Morning Prayer Summary for Friday, October 26, 2018

Pastor Ray shared…

I heard something in my spirit this morning. It was so clear. It was this: “I gave you the baptism of the Holy Ghost to be praying out things that you don’t know about and sometimes you’re still praying about things that were already taken care of and I had another plan for you to be praying out concerning the future.”

I was like, “Whoa!” So as an example, we talked about Judge Kavanaugh. You know how we felt like we had the victory and then we heard one guy said he wasn’t going to vote yes but then later did vote yes. It kind of tried to steal our joy of the victory. If we just look back over things like that, the victory was set and we can’t miss it by staying on what we know and not move out praying about future things.

I don’t want us to get weary in prayer. One thing I like about being away for a week is that I wasn’t in my normal routine. I didn’t watch a lot of news. That was a blessing. I got updates is all. We can get so focused in on what we hear other people say about how it will be that we can get unfocused as far as what the Word says and we’re supposed to stay in joy about it.

What I got for this morning was for us to stay strong in Him. One of the first scriptures that Brian learned was “The joy of the Lord is my strength.” Neh. 8:10. If you read that whole scripture, it’s like “Let’s have a party, get some food and some sweet drinks and celebrate for the joy of the Lord is our strength.” I love it. Anyway, I reminded him of that this morning.

In Colossians 1:3–12, “Our prayers for you are always spilling over into thanksgivings. We can’t quit thanking God our Father and Jesus our Messiah for you! We keep getting reports on your steady faith in Christ, our Jesus, and the love you continuously extend to all Christians. The lines of purpose in your lives never grow slack, tightly tied as they are to your future in heaven, kept taut by hope.

5-8 The Message is as true among you today as when you first heard it. It doesn’t diminish or weaken over time. It’s the same all over the world. The Message bears fruit and gets larger and stronger, just as it has in you. From the very first day you heard and recognized the truth of what God is doing, you’ve been hungry for more. It’s as vigorous in you now as when you learned it from our friend and close associate Epaphras. He is one reliable worker for Christ! I could always depend on him. He’s the one who told us how thoroughly love had been worked into your lives by the Spirit.

9-12 Be assured that from the first day we heard of you, we haven’t stopped praying for you, asking God to give you wise minds and spirits attuned to his will, and so acquire a thorough understanding of the ways in which God works. We pray that you’ll live well for the Master, making him proud of you as you work hard in his orchard. As you learn more and more how God works, you will learn how to do your work. We pray that you’ll have the strength to stick it out over the long haul—not the grim strength of gritting your teeth but the glory-strength God gives. It is strength that endures the unendurable and spills over into joy, thanking the Father who makes us strong enough to take part in everything bright and beautiful that he has for us.” (Message)

“We pray that you’ll have the strength to stick it out over the long haul.” That’s my whole message for this morning. Be strong. Stay strong. Stick it out. Don’t quit. Pastor Mac says, “If you don’t quit, you win.” This is the way he put it. We pray you have the strength to stick it out over the long haul, not the grim strength of gritting your teeth, but the glory strength God gives.” It’s strength that endures the unendurable and spills over into joy, thanking the Father who makes us strong enough to take part in everything bright and beautiful that he has for us.”

I love that! Okay, we’ve the mid-terms, only 11 days away. The days go by, boom, boom, boom. And we can’t and will not stop. What I heard in my spirit this morning was to stay strong, stay in joy, but stay strong in Him and in Him, we can stay in joy. Otherwise we will not be in joy if we’re running around the neighborhood trying to get people to vote red. It’s His strength and power that keeps us going. I want to be praying where I need to be praying. If the victory has already achieved in prayer, what have we got to be depressed about? Nothing.

Proverbs 8, “The name of the Lord is a strong tower. The righteous run into it and are saved.”

Neh. 8:10, “The joy of the Lord is our strength.”

Isa. 41:10, “So do not fear, for I’m with you. Do not be dismayed for I am your God. I will strengthen you and I will help you. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

Exo. 15:2, “The Lord is my strength and my song. He’s given me victory.”

Ps. 9:10, “The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble.”

Brother Copeland prophesied the nation was changing to become one nation under God but the devil is fighting that. We don’t come against flesh and blood but against the works of the enemy. He’s already defeated and we have the victory. If we get down and tired and quit, then we don’t win. Then the devil gets his way. Brother Hagin said all the junk that happened in the 60s would not have taken place if the Church would have been praying.

1st Chron. 16:11, “Seek the Lord and his strength and seek his presence continually.”

Prayed…

Thank You, Father… we pull up those stakes to put out further into the future… we’re not limited by yesterday… we’re not even limited by today… we pray over the borders of increase… call it… and declare it… that will change… that is changing… that has changed but that will change… each one of those… every single one of those… each one… all of that… clear, clear… we clear it out of the way… it’s a smoothing out… a lifting up… a bringing down… preparation time… we walk in the fullness… we go forth… ahead… moving on ahead in Jesus’ name… apprehending… clearing the path… we look forward, Father, we don’t look back… Your plan and purpose… pray out Your plan and purpose… not get stuck in the weeds… but our purpose and focus would be on You… no weapon formed against us can prosper… any tongue that rises up against us you will condemn… weapons of our warfare are not carnal… they are supernatural… circumstances, we take authority over you… no weapon can stand against us… lies and deceptions, things that hinder, we loose you out in Jesus’ name… we walk forth and take authority … we walk into those places, Father, with the anointing and grace of Your plan and purpose on our lives… we step with confidence, with purpose, with excitement… in a position of authority… and absolution… clear that up, and out of there… no more… no, you cannot, you will not in Jesus’ name… get out, get out, get out… leave!… end of things and opening for new… absolution in Jesus’ name… a position, Lord, of authority… confidence, peace and joy… absolution… knowing that we know that we know… as we walk into the room, take steps by faith, we absolutely know that we know that we know Your plan and purpose… thank You for the grace to do the work… for giving us the ability to do the work… to step out in the name… to move out on the plan and purpose… to speak out against those natural things… confidence follows us… hidden things be revealed… that will not work… deception cannot work… no lies!…

I saw something in the spirit as we were praying. When you walk into a place and you know that you know you have a confidence and a position. That’s what the authority of God is all about. It’s a confidence and a position. It’s a knowing. It’s an absolution. It’s “I know that I know that I know…” And there’s a tenacity that comes with that position of authority. It will not allow any circumstance or any negative situation. It does not put up with stuff. Circumstances may come your way. That position of authority will destroy that. And it’s a place within you that we find in our lives. It’s a place in us that the Holy Spirit by our time spent with Him in prayer, He puts that within us. He builds this place in us. He puts Him in us. Really, that’s Him. That’s the way He sees the future. That’s the way He sees your circumstances. That’s the way He sees things. He takes that which is His and shows them to us. He puts that within us in times of prayer so that when circumstances or natural things or whatever, you’re not even moved by it. You walk into the room, you know what’s going on. “I got it. You can’t convince me, man.” That is what that is. Authority of God. Because in that place when you’re got that in you, your prayer is different. You don’t pray like, “Oh Lord, help brother so and so and Lord, we really need to win this election. Oh gosh, Lord, if you could see to it to allow us to get these extra people…” That’s not a position of authority. A position of authority is praying in the Holy Ghost and getting a download from God, and getting the plan of God. When you have His plan, then you come out of that place and then you speak to the mountain, you speak to the circumstances. And it shall obey you!
