically peaceful when block, after block, after block, after block, and it goes on and on, were burned to the ground. And I don’t want to judge everything we see on the media, no matter what media it might be, but just to stay strong on the Word and keep pressing. What I heard in my spirit this morning was, “The battle has just begun.” We’re not talking about a physical battle. We’re talking about a spiritual battle. And so, the first thing that kind of came back to my remembrance, I printed it off. I just Googled it. Billye Brim. “One thing will save America.” Boom. It came up! Nice big picture of an eagle. This is from June 29, 2008. She got this at Prayer Mountain, so it was in a place of prayer.

“One thing will save America and it is not the election. It’s an awakening to God. One thing will avail for Israel and the nations, and it’s an awakening to God.” Billye Brim Ministries.

She got that from the Lord. Is that true? Yes. It’s the truth. And maybe we’re seeing things even more clearly now that that is what we need. And so just a couple of other things. Are we going to worship the Lord? Of course! Is everything down the tubes? No!

The other thing I had was Genesis 50: 19–21 in the Message. “Joseph replied…” You know about all the things that happened to him. “Don’t be afraid.” He was talking to his family. “Do I act for God? Don’t you see, you planned evil against me but God used those same plans for my good, as you see all around you right now—life for many people. Easy now, you have nothing to fear; I’ll take care of you and your children.” He reassured them, speaking with them heart-to-heart.”

And we use that scripture to say what? What the enemy meant for evil, God will turn it around and use it for His own good. Is everything over? No. Many things have just begun; we’ll just put it like that. And so, you know… This is not… Hallelujah. This is not just a political prayer group. It’s a prayer group. And in our nation, if we don’t pray for our nation, who will? So, just a couple other things. Well, someone put it out for Pastor Mac yesterday. We’ll just take our time with us. Everything’s good. Every day is going to get better. Let’s not stop with our confession. But this is what was put out yesterday, praying for America, Pastor Mac Hammond.

“God is the answer that America needs. That has never changed and it will never change. Let’s turn to Him through all of this. He will provide the wisdom and the grace we need to speak and live in ways that honor Him today and going forward. And we’re going forward! And then I thought this was good. Actually, Stephanie, my daughter put this out yesterday. “God is still on the throne.” Amen. “And He is still God. He’s still the way maker. He’s still a miracle worker. I’m going to keep my trust in Him, cause He’s got this election mess in His hands. No matter what the circumstances look like in the natural, He doesn’t have to rely on any person or the perfect set of circumstances to iron out the whole election mess. He’s got a great, wonderful and surprising eye-popping plan to wrap this up. I’m going to just rest in the fact that my great, powerful, and awesome God is working on the situation and will bring about the resolve when the time is right. I can’t wait to see how He does it. And that the whole world will know that it was God who did it.” Amen. That’s good. No man will get the glory, but God gets the glory. All of the glory.

And then just Philippians 4. I know we just went through this the other day, but… Then I’ll hand it over to you, Annie. Philippians 4:6, “Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything? No anxiety, no fretting, but in every circumstance,” is that good for today? Yes. “And in everything by prayer, by petition, requests with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God. And God’s peace shall be yours, that tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ. And so fearing nothing from God and being content with its earthly lot of whatever sort that is, that peace which transcends all understanding shall garrison and mount guard over your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.” Verse eight; “For the rest, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is worthy of reverence and is honorable and seemly, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely and lovable, whatever is kind and winsome and gracious, if there is any virtue and excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think on and weigh and take account of these things. Fix your minds on them. Practice what you’ve learned and received and heard and seen in me. And model your way of living on it and the God of peace of untroubled undisturbed wellbeing will be with you.”

Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Father.

And just so we have it clear, we’re not just going by what we saw yesterday on the media. And, like I said, because definitely we live in Minneapolis. We we’ve seen a lot. We came against violence then, we come against violence now. We’re not talking about violence. We’re talking about supernatural presence of God, the power of God, and the words that we’ve been given here in this Book to contend for the United States of America. So if we’ve just begun, let’s get on our marks. Let’s take that stand that we talked about yesterday and don’t quit. Never quit. Never let the enemy see us sweat, sit down, turn around or give up. But stay strong in Him. It’s not our strength, and we don’t have to fight the battle. He does. So whatever was meant for evil, He will turn it around and use it for His own good. It’ll be a pleasure to watch.

(Tongues) Thank you, Father. So up is where we’ll keep looking. Out is where we’ll keep marching, and we will contend, and we do see and keep our eyes on victory in Him, Christ Jesus, our Lord. And we declare it again: Jesus is Lord over America. Hallelujah. Thank you, Gather.

Okay, Annie, do whatever you want to do, please. Thank you.

Annie led group in worship…

I’ve been thinking today about Jehoshaphat again. They said, “Lord, we don’t know what to do. We have no might against this army that’s arrayed against us. But our eyes are on you. Our eyes are on you, Father. Because you’re faithful.

