Morning Prayer Summary for Friday, October 30, 2020

Ms. Peg led us singing Worthy Is Your Name, Jesus

Pastor Ray…

When you were singing His name, I just thought of the song, Waymaker. We don’t always know what He’s doing. We just know it’s good. He’s doing good things in the face of whatever.

Concerning the election, we’ve prayed so much about it and we’ve read so many good things, words, prophecies concerning the election and I believe this morning that the battle is won.

Let’s say you go to Jerusalem. You have a guide leading you. You keep saying to the guide, “Lead me. Lead me. Lead me.” And he can say to you, “I am leading you.”

I don’t want to be that way concerning the victory that’s been won. But there’s still some plans that the enemy has in back rooms, in the hidden places, working through men and women in places we do not know about. Those things still have to be blocked, stopped, confused, absolutely annihilated.

When we see that more Christians, more believers, more godly men and women are elected, the victory was not just won for them but the victory was won against those.

Scripture focus…

(11) For they planned evil against You; they conceived a mischievous plot which they are not able to perform.
(12) For You will make them turn their backs; You will aim Your bow [of divine justice] at their faces.
(13) Be exalted, Lord, in Your strength; we will sing and praise Your power. Psalm 21:11-13 (AMPC)

Your power Lord, working on our behalf. His power is working. Victories are being won. And for us, we can’t be moved by some other things we might hear, see, or whatever. We can’t be moved by it when we know we have victory. Thank You, Lord. Thank You, Father.

(27) All the ends of the earth shall remember and turn to the Lord, and all the families of the nations shall bow down and worship before You, Psalm 22:27 (AMPC)

(1) The Lord is my Shepherd [to feed, guide, and shield me], I shall not lack.
(2) He makes me lie down in [fresh, tender] green pastures; He leads me beside the still and restful waters.
(3) He refreshes and restores my life (my self); He leads me in the paths of righteousness [uprightness and right standing with Him—not for my earning it, but] for His name’s sake.
(4) Yes, though I walk through the [deep, sunless] valley of the shadow of death, I will fear or dread no evil, for You are with me; Your rod [to protect] and Your staff [to guide], they comfort me.
(5) You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.

For they had a turnaround. We just read that. They can’t do what they were attempting to do. And that’s for today. In four days it’s going to be the election. That’s it. Victory will have been won. But let’s put it like this. Victory is won. We have more godly leaders elected and then we step over into the next day and out into the next months and years. We’ve got to keep on keeping on.

Some people think that all hell will break loose but we believe all heaven is breaking loose. It’s just the way it will be. That’s the way it is. It’s the way it will continue to be. The Church, the body of Christ is rising up in these days. If they haven’t done it yet, we declare they shall rise up and do what God has called them to do. Hallelujah.

Yesterday I went down into the garage under our building. This man saw me get into my car as he was getting groceries out of his car. I don’t really know how but he knows I’m a pasture. He came up and I rolled my window down. He said, “I have a question.” I thought, oh boy. I was kind of in a hurry (ha, ha, ha). He was a black man, precious, humble. He said, “You know, I just have to ask you. I’m a believer. I believe in God. I believe in Jesus. It just seems like, the president is not that much of a Christian. But it seems like Joe Biden is more of a Christian.

I was like, “Excuse me? I don’t mean to be getting too political.” I just talked to him about the media. The media will turn things to their ways, and we know that’s happening. I’m not telling you who to vote for and I didn’t tell him who to vote for. I just said, “Look at each party and what they’re standing on. They have it written out for you.” We have the list out here. There are many things that are “yes,” “yes,” “yes.” And there are many things that are “no,” “no,” “no.”

You know, we’re talking about the platforms of the parties. Pastor Mac has been very clear and of course Brother Copeland when he was here too. Look at the platforms. I’ve always been taught, and I’ve always chosen to be over on the side of what the Bible says about the way our nation should be.

So, we have a choice. That’s all I basically said. Just look at what the parties stand for. Don’t look at what the media is just saying about the candidates. He said, “Thank you very much.” And he was gone.

You better be ready all the time with the right word. I just was reminded of that right now. It took me by surprise.

(5) You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil; my [brimming] cup runs over.
(6) Surely or only goodness, mercy, and unfailing love shall follow me all the days of my life, and through the length of my days the house of the Lord [and His presence] shall be my dwelling place. Psalm 23 (AMPC)

Thank God. We have it. We have the presence. We have a dwelling place in the natural. We have a dwelling place. We have a house, a house of God that teaches the Word of God, that the power of the Spirit is working in and working into the body here at the Living Word or wherever you’re tuning in from.

Thank you for believing in the power of the Holy ghost. Amen. Just trusting in Him.

David’s poetic praise to God
(1) The Lord is my best friend and my shepherd.
I always have more than enough.
(2) He offers a resting place for me in his luxurious love.
His tracks take me to an oasis of peace, the quiet brook of bliss.
(3) That’s where he restores and revives my life.
He opens before me pathways to God’s pleasure
Psalm 23:1-3 (TPT)

Not just our pleasure, but a pathway that gives Him pleasure. Hallelujah!

and leads me along in his footsteps of righteousness
so that I can bring honor to his name.

