Mary led group in worship…

Say this with me. “Prayer is my foremost business. Prayer is my main business. I will give myself to prayer. My Father God hears me when I pray. He has said in His Word the fervent effectual prayer of a righteous man availeth much. I am that righteous man. From him who knew no sin was made to be sin for me that I might be made the righteousness of God in Him. I am that righteous man. I must see to it that my prayers are fervent. I will be fervent for the fervent effectual prayer of a righteous man availeth much. My prayers work. Hallelujah!”

Now lift your hands and thank Him for it.

Prayed…

Father, we thank You that our prayers work not because of what we do but because of what You’ve done. Thank You that our prayers, because we are righteous, availeth much. When we hear and know it’s Your Word and it’s You that’s inspired the prayer, we know that You hear us and that we have the petitions that we ask for and we thank You for it and we trust You for it.

I like that. It’s an old one from brother Hagin. It’s my foremost business. Well maybe somebody says, “I pray a little.” You better be praying all the time. My heart prays and it even prays in the night seasons. Now I want to read this copy entitled “The Giants.” I want us to get stirred up today about some things about the body of Christ. And all the while, what are we doing? Praying. My heart prays. Praying about it. I’m not just delivering information.

The Giants

The time is coming and now is when men and women, blood washed, blood bought, will come to realize and know the fullness of the covenant that belongs to them, will come to know the authority, the rights, and the privileges. And there shall arise a company in these last days that many people will call Supermen. Because they’ll operate in the realm of the supernatural in a way that has not been done heretofore. Many have touched the edge, gotten in just to the edge of it occasionally. But the time is coming when men will walk in it, walk in their covenant, walk in the supernatural, and it will be just as natural to walk in the supernatural, as it is for a bird to fly through the air or a fish to swim through the water. Hearts must be prepared, minds must be renewed. Spirits must come into subjection to the Father of Spirits. Speak it out, and by your speaking it out, then you create it. Hallelujah! The revelation is coming. They’ll be able to teach men in the realm of the Spirit in this area, where they can operate in that area. Like men in the mental realm will teach people the multiplication table, so spiritual things will become real, as natural, as mental and material things. And it shall be said in these Last Days as it was said of yore, that there are GIANTS in the land. These GIANTS will not be giants of physical stature, but giants of spiritual stature.

I’m going to be one of those. Amen?

Billye Brim has written a book called “First of All.” She talks about how the Lord showed her some things and what was coming in last year’s election. The Spirit made her to know that in order for things to be accomplished that God had that we “first of all” had to do something. And that “first of all” is found in 1st Timothy 2. “I exhort therefore that first of all supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and for all those that are in authority that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For it is good and acceptable in the sight of our Savior. … Who will have all men to be saved to come unto the knowledge of the truth.”

Reading out of Miss Billye’s book, she wrote,

Dr. Kenneth E. Hagin, whose books and publications I edited from 1970–1980, was granted a vision in which he saw three demonic frog-like creatures rise up out of the waters of the Atlantic Ocean off of Florida. They hopped along the eastern seaboard and landed in Washington D.C. He was made to know their satanic intent was to harm this nation.

He was shown, however, that this evil plan could be stopped by the prayers of the people of God. He was instructed to come back to Tulsa (he’s been on a ministry trip) and to start a regular prayer meeting to stop this strategy of the enemy. He initiated a daily prayer group, which stayed focused for a while, but let up in its initial purpose.

When the Watergate scandal with all its complexities and cover ups caused great hurt to the nation, the Lord told Brother Hagin this was what had been revealed to him in the vision.

Then he was told something to this effect: “I’m not going to hold Richard Nixon primarily responsible for this; I’m not going to hold the Republican Party primarily responsible for this; I’m going to hold you primarily responsible for this. For I revealed it to you, and the church could have stopped it. Whatever happens in this nation happens because the church allows it to happen.

I heard brother Hagin say this was one of the hardest things he ever had to pray and receive forgiveness for. But he did!

Considering all of this, I realize that the success of President Trump’s Administration or any future administration, falls primarily upon the shoulders of the body of Christ.

It came into my mind, and I knew it was of the Lord, to initiate a campaign. Not a political campaign. But a spiritual campaign. A prayer campaign. A “FIRST OF ALL” Campaign. A campaign which calls upon believers to commit to pray FIRST OF ALL for our leaders just as our Lord instructs in His Word.

FIRST OF ALL before w pray for our families, before we pray for ourselves, before we pray for the lost, before we pray for our jobs or businesses, our finances, our ministries, before we pray for anything, we are instructed to pray for our leaders, for kings (today it’s usually presidents, prime ministers, etc.) and those in authority.

