Morning Prayer Summary for Friday, March 5, 2021

Peg led group in worship…
Pastor Ray…

The name of Jesus is greater than any and every other name. The name of Jesus has authority. It has authority in heaven, authority on the earth, and under the earth. The name of Jesus has authority at the throne of God. The name of Jesus gives us authority over the demons of hell. The name of Jesus belongs to us today in the earth. For if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father, which is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in My name there am I in the midst of them. Jesus is here. He’s here to see that our prayers are answered. He’s here to honor what we say, for if we ask anything in His name, He said He’d do it. He has authorized us to use that name against our enemies; all of hell, all demons sickness and disease and oppression, depression, and sin as well. So in the name of Jesus, we are free. We’re victorious. We declare our freedom today for Jesus has set us free. And all that He’s done and all of His power and all of His authority and the might of all His conquests are invested in that name. And that name belongs to us. We’re more than conquerors through Him that loved us and gave Himself to us.

So we take that name and we declare we walk victorious. Hallelujah. Just something else about the name I read this morning from brother Hagin. He has a hardcover book on the name of Jesus. And in that book, He said the command that we… Well, he used John 3:23 and John five 5:13. John three 23, “And this is his commandment that we should believe on the name of his son Jesus Christ, and love one another as he gave us commandment.” And then John 5:13, “These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life.”

And then he said just two paragraphs…

The command that we should believe on the name of Jesus is literally this. We should believe the name.” I think this will help us.

“In John 3:23, the preposition on, or even the word in are not in the original Greek language. And in 1st John 5:23, the Greek is understood to mean that the action of the verb “believe” is directed to the word “name.” In the original text, both 1st John 3:23 and 1st John 5:13, they’re telling us to believe the name. We should believe the name. Believe it for what it stands for and for all that it means to the heart of God. There are two questions every believer ought to ask himself or herself. Number one, do I believe the name of Jesus? Number two. What does the name mean to my life? And we can see in the Acts of the apostles and in the Epistles that the early church believed the name and what it stood for in all of the activities of the first believers. The name of Jesus was the center around which everything else was built.”

And he asked this question, “What did the name mean to the early church? They lived, they worked, and they praised in that name. That name meant food. It meant clothing for them. That name meant deliverance from the hand of the enemy. That name meant power over demons and disease. That name meant worship and praise and access to God. And wrapped in that muddy name for the church was the miracle working power of the Lord Jesus Christ. Hallelujah.

So we’re lifting up that name this morning. You’ll see that’s the theme for this morning. It’s the theme for every morning here. When we gathered together. Jesus, that name above every other name. Wherever we declare and when we say it and we believe in it, we say it in faith, He is in that name. Jesus is here. He’s here in our presence. He said He would be. When we gather in agreement, Jesus is here today to work on our behalf. There’s victory in His name. All power. I like what you shared Peg all of those different things that are because of the name of Jesus. So it’s not that we can’t say “in the name of Jesus,” but that just kind of helps, like just focus on the name. The power is in the name. Healing right there. That’s the name. Jesus! Hallelujah.

So, Peg, go ahead and sing. This is a newer song. I believe you’ll be ministered by it. Thank you.

God used T.L. Osborn used him mightily in different nations all over the world. He said that if he could get to a country where the people were unreached by unbelieving preachers… It’s a weird thought. In other words, they’re coming to help, but they don’t believe in the name. They don’t believe the power that’s in the name of Jesus, He said if he could just get there before they do, then the people of these countries would always experience the miraculous power of the name. And so he said, he’d simply just preach Jesus, who He was in the four Gospels. And then he’d tell the people what He did in the Bible is what He still does today. And he didn’t even have to pray for the sick. He just declared the truth of the Word.

Kenneth Hagin said, “Once I talked to a businessman who many years ago attended one of these meetings with brother Osborn… This man saw 12 grown men demon possessed and in chains who were naked and whose hair and nails had grown so long that they looked like animals. One man crawled around on all fours barking like a dog. At least one of them had been a college professor who later lost his mind. The businessman related that when brother Osborn began to say the name Jesus, the man who’d been barking like a dog looked up and called loudly “Jesus?” Jesus? Like a question mark. And then he just said it—Jesus! Like an exclamation point. And he stood up and was delivered and restored to a normal condition because of the name. That businessman saw every one of those 12 men set free. Nobody prayed for them. Nobody cast any demons out of them. Nobody went through any kind of rigmarole as we’ve often seen when people don’t have any revelation of the power that’s behind the name. Brother Osborn simply believed and spoke the name of Jesus and all kinds of miracles were wrought.

Why don’t we see the results of that today in our country? Because of wrong teaching that’s embalmed many with unbelief. Obviously the name and all that it means has not been as real to us as it should have been. But I believe we’re honoring the name more. It’s becoming more real to us and it will become even more real as we simply take hold of the truth of God’s Word and believe the name of Jesus.

Now by that name, I want to just take a little trip morning. On Monday, we’ll be joining other churches here in the Minneapolis St. Paul area, lifting and praying over our cities, especially Minneapolis. And because next week the the trial begins concerning George Floyd’s death. And all that surrounded that then. And so there’ll be lots of ministries and churches praying for the city. Like I said, especially Minneapolis. And no matter where you’re from, last year, you saw what happened in Minneapolis. Right now, you could drive in certain areas of our cities and they’re still look the same. There are still burned out. Buildings gone. Businesses gone. Just because of the riots that took place. I was reminded of this. Years and years ago, from Living Word, we joined up with other churches and the city gave the okay for Churches to be in a parade through downtown Minneapolis. And, the car that we were all riding in, it was like back at North Hennepin. So there were less than 95 people at the church. But, one of the church members had a convertible. So we were all sitting up in the car and we had a sign in the front. “Jesus is Lord.” Down Hennepin street. That’s one of the main streets downtown Minneapolis. And we were able to go through the city and declare “Jesus is Lord.” We’ve had other meetings. We’ve had meetings by the sports arena where the Vikings play. We’ve had meetings there. And there were words declared over our city back then. We’ve had prayer meetings from Living Word. We’d go downtown every week, every Tuesday at 10 o’clock. We’d be in a building right on Hennepin Avenue and we’d pray for a couple hours or so for the city.