We are lifting up His name this morning. Jesus, be glorified, be magnified, get all of the honor, all of the praise, Jesus. Thank You for what You’ve done on the Cross.

Thank You for the faithfulness that You gave unto us as You walked on this earth. You were faithful to go all the way to victory on our behalf. Thank You. Thank You. Thank You.

We praise again Your Holy name. We lift up Your name. All power and all authority is in the name of Jesus. Jesus. Jesus. Jesus, be Jesus in us and through us.

Ms. Peg led us singing Worthy Is Your Name, Jesus

♪ Worthy is Your name, Jesus. You alone are worthy of our praise, of our attention
Be exalted now in the heaven’s as Your glory fills this place
You alone deserve our paise, the name above all names
Be exalted now in the heaven’s as Your glory fills this place
Worthy is Your name, Jesus. You deserve our praise, the name above all names

Jesus, Your name is wonderful, Your name is beautiful
We exalt You Jesus, we exalt You Jesus
You are holy, God, our holy One, our strong tower, our refuge, our strength, and our portion
Mighty God, mighty One, the holy One of Israel, our God, our King, our Jesus forever
Worthy is Your name, oh, God. Worthy, worthy, You along are worthy
You are our everything, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus ♪

(4) Lord, even when your path takes me through
the valley of deepest darkness,
fear will never conquer me, for you already have!

Fear should never be near. No fear about the future, about what will unfold, about what we’ll do, about this, that, and the other thing. No fear. Thank you, Lord.

You remain close to me and lead me through it all the way.
Your authority is my strength and my peace.
The comfort of your love takes away my fear.

Just the comfort of knowing He loved us so much, it takes away the fear. That’s why we need to be together with other believers and just get out of the natural ways and thoughts and things and move over even more into the realm of the Spirit.

Our spirit man should dominate our lives, not our brains, not what we see in the natural but what we know He’s told us, written it out for us, given to us.

I’ll never be lonely, for you are near.
(5) You become my delicious feast
even when my enemies dare to fight.
You anoint me with the fragrance of your Holy Spirit;
you give me all I can drink of you until my heart overflows.
(6) So why would I fear the future?
For your goodness and love pursue me all the days of my life.
Then afterward, when my life is through,
I’ll return to your glorious presence to be forever with you!
Psalm 23:4-6 (TPT)

Oh, we got it! He’s got a great plan for us.

The following are notes taken from the Passion Translation on Psalm 23:

In Psalm 23:1, the Greek word for “love” is agape, which is a merging of two words and two concepts. Ago means “to lead like a shepherd,” and pao is a verb that means “to rest.” Love is our Shepherd leading us to the place of true rest in his heart.

In Psalm 23:2, the Hebrew word menuhâ means “the waters of a resting place.”

In Psalm 23:3, “He causes my life [or soul, Heb. nephesh] to return.” So often life drains out of us through our many activities, but David found that God restores our well-being by pursuing what pleases God and resting in Him.

Another part of Psalm 23:3, “circular paths of righteousness.” It is a common trait for sheep on the hillsides of Israel to circle their way up higher. They eventually form a path that keeps leading them higher. This is what David is referring to here. Each step we take following our Shepherd will lead us higher, even though it may seem we are going in circles.

Pastor Ray…

So we’re not just going in circles, but we’re going higher. We just keep moving out higher and higher and higher. I love that picture. Thank You, Father.

Sometimes it might seem like you’re going round and round and like you’re on a round-about. But see yourself moving higher as you move up and move out into the power and the glory from heaven and the leading of the precious Holy Spirit that continually will lead us into higher and higher and higher and higher positions of power and God’s grace! Hallelujah.

Worthy is the name of all glory, all honor, all praise. It goes to you Lord!

(1) The Lord is my Light and my Salvation—whom shall I fear or dread? The Lord is the Refuge and Stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid?
(2) When the wicked, even my enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.
(3) Though a host encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; though war arise against me, [even then] in this will I be confident.
(4) One thing have I asked of the Lord, that will I seek, inquire for, and [insistently] require: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord [in His presence] all the days of my life, to behold and gaze upon the beauty [the sweet attractiveness and the delightful loveliness] of the Lord and to meditate, consider, and inquire in His temple.
(5) For in the day of trouble He will hide me in His shelter; in the secret place of His tent will He hide me; He will set me high upon a rock.
(6) And now shall my head be lifted up above my enemies round about me; in His tent I will offer sacrifices and shouting of joy; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the Lord.

Yesterday. We got over into a little bit more joy about things. Ms. Barb did a nice little dance across the front, a mini two step backwards (ha, ha, ha).

