Morning Prayer Summary for Friday, March 13, 2020

Pastor Ray…

I had a couple things this morning. One this is the church, not just this church… just like it responded during 9/11, more people were in church than ever before. The churches began to fill up, because they didn’t know what was about to happen next. But we do know what’s going to happen next. There’s going to be a “turnaround.” I got that word yesterday. A turnaround. So no virus or any attack of the enemy, no weapon formed against us can stop what the Holy Spirit has to do. And what is that? Revival, an awakening, a supernatural move of the Holy Spirit all over the earth! Not just in the United States. And we’re getting a picture of the whole earth right now and what’s been happening. But we’re declaring today a turnaround. I just goggled a turnaround and it says, “an abrupt or unexpected change, esp. one that results in a more favorable situation.” Or “a sudden improvement.” That’s a turnaround. We can have a turnaround in every area—finances, whatever. Health. Wholeness. Prosperity of every kind. So we are holding fast for a turnaround.

Psalm 91 that we’ve been praying works! Because the Word of God works. So I made a copy of this. “Don’t limit God.” That’s the cover for one of Andrew Wommack’s books. We cannot limit God. The biggest thing that limits Him is fear. One of the biggest things is fear about how things will turn out. “What about this and that?” Questions based on fear can stop what God wants to do here and now. I want to read this from Andrew’s book.

Prayed…

Thank You, Holy Spirit, for your presence today. We roll out a carpet of expectation. It’s not a color… it’s a belief. And we roll it out and we expect things that we declare this morning and coming to pass. We don’t have any doubt about it when it’s based on what You’ve said, what Your Word has said… we know it’s true. And we know it will come to pass. Thank You! We honor and magnify You. We trust You and humble ourselves before You. Thank You, Father. We watch… we plead the blood and declare it everywhere… just like in the Old Testament… they overcame by the blood… the blood is working… we call those things forth… that the churches will rise up and speak Your Word… the churches will fill up… the church is increasing… a spirit of faith and grace is moving up… we call things that are not as though they are… increase… of protection and direction… yes, some things are shaking but we as the church are not shaking… we’re standing on Your Word… it shall come to pass… increase, restoration, wholeness, wellness, changes, and turnarounds… thank You, Father… we’ll not limit on You… no limits on the Word and the Holy Spirit… we yield to You for more… for restoration of the move of Your Spirit in the church… we call for it… we pray our ears hear what You’re saying… in the name of Jesus, we have overcome… no weapon formed against us can prosper… we have the blood… we hold the blood against the spirit of fear and call it down… we say to the earth “Calm down and look up from where all your help comes” … answers, solutions, help, restoration… and walking in Your love… giving out Your love… thank You, Father…

Pastor Ray…

Yesterday, Sandy and I went to visit someone from Living Word that has had an extremely bad report. They’ve not chosen to go completely with that the doctors say. Not that the doctors help. They do help, of course. They do what they can do. But she chose to go mainly with the Word of God and feeding on the Word. But she hadn’t had a lot of help from the body. She was mainly on her own. Her husband was helping but he’s not in the same place of faith. We prayed with her and had communion with her. When we came in, we hugged her. We just loved on her. I asked her to stand and told Sandy, I think you need to hug her. Something happened. It was the Holy Ghost. Sandy has a compassion that will flow through her. When she hugged this lady, there were no words spoken. It was the love of God flowing out of a compassionate heart and you could sense it in the room. The presence of the Holy Spirit came on the scene… it would make you cry. We’re standing in agreement with her that it’s the report of the Lord and not the report of the medical people that is coming to pass. We hooked up in agreement with her. When the love of God came into her, we just believed for a turnaround. It’s something you can’t make up. I’m bringing this up because we need to be so alert to what the Holy Spirit is ministering to us to do, to say, where to go. Just led by the Holy Spirit.

Continued praying…

Holy Spirit, we say yes to the move of God… and begin to see things move away and out and come to nothing… suddenlies… change…

In describing turnaround, it said “an unexpected change,” but we say “we expect the change.” We’re not just playing church. We are standing in faith, calling things that be not as though they were.