So this morning, I want us to just head downtown. Maybe Peggy just kind of play along with us here. And I want to get out ahead of this. We’ll be doing this on Monday, but I felt once we were in here and we began to lift up Jesus, the name… all power, all authority… the name of Jesus. So we take that name this morning. We take the anointing that’s been given unto each one of us, and we go downtown Minneapolis. Just like we’d go down and walk around through the city… walk and look around and declare “Jesus is Lord over Minneapolis.”

So we just speak those words today: “Jesus is Lord over Minneapolis.” And we plead the blood of the Lamb this morning. We get out front, we know they’re boarding things up. They’re building fences to hold the people away, but we have the blood that’s much stronger than any fence or any boarded-up building. We have the name of Jesus and the authority that’s been given us. And we come with the blood and plead the blood up and down the streets, along the river, 35 W… that bridge that goes over the Mississippi. And of course, we have prophecies that declare what will happen here in this city, in the northern part of the country. The northern part of the United States. And we declare “nothing, no weapon of the enemy can stop what God has already declared will come to pass here, Minneapolis and St. Paul.”

Oh, the blood of Jesus, the blood of Jesus, the blood of Jesus. We plead the blood all throughout the city. Hallelujah. Thank you, Father. Thank you, Lord. Over the courthouse, over every building… we walk through the buildings in Jesus’ name and declare the blood of Jesus there. We declare the blood of Jesus around businesses for protection for safety and declare what took place last year will not take place this year. Safety, protection in and through that precious blood. Jesus is Lord.

Peg, could you just sing that a little bit? You know what Minneapolis looks like. If you don’t, you can Google it. Jesus is Lord over Minneapolis…

Peg led group in singing about Minneapolis…
Pastor Ray…

Peg, let’s go to Washington now. Let’s cover that city, the capital building. I just keep sing those fences that are still there coming down! It’s the people’s place. It’s our buildings. And other political things that are happening.

Peg begins to sing…
Pastor Ray…

We take that blood this morning and we apply it around our borders beginning north, all along the northern border of the US. We take that blood and we go all the way to the right way on over and up and around and begin to go down that coastline. The blood of Jesus. We plead that blood against anything. We hold it against anything or anyone that would try to come in by water, through water in Jesus’ name. We take that blood and we go all the way down south and come up along the southern border all the way over. Those borders, Lord, we plead the blood. We plead the blood of Jesus for protection and for safety in Jesus’ name. In the name of Jesus, no weapon formed… no disease… no pandemic can come in… in Jesus’ name, No, no, no, no! We keep it going. We go all the way around. We go on the western side of our country over to Hawaii, the islands in Jesus’ name, up and around Alaska… The blood of Jesus, we pray over every state. All of the States of the United States and we declare that same thing. One nation under God, indivisible… one nation under you, Lord. We pray for some shifting today. Some eyes to be open… ears to be open. We pray for right decisions to be made. We pray over positions of authority. We plead the blood of Jesus over every single one of them, and we’re declaring it today: Right decisions that will work for our country, bring safety to our country, keep our country going more and more and more in your ways, Lord. And your plans, Lord. And like we’ve said it so many times, one thing will change America and that is an Awakening to God. So, Father, we call for a great Awakening. We pray for revivals beginning to break up, break loose, breakthrough. Come forth… in every state. You did it before… you did it before and you’ll do it again. (tongues) No man can stop it. Words of man cannot hold it back. But in Jesus’ name, we pray for that fresh outpouring of your Holy Spirit, once again. Churches would be on fire… one church after another, after another… following the call that you placed upon them in unity and in one accord… lifting up your name, the name above every other name… Jesus is Lord over America. Jesus is Lord. Over every state. We declare it… even if in some situations we haven’t seen it yet, we declare it by faith and we believe it’ll turn… miraculous turnarounds in Jesus’ name. Oh, we cover our country with the blood. We plead the blood.

Go ahead, Peg.

Peg continues to sing…
Pastor Ray…

We declare the blood of Jesus over internal body parts— hearts, lungs, kidneys—be whole, be restored… backs, pain, you’ve got to leave in Jesus’ name. Headaches, neck aches, body aches, muscle aches, whatever in Jesus’ name, be made whole… restored by the stripes at Calvary. Be healed, in Jesus’ name… be whole be healed, restored. Be made new. Be revived. Be revived… up… able to get up… able to walk again… able to do what you did before, but better… wholeness, health, prosperity of every kind, financial health, spirit, soul, body. Businesses turning around … businesses increasing in Jesus’ name… momentum where it comes to finances, increase, sudden changes, bank accounts on the increase. Hallelujah. Just the way you said it would be, Lord. Prosperous in every area, spirit, soul, and body. Well, we thank you for it today. This Friday, we thank you that things are turning, changing. Things are getting better. Things will continue on, on that better way. Better road, better highway, a higher highway, and the glory of God will manifest… the Spirit of the living God flowing through us. We are filled, refilled with fresh holy desires today. We give you all of the honor. We’re thankful to you, Father, for what you’ve done, what you’re doing. For the ways that are being changed and made right in these days… we thank you for it today, in Jesus’ name. And everyone said, “amen.”

Thank you for coming. Happy Friday! Thank you for tuning into… Bless your weekend.