The joy of the Lord has to continually be working for us in order for us to walk in the high places that keep moving higher and higher. Hallelujah

(7) Hear, O Lord, when I cry aloud; have mercy and be gracious to me and answer me!
(8) You have said, Seek My face [inquire for and require My presence as your vital need]. My heart says to You, Your face (Your presence), Lord, will I seek, inquire for, and require [of necessity and on the authority of Your Word]. Psalm 27:1-8 (AMPC)

(7)The Lord is my Strength and my [impenetrable] Shield; my heart trusts in, relies on, and confidently leans on Him, and I am helped; therefore my heart greatly rejoices, and with my song will I praise Him.
(8) The Lord is their [unyielding] Strength, and He is the Stronghold of salvation to [me] His anointed.
(9) Save Your people and bless Your heritage; nourish and shepherd them and carry them forever. Psalm 28:7 (AMPC)

We’ll praise Him. We’ll honor Him, give Him glory! The Lord is our strength. He is our stronghold and He is our salvation. We’re saved. We’ve been saved. We’re continually being saved from situations that we don’t even know about. Yes! We’re saved by faith in the name. When we receive Him, we’re saved!

We will enter heaven at some point but we also are saved on this earth from all kinds of enemy debris, things the enemy has planned. They are going down and down and down and we are moving up and up and up. Hallelujah, Lord.

The Lord is my Shepherd, our Shepherd. We shall not lack or want. Surely goodness and mercy follow us all the days of our lives, not poverty or sickness or disease. But goodness and mercy follow us. All the glory, all the honor, all the praise is to You. We give you the praise. Hallelujah.

I want to read something I read this morning.

(18) Then Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine— since he was priest of God Most High
(19) and he blessed Abram and said: “Blessed be Abram by God Most High, Creator of heaven and earth,
(20) and blessed be God Most High, who has delivered your enemies into your hand.”
Then Abram gave Melchizedek a tenth of everything.
(21) The king of Sodom said to Abram, “Give me the people, but take the goods for yourself.”
(22) But Abram replied to the king of Sodom, “I have raised my hand to the LORD God Most High, Creator of heaven and earth,
(23) that I will not accept even a thread, or a strap of a sandal, or anything that belongs to you, lest you should say, ‘I have made Abram rich.’ Genesis 14:18-23 (BSB)

God gave communion first. He brought the bread and the wine and then Abraham gave a tenth to the Lord. When he gave a tenth to the Lord, he became so bold. He said, I don’t even need your help. I will not accept anything from you but what God has blessed me.

When I read that this morning, the Holy spirit said, “When you reverence my bread, the body and the blood, it’s the same thing. Tithes and offerings are a reverence to the Lord. And you read that boldness comes to you. He said, He will give to me. Hallelujah.

He is my provider. He has commanded his angels concerning me. Hallelujah!

Thank You, Father. We bless our pastors in the name of Jesus. From the top to the bottom, we speak blessing to their families. Pastor Mac, Pastor Lynn, Pastor Ray, and all the other pastors, we cover in the blood of Jesus. We declare in the name of Jesus, their families are blessed, their relationships are blessed, their finances are bad blessed, and their bodies are blessed in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Brooklyn Park MN 55428.

Pastor Ray…

Hallelujah. Should I say, “I approve this message?” Sorry, I didn’t know he was going to do that (ha, ha, ha).

I just had this in my heart, “watching over the poles, watching over the polls.”

Mary heard this morning, “No doubt, in the count.” So, a clear count, what was meant to be, shall be.

(10) In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [be empowered through your union with Him]; draw your strength from Him [that strength which His boundless might provides].

(11) Put on God’s whole armor [the armor of a heavy-armed soldier which God supplies], that you may be able successfully to stand up against [all] the strategies and the deceits of the devil. Ephesians 6:10-11 (AMPC)

What do we do? We put our armor on. We stand against any attempt that would try to bring about the count in a way that it wasn’t to be counted (you know) opposite and even remove some votes. We’ve already seen where many were thrown away. We say, “No doubt in the count.”

It has already been worked out. The enemy has been defeated. He is under our feet when we believe it by faith and we speak it! And we use what the blood of Jesus for what it has been given unto us to do and it is to remove every attempt, deceit, or the Wiles of the enemy. For the enemy was defeated on the Cross over two thousand years ago. The enemy was defeated. Jesus said, “It is finished.” If He said “It’s finished,” then it’s finished!

We rejoice in that and we rejoice that more and more godly, anointed men and women are being elected. They may have already been elected! So many people have pre-voted. Hallelujah. It is and it will continually move God’s way! It’s done. It’s finished and we rejoice in it! The United States of America is continually moving more in God’s perfect right ways, plans, ideas, future. The future is bright! And every day is getting better and every day is just sweeter.

What if it doesn’t look sweet? By faith it is sweet and every day is getting better.

We are like those sheep. They make that circle, but they keep circling higher and higher. We, the body of Christ, we’re standing up, we’re staying strong, we’re strong in the Lord. It’s not our strength or our power but we’re strong in Him. We will overcome because He overcame through the blood that was shed on our behalf.

Brother DJ…

When you talked about the peace, it reminded me how the Bible says in the book of Romans, “The peace of God will soon crush Satan under our feet.”

Pastor Ray…

Father, we thank You. We have a peace up here (pointing to his head) and Satan is under our feet.” Hallelujah. Thank You, Jesus.

Thank you for coming. Thank you for your presence that we can be corporately moving together, going in the same way. God bless your weekend. We know it will be blessed in Jesus name. Amen. Hallelujah. Thank you.