Pastor Ray…

Let me read these things from Andrew Wommack. This is from the book, “Do Not Limit God.”

Some years ago I had a dream. In this dream, I saw a banner with Psalm 46:10 on it, but for the life of me I could not remember what the verse said. I’ve quoted that verse 100s of times but I couldn’t remember what it said that day. So when I woke up, I looked up the scripture and it said, “Be still and know that I am God.” I didn’t know exactly what the scripture meant but I thought, “Well, just in case, I’m going to be still and I’m not going to move.” I went outside and sat on my deck and I never moved. A deer came up to me and stared me right in the face. Chipmunks came and sat on my feet and climbed up my legs. I watched thousands of ants crawl everywhere. I heard birds flying and the wind blowing. I did not notice these things before. But once I became still I realized that this activity was going on around me constantly. Before I would get so busy that I would miss it. We’re completely oblivious to these things because of our busy lifestyles. Likewise, in the spiritual realm, God is constantly speaking… just to a few people? No. He’s speaking to us all. Many people don’t like to get still because when they do, it’s like there’s a homing device or a beeper that goes off inside them and they begin to think, “Is this all there is?” Or “Is this all my life is meant to be?” “Is there something more?” “Am I really doing what God called me to do?” Most people are uncomfortable with these questions and don’t want to deal with them, so they drown them out. This keeps them from hearing the voice of God. Our lifestyles are so busy that we often talk about how busy we are. If we have any extra time, we fill it with something. We multi-task and brag about how we can do multiple things at one time. Rather than boasting about our busyness, we need to get to a place in our lives where it is conducive to hearing God’s voice. Jesus separated His disciples and told them to come apart and rest awhile, Mark 6:31. Jesus went into the desert to rest but the crowds followed Him around the lake and wouldn’t let Him rest. So He stayed up all night praying, Matt. 14. Jesus was recharging His spiritual batteries by communing with His Father. This was more important to Him than sleep. If Jesus needed to separate, to come apart and rest for a while and He told His disciples to rest a while, then we need to follow His example and do the same.

Pastor Ray …

It just takes a little while to tune into the “channel” where we can hear His words. I believe every time when we speak in other tongues, it’s another way of actually resting in Him because we’re tuning into heaven, praying things out that we don’t know about. There is no limit. We can be praying in this chapel for somebody in another part of the earth. We don’t know everything that we pray about. We do know some things, of course. We pray about those things.

I’m getting this… bring things together in a more cohesive way where things are going in the right way… bringing those things together, like paradigm shifts or a change of mind or heart. Able to see things in a different light, where it brings people together. Not just in the church but people all over the world, bringing them together with more of a voice from heaven. More tuned into heaven’s ways. That would be called revival. Nothing that man can say or so, or the devil can do, can stop the Holy Spirit given revival. An awakening. We know the Word tells us it will be the former and latter rain together… an awakening will move across the earth.

Lord, You did it before, many things before. You move in this church in a revival for years and things were different and changed. We want what You want us to have now. Like we said at the beginning, we’ve rolled out our “carpet of expectation.” We expect it. Like Pastor Mac said last weekend, all along the history of our church whenever we were about to step over into a different territory, step up so to speak, there would be a lot of warfare. There would be warfare against us. So as a church, when we’ve stepped over into the land of more than enough healing… revelation… finances… everything that God has already done for us through His Son on the cross. More than enough! There’s warfare against it, trying to get us to go back. We’re not going back.

Andrew cont…

We have to change the way we think. We need to study the Word and imagine the truths that God has given us until they paint a picture on the inside of us until we see ourselves healthy, righteous, full of peace, and full of joy. We can never see anything happen on the outside unless we see it happen on the inside first.

Pastor Ray…

I see this virus coming down. I don’t see it any other way. I see it shrinking. I see it over. I see us on the other side of it. I see the markets going way up. I see the fear going away. I see it. I see it in my heart. I can see the times and days when the media starts speaking the truth about how things really are and not lying about it and not trying to stir up fear.