Annie continued…

Jesus told the story about the unjust judge. He was corrupt. There was a corrupt judge. There’s nothing new under the sun. And a certain poor widow came. Guess what a widow was in those days? She was nothing. She had no legal standing. She had no social standing. She had no financial standing. She was just the kind of person a corrupt judge would go, “Why should I bother with this little old widow?” But she kept coming to him and she kept coming to him and she kept coming to him and she kept coming to and saying, “Avenge me of my adversary.” Somebody was pushing her around. Somebody was thinking they could take advantage. And after a while, he said… This is Jesus telling this. After awhile he said, “I don’t fear God, I don’t respect other people, basically. But I’m getting kind of tired of her bugging me. I think I’m going to give her what she’s asking lest she wear me out.” Well, where else does it say wear out? I was thinking about that. In Daniel that says they’re going to try to wear out the saints of God. They’re trying to wear out the saints of God. Who’s trying to wear them out. They enemies of God! But this unjust judge said, “I don’t care what God thinks. I don’t care what people think, but I’m going to give her what she wants lest she wear me out.” And then what did Jesus say? It was so beautiful. He said, “Listen to what this corrupt unjust judge said, who didn’t care about God or man. Shall not the righteous God avenge His own elect who cry to Him day and night?” Amen, I say unto you, He will avenge them speedily…”  Speedily! We take it, Lord. But then Jesus said, “But when the Son of man returns, will He find faith in the earth?? Oh, those words always make my back up like this. Lord, I don’t want to fail that test when you return. I want you to just find faith in me. These are perilous times that are hard to deal with and hard to bear. But when the Son of man returns, He will avenge His own elect who cry to Him day and night. Because the righteous God is more righteous than a corrupt judge.

So, Father, our eyes are on you. Lord, we trust you. We believe in you, even though we feel this big, maybe. Even if we feel like an abandoned, forsaken widow, despised and cast aside by the powers that be, we are the bride of Jesus Christ. Hallelujah. Oh, hallelujah. He delights when we believe Him. So even when we feel like we don’t believe Him, we say, “Lord, we believe you. We believe you. We’re not going to let the devil wear us out. We’re going to wear the Devil out in Jesus’ name.” We’re going to wear him out by speaking God’s words. We’re going to wear him out by (tongues). We’re going to wear him out by standing for truth and justice and righteousness. We’re going to wear him out by contending for the plan of God in the earth. We’re never going to back down from the truth of God’s Word! (tongues)

I’m preaching to myself, people. We’re going to stand and believe God. We’re going to believe what He says. And I love that thing you read from Stephanie, your daughter. That was just beautiful. I heard somebody say, “when one person stands up, it stiffens other people’s spines.” Let’s stand up and say, “No, we’re not having the plan of the Devil for our country. We forbid that.” Jesus said “Whatever you allow on earth, is allowed. I give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven.” Hey, whoa! I’ve got the keys of the kingdom of heaven and what I allow is allowed and what I don’t allow is not allowed. So I don’t allow the Devil in his lies to prosper in my country. I don’t allow wickedness and unrighteousness to rule over my country. But I allow truth and justice to rule and reign in my country. And I allow the truth of God’s Word to flow like a stream over the United States of America. Hallelujah to Jesus! We believe in Him. We live for Him. We belong to Him and we’re never gonna stop. We’re gonna contend like the heroes in Hebrews 11. They looked away to a city whose builder and maker was God. That’s the city we’re looking away to.

Pastor Ray…

I want to quote something that Mario Barilla said about yesterday and it was really, really good. There’s a lot more to it, but he had gone down a list of things that took place yesterday. And a lot of them… this is the way he put it. These are bitter pills capable of killing a movement. And he said, but you’ve got to shake it off. And he said we have work to do. We have an American miracle at the end of our struggle. Signs and wonderful things. Miraculous events. God gets the glory. No, man. And he said, God has fully revealed the monster. He’s been uncovered not to discourage us, you know, so we just cower and shake. But so that we can slay it. Here’s your marching orders. Instead of getting bitter, get some rest. I like that. And then get busy. But you might say, “Well, get busy doing what?” First, shake it off. That’s a command from him. And then he quoted Acts 28:3–6. “But when Paul gathered a bundle of sticks, laid them on a fire, a viper came out because of the heat and fastened on his hands. So when the native saw the creature hanging from his hand, they said one to another, no doubt this man is a murderer whom though he has escaped to see yet justice does not allow to live.” In other words, he’s going to die. But … “He shook off the creature into the fire and suffered no harm. However, they were expecting that he would swell up or suddenly fall down dead, but after they had looked for a long time,” then what do they do? They changed their minds and they said ‘he was a God.’ Why did they say that? Because he shook a viper off instead of falling dead. Like Paul, they think we’re murderers for standing for truth. And like Paul, we have been bitten by a viper, but standing there and just letting it hang on our arm will surely poison us. Shaking it off will take us to a miracle. And it will all ultimately change the minds of many Americans who are watching us. Watching who? The Church! What’s the Church going to do? What’s the Church going to say? Stand, stand, stand… standing up. Remember how awesome God? Nehemiah 4. “Therefore I position man behind the lower parts of the wall at the openings. And I set the people according to their families with their swords, their spears, and their bows. And I looked and arose and said to the leaders and to the rest of the people, do not be afraid of them. Remember the Lord great and awesome and fight for your brothers and your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your houses. And it happened when our enemies heard that it was known to us and that God had brought their plot to nothing that all of us return to the wall. Everyone to his work.”