My daughter-in-law, Candace Brim, sent me the following Andrew Murray quote: “The man who mobilizes the Christian church to pray will make the greatest contribution to world evangelization in history.”

Erika continued…

How about having that as a goal for the church? Amen? So I have a couple things here. Say, “I accept my responsibility to pray. First of all, for those in authority.”

I also was thinking about the prophecy in which Billye Brim had when she said, “One thing will save America and it is not the election. One thing will avail to Israel and the nations. It’s an awakening to God.” So in praying for our spiritual leaders, we’re praying for an awakening. I’m going to remind us once again of what an awakening is. Quoting from Miss Billye… she looked it up in Ireland’s Lost Heritage book. “A case could be made for say that a revival could be described as a visitation of God’s Spirit in God’s people. But an awakening as a time of such intense visitation that both the Christian and the non-Christian communities are affected. Revivals alter the lives of individuals. Awakenings alter the worldview of the whole people or culture.”

That’s what we’re calling for. Not only are we accepting our responsibility to pray for those in authority, we’re calling for revival in the church, every individual believer in the church to be revived unto God. We’re calling for an awakening that affects the whole culture. Not just me and my four.

To do any of these things (this is how the Holy Spirit said it to me), we have to see that we’re responsible. You’re not going to do anything that you don’t see and understand that you’re responsible for. We must see that the church needs reviving. There are still people that don’t think the church needs reviving. We must see the need for an awakening. If anyone doesn’t see, know, or understand or comprehend any of these things, there will be no movement or no motion to break out of the status quo. There would be no reason to do anything about something you didn’t see or know or understand.

I like how brother Mark Hankins talks about this. He says,

Christians often face challenges and barriers doing the will of God. Even the most difficult barriers can be broken and believers can go to places in God they have never been. Inspired by the Holy Spirit, the apostle Paul’s prayer in Ephesians 1 contains the necessary ingredients for every Christian to breakthrough any barriers they face.

7 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: 18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, 19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, 20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, 21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: 22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, 23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all. Eph. 1:17–23 KJV).

The apostle Paul called this necessary ingredient the Spirit of wisdom and revelation. That is the main focus of this prayer and the greatest need of every believer is the spirit of wisdom and revelation.

God wants you to have ever-increasing breakthroughs in revelation. This prayer in Ephesians is not really asking that God woiudl do something for us, but that we would see what God has already done for us and what already belongs to us in Christ. Paul is praying for a breakthrough in revelation.

The barriers we run into are not because God’s plan of redemption is deficient. The real barrier is in our knowledge and understanding of what God has done for us in the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ. We need to see who we are and what we have in Christ. When we live in the light of revelation knowledge, we will not only enjoy the blessings of God, but we will also fulfill the call of God.

Every breakthrough in faith comes from a breakthrough in revelation. Every breakthrough in receiving the blessings of God comes from a breakthrough in revelation and understanding. Every advance in fulfilling the call of God in our lives today comes from a breakthrough in the spirit of wisdom and revelation. The power that is available to us as believers is accessed through the supernatural revelation of God and His Word. [end]

Erika interjected…

When we live in the light of the revelation, that means a belief system is what you actually become. It’s not just up here in your head. It is who you become. That belief system is translated into everything you think, do, say. That’s what we’re looking for.

Quote continued…

The Holy Spirit inspired Paul to write down this prayer in Ephesians 1, so it must be important for every believer to pray it continually. This also must mean we are not going to receive what is included in this prayer if we do not pray for it. This is not just Paul’s prayer for the Ephesian church. This is the prayer of Jesus for every believer. [end]

What is happening to the inside of us as we feed on the Word and what the Holy Spirit is saying to the church? We’re getting stronger and bigger and getting revelation so we can live our lives in accordance with His will and His Word. Amen.

