Morning Prayer Summary for Monday, November 23, 2020

Pastor Ray…

This week we will be here today and tomorrow. Due to Thanksgiving, we will not be here Wednesday through Friday live praying but will rebroadcast some prayer on Wednesday and Friday for you to view. I believe one will be Pastor Lynne teaching.

I want to go down some scriptures on giving thanks. But first I would like to read a note I received last week from the UK. I like it because this lady is giving thanks.

Good morning Pastor Ray,

We’ve put a card in the post from the UK but not sure if it will arrive on time with you during current restrictions/delays here. We wanted to join with everyone and call it a privilege to take the opportunity and thank you so very much for bringing and sharing your supply so consistently and faithfully to live prayer. My husband and I have been so grateful to be able to tune in from the beginning of the first lockdown, early 2020 (that would probably have been February) and we are now in a second one.

Being in the Lords presence is such an important part of our daily routine. We’ve learned so much and grown spiritually through these times with you all. Every day we are learning. You make things very easy to understand. We’ve grown in our knowledge of honoring the precious Holy Spirit and how to increase our worship, wait on, and listen for His leadings.

We thank our God in all our remembrance of you. All glory goes to God for all involved in making it possible to be at Live Prayer daily in the week. Our very best wishes to Pastor Mac and Lynne, yourself, the worship and prayer team, and all your families, and congregations at LWCC for a very peaceful and fulfilling Thanksgiving.

Pastor Ray…

I like that everyone involved, the camera operator, TV people, the music, whoever else brings their specific supply that day, I am grateful. I’m thankful that we have the privilege and honor just to come before Him and do just exactly like this lady said, honor the Holy Spirit, yield to the Holy Spirit as much as we can, be led by the precious Holy Spirit so that we’re not going off on some tangent; praying things that are not necessary to pray in that day. We know that the Holy Spirit is directing, He is leading, and it’s up to us to follow.

There are a few other cards that I have received just recently. Thank you for taking the time to let us know that you are out there. Wherever you are, thank you for your faithfulness too. Faithful, faithful, faithful, that’s the deal, that we stay faithful to what God has called us to do and keep moving ahead because every day is better than yesterday. And as the weeks fly by so quickly, then we can look at it with that perspective.

Time seems like it is moving more quickly but the blessings, the increase, the momentum, the greater days are coming more quickly too… every day, every day, every day.

Scripture focus…

A poetic song for thanksgiving
1) Lift up a great shout of joy to the Lord!
Go ahead and do it—everyone, everywhere!
2) As you serve Him, be glad and worship Him.
Sing your way into His presence with joy!
3) And realize what this really means—
we have the privilege of worshiping the Lord our God.
For He is our Creator and we belong to Him.
We are the people of His pleasure.
4) You can pass through His open gates with the password of praise.
Come right into His presence with thanksgiving.
Come bring your thank offering to Him
and affectionately bless His beautiful name!
5) For the Lord is always good and ready to receive you.
He’s so loving that it will amaze you—
so kind that it will astound you!
And he is famous for His faithfulness toward all.
Everyone knows our God can be trusted,
for He keeps His promises to every generation!
Psalm 100 (TPT)

Ms. Annie led us singing Jesus, What a Wonder You Are

Pastor Ray…

I love that song because it lifts Him up in our hearts. Jesus, what a beautiful name and in that name, there is such comfort

Have you been having anxiety? Has anxiety come knocking at your door? When that happens, in the natural we can’t do anything about it right then, but we can supernaturally by the Spirit of God. When we lift Him and magnify Him.

Every kind of anxiety in Jesus’ name, calm down. The peace, the presence of God, the anointing of the Spirit, wherever you are, in that name of Jesus, a sweet calm spirit right now. I take authority over that anxiety that would try and come upon you and say, go, get out, be gone. And on the other side of that, a calm peaceful spirit. Hallelujah.

Ms. Annie led us singing Peace, Peace Wonderful Peace

Pastor Ray…

We receive that by faith, take hold of it, precious, precious peace of God. We’ll walk in the fullness of it, beyond what we could come up with on our own. The peace of God almighty, thank You, Lord. Thank You, Father.

Ms. Annie led us singing Holy Spirit You Are Welcome Here

Pastor Ray…

We are not wasting time, welcoming the precious Holy Spirit, looking up, looking out, opening our hearts. We need the presence.

Just a few minutes ago, I got this word that came from one of the pray-ers that come here every morning.

The Davids are showing up with sling in hand
In the spirit of council and might to destroy all counterfeit champions
(They think they are. They think they were. They think they will be. But they are counterfeit. In other words, they are fake.)
Many, many, many (not a few) mighty men and women of valor are finding their field, running to the giant and with the council and might of God almighty, they take down and remove the head for all to see.

To the enemy: I am coming for you, not in my own strength but in the name of the Lord of Hosts, the Angel Armies.

You come to me with a sword, spear, shield but I come to you in the name of the Lord of Hosts, the God of the Armies of Israel whom you have defied. David took Goliath’s sword and cut off his head. And when the Philistine army saw this, they were afraid and they ran away. (I Sam. 17)

Pastor Ray…

Thank You, Lord, that strong spirit is working through the Church in these days. Not so moved by what other people have said or say or are saying but what You’ve said in Your precious Word.

Thank You that You are still the same. Your Word is working today like it always has. It will continue to work. We trust in it and rely on it. We thank You with all of our hearts. Thank You, Father. Thank You, Lord.

Scripture focus…

1) He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty [Whose power no foe can withstand].
2) I will say of the Lord, He is my Refuge and my Fortress, my God; on Him I lean and rely, and in Him I [confidently] trust!
3) For [then] He will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence.
4) [Then] He will cover you with His pinions, and under His wings shall you trust and find refuge; His truth and His faithfulness are a shield and a buckler.
5) You shall not be afraid of the terror of the night, nor of the arrow (the evil plots and slanders of the wicked) that flies by day,
6) Nor of the pestilence that stalks in darkness, nor of the destruction and sudden death that surprise and lay waste at noonday.
7) A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand, but it shall not come near you.
8) Only a spectator shall you be [yourself inaccessible in the secret place of the Most High] as you witness the reward of the wicked.
9) Because you have made the Lord your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place,
10) There shall no evil befall you, nor any plague or calamity come near your tent. Psalm 91:1-10 (AMPC)

Let us just selah on that. No evil, no plague, no calamity can come near my tent. Now just think, we are in a tent. When we leave this earth, we are exiting out of our tent. But we are moving up to our heavenly future, blessed beyond our imaginations. But here on earth, we take that place of safety, peace this morning, trusting in You that it will all work out right.

Maybe some things haven’t worked out right yet, but hold fast to your faith. It will work out right. It’s all working out right. Hallelujah, Lord. It’s all working out right. Things are moving and changing, many of them are out of our sight but we can see with the eyes of our spirit. In our hearts, we know, we’ll stay right now in the flow.

Holy Spirit, right here, right now You’re so welcome, fill us up to overflowing. Glory, glory, glory.

Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. Colossians 3:15–17

Whatever chains that have tried to block the plan of God, they are broken by the blood of the Lamb!

Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our “God is a consuming fire.”  Hebrews 12:28–29

Pastor Ray…

I sense a change. I keep getting the word, mission. To see we are on a mission, an absolute, clear plan.

We will take all the steps He tells us to take. Victory is like our middle name. Victory is always with us because the Holy Spirit lives in us and everywhere we go, we bring victory in what we speak, our prayers. We will declare again over the body of Christ, “Wake up! 777!” And that call is bringing us upward to heaven’s ways.