Hallelujah!

The enemy thought the enemy won. He always thinks he does! But the enemy always steps beyond or goes further than he should go. And he has been exposed, revealed. Thank you, Father. God is on our side. We know that is a fact. We don’t know what other men or women, political people who are really on our side. There’s always been the declaration to drain the swamp. There’s still some draining that needs to take place in this. And it’s the church’s place to stand up and fill the churches, raised the body of Christ. Do our part and contend, call it forth, declare it. (tongues) Pray out things that we many times don’t even know how, what, or when, but by the Spirit

Prayed…

(tongues…) pushing to that way… pushing to that wholeness… pushing to that wellness… healed, whole… restored, made new, transformed, to contend… calling the things that are not as though they really, truly are… And they will be great with great expectation… each and every day… contending… calling… declaring… believing… receiving…  looking up from where all of our help comes from…. we move ahead… and enter into even better days… no, no, not a dark, black winter… but a winter filled with the glorious presence of God almighty, where the church continually rises up, even higher… and holding fast to our confession of faith… Thank you, Father, for my determined purpose is that I may know Him, that I may progressively become more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him. Now these days, right now… it doesn’t matter what it looks like. It doesn’t matter if it looks like a high mountain… it doesn’t matter if it looks like a low, low, low, low, low place… we have been called, we have been positioned for this day and this hour to do our part… we take it personally… each one of us take it personally… So that we’ll contend even when we’re alone… but we’re never alone for the King of Kings has sent the precious Holy Spirit in us He does reside… so those things that need to be broken up and dispensed shall be… in Jesus’ name, we plead the precious holy blood of the Lamb over this land… today in the name of Jesus… watching while we pray… we’ll take our place. We get up on that wall and watch… and speak to the body… speak to those that are on the fence… speak to those that have maybe moved in another way… No, no, no don’t go that way… call on the King of Kings… call on the Lord of glory… for we have overcome… we will continually lean and trust in your will and in your ways, Lord… we must, we must move… we must move ahead… we must contend… call those things forth… staying steady with our eyes or our hearts fixed on what you call… it may seem like things have gone lower than ever before, but the Church is not going low… the church is rising up, filled with the glory of God. Hallelujah…

Annie, why don’t you sing about the glory, please. Let’s just keep looking up now. We’ve shaken off all of that junk. Things maybe we’ve seen or heard. Thank you for the glory, Lord. Okay, go ahead, Annie.

Annie led group in singing about glory…
Pastor Ray…

Today when I pulled into the parking lot, I think I said it out loud: “Thank you, Lord, for always leading us and guiding us.” And the enemy said, “Yeah, thanks a lot for leading us,” right back at me! That’s is exactly… we can sum up our prayers today. The enemy wants to take the Church down, but we’re not going down. We’re going up and we are being led by the Spirit. Hallelujah. Oh, so to end it this morning, go to Philippians 3. Just a couple of these verses. “Not that I’ve now attained this ideal or have already been made perfect, but I press on to lay hold or grasp and make my own that for which Christ Jesus, the Messiah has laid hold of me and made me His own. I do not consider, brethren, that I’ve captured and made it my own yet. But one thing I do, it is my own aspiration, forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead. Or in other words, “press.” “I press on toward the goal to win the supreme and heavenly prize to which God in Christ Jesus is calling us upward.” Hallelujah. Now just say this after me and then we’ll be finished.

I am anointed.
I have virtue.
Burdens are removed.
Yokes are destroyed.
I walk in the glorious favor in light of the Gospel.
I walk by faith, not by what I see, hear, or feel.
I have no fear because You’ve given me a spirit of power, love, and a sound mind.
I am the redeemed of the Lord, and whatever I say is so.
Let the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be acceptable to you, Lord.
Because I have what I say, I declare it today.
Now right, in this day, supernatural changes as we press ahead.
So Father, we’re encouraged. We’re not discouraged. We’re encouraged in you. We cannot be silent. We won’t sit down, and we won’t turn around. We will not quit. So therefore we will win in Jesus’ name. Hallelujah! For you are good and your mercies endure forever ever, and ever, and ever. Thank you, Lord. You get all of the glory and thanksgiving. We thank you so much for your direction, for your leadership for leading us into all of your truth in Jesus’ name. Amen. Hallelujah.

Thank you so much for praying and tuning in. Keep up the good work. We agree with you wherever you are. You agree with us? We’re in total agreement based on what the Word has said.

Amen. Hallelujah. Praise God.