Let’s look at John 13. Jesus is talking to His disciples about going away. They get really sad. But He goes on to say in John 14:1 “Do not let your hearts be troubled (distressed, agitated). You believe in and adhere to and trust in and rely on God; believe in and adhere to and trust in and rely also on Me.” Then he goes through and says if you’ve seen Me you’ve seen the Father. And He gets down to this. “And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby)” When they had Jesus with them and He was ministering to them on a regular basis, He was with them, they were receiving impartations of the Holy Spirit, revelation was coming to them. He was their teacher. He was their everything at that time. And He starts talking about going away. And they’re like, “We’re not going to have a teacher.” That’s literally what it meant. “Some one who takes us by the hand, brings us on through things.” So fear started to creep in. He said, “I’m going to ask God and He’s going to give you another comforter, one who counsels you, helps you, intercedes for you, your advocate, your strengthener and standby that He will remain with you forever. The Spirit of Truth, Whom the world cannot receive (welcome, take to its heart), because it does not see Him or know and recognize Him. But you know and recognize Him, for He lives with you [constantly] and will be in you. I will not leave you as orphans…” That means we’re not going to be without the teacher, without the helper, our advocate, or alone. “I’m not going to leave you [comfortless, desolate, bereaved, forlorn, helpless].” That is good news, amen? “But the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, Whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And He will cause you to recall (will remind you of, bring to your remembrance) everything I have told you” (v. 26). And then he said this: “Peace I leave with you; My [own] peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. [Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed; and do not permit yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled.]” Is He talking to the church? Is He talking to you and me? Is He saying do not be afraid of what the world is saying to you? Don’t be afraid of what is going on out there. Don’t be afraid that you’re not going to be able to come through. Don’t be afraid that you’re not going to have everything you need in order to do what I’ve called you to do. Is He talking to me? He’s talking to me. I’m glad He talks to me. He goes on to say in chapter 15 that it was profitable that He goes away. Think of that! He’s telling them it’s better that I’m going away. Because then the multiplication of the power of God by the indwelling Holy Spirit into every believer… whooo! Do you understand, we’re praying for the spirit of wisdom and revelation that Christ in you, the Holy Spirit, the same spirit that raised Jesus from the dead is quickening our mortal bodies, revealing, declaring, disclosing, transmitting the things of the Father to us. So what? So that we can go about doing all of the will of God. I’m getting happy.

John 16:13, But when He, the Spirit of Truth (the Truth-giving Spirit) comes, He will guide you into all the Truth (the whole, full Truth). For He will not speak His own message [on His own authority]; but He will tell whatever He hears [from the Father; He will give the message that has been given to Him], and He will announce and declare to you the things that are to come [that will happen in the future]. 14 He will honor and glorify Me, because He will take of (receive, draw upon) what is Mine and will reveal (declare, disclose, transmit) it to you.”

Say “me.” He’s transmitting to me. He’s transmitting His will to me… revelation to me so that I’m not stumbling around in the dark, so I can be one of the separated ones, so I have distinguishing marks upon me. Part of the awakening, the revival of the church. “I have told you these things so that in me you may have perfect peace and confidence. In the world, you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration. But be of good cheer, take courage, be confident, certain, undaunted for I have overcome the world.”

If that doesn’t wake you up and make you shout, you need another cup of coffee. So we have the Word of God that reveals to us the will of God so we can see somethings. Amen? We have the Holy Spirit that comes and takes the things of the Father, opens it up to us in a way that we can see, know, comprehend, understand, and walk in the light of that revelation. So why am I going over this again and again and again? First of all, because I need it and I like it and the Holy Spirit told me to.

Romans 10:17 says, “So then faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.” Hearing and hearing and hearing and hearing… hearing about revival, hearing about an awakening, hearing about the power of the Holy Ghost, hearing about the indwelling Christ in you, hearing about “first of all” we need to pray for those in authority so that we can lead a godly and peaceful life… having an awakening that affects every part of us… hearing and hearing and hearing…

1st Corinthians 3:6 says, “I have planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase.” Repetition or the watering process is so vital to revelation. Think about it. Think about the Bible how repetitive it is. Mathew, Mark, Luke, and John, the same stories, the same story. The epistles. The Pauline letters, repetitive over and over and over again. You think it’s important? Yes.

Prayed…

Father, help us to get this and understand it… we want this for the whole body of Christ… every part enlightened and filled with revelation so each of us can walk in the light … executing Your plans… when we’re revived unto You, the impact will be great all across the land… there will be excitement toward love and good deeds… these stones are lively… breath in these bones… the body of Christ going forward…

Father, we want it for our body, the church… we want the revelation of the splendor… we don’t use that word all the time, Lord, but splendor in the way You see and have splendor… There should be none that are cast down, so we’re looking for this revelation to come… Father, we need a revelation of that supernatural power that raised Jesus from the dead… He is on the inside of us as believers… Father, let us treat it as the holy thing that it is… let us not be casual or flippant about that precious gift… a holy gift… we believe You for it… Father, we pray there would be an unfolding to our apprehension of the extraordinary power which reacts from him upon all who believe…