Andrew cont…

Many of you are praying for big things to happen. Maybe it could be restoration in your marriage, healing in your body, or prosperity in your finances. You’re praying for these things but you can’t see them. And it’s frustrating. But if you’ll just meditate on the Word and allow it to paint a picture on the inside of you, it will come to pass. As a man thinks in his heart, so is he. That’s Proverbs 23:7. Paul said we walk by faith not by sight, 2nd Corinthians. As a Christian, your imagination should paint such a real picture that you live by what the Word says more than you live by what you can see with your physical eyes. You can do that. You have God almighty living on the inside of you. Are you picturing what God’s Word says about you? Can you see yourself healed? Can you see yourself prosperous? Can you see yourself doing the miracles Jesus did? If not, you need to meditate on what the Word of God says until you can see yourself doing these things. You need to change the way you see yourself. You need to see yourself as God sees you. You need to take the limits off and engage your imagination in order to see God’s will for your life come to pass.

Before I saw anything happen on the outside, I had to see that happen on the inside. Jesus said he that believeth on Me, the works that I do shall he do also and greater works than these shall he do. John 14:12. I began the process of seeing things on the inside by meditating on every scripture where Jesus healed somebody or raised somebody from the dead. Then I closed my Bible, shut my eyes, and I saw myself raising Lazarus from the dead. I saw myself raising Jairus’ daughter from the dead. Everything Jesus did, I saw myself do. I pictured what it would look like when Jesus said, “Take ye away the stone.” I was engaging my imagination. I began believing it was possible to see people raised from the dead. After reading what Jesus said in the Gospel of John, this inspired me to believe that God would do miracles through me. I thought about all of the miracles Jesus performed and said, “Father, can I raise somebody from the dead?” I meditated on this so much that I raised a dozen people from the dead every night in my dreams. I had dreams about going into morgues and emptying them out. After about six months, I actually saw a person raised from the dead with my physical eyes. But then ten or fifteen years went by before I saw this again. One day, I again felt inspired by God to start imagining people being raised from the dead. And pretty soon, I was dreaming about it again. Then one night, I got a phone call that my son had died. He had been dead for 4 ½ hours when I received the call. I just started thanking God for His goodness and magnifying Him above the circumstances. By the time I arrived at the hospital, my son had come back to life! But it would not have happened if I hadn’t been meditating on and imagining God raising from the dead power.

Pastor Ray…

There is a lot more to the story, but his son came back to life! He was dead for 4 ½ hours when he got the call.

Andrew…

Before you see something on the outside, you have to see it on the inside. It has to become so real to you that you see yourself doing it. You won’t see the miracle power of God if you’re defeated or discouraged or depressed in your imagination. Stop limiting God with your imagination. Resurrect your imagination and start using it in a positive way.

Pastor Ray…

Thank You, Lord… today, we see it and we seize it, the full plan and purpose of the will of God for us individually and corporately… we declare new days… better and fuller days… baptized to a greater degree… more and more and more filled with the power of Your precious Holy Spirit… so much so we can’t help ourselves but to lay our hands on somebody else… to declare over someone else prosperity in every area… we’re opening ourselves up to it… we open our hearts and expectation… we believe it… therefore we receive it and by faith we accept it…

In light of all that, I’ll pray down Psalm 91. This is the Good News translation.

Whoever goes to the Lord for safety, whoever remains under the protection of the Almighty, can say to him, “You are my defender and protector. You are my God; in you I trust.” He will keep you safe from all hidden dangers and from all deadly diseases. He will cover you with his wings; you will be safe in his care; his faithfulness will protect and defend you.  You need not fear any dangers at night or sudden attacks during the day 6 or the plagues that strike in the dark or the evils that kill in daylight. A thousand may fall dead beside you, ten thousand all around you, but you will not be harmed. You will look and see how the wicked are punished. You have made the Lord your[a] defender, the Most High your protector, 10 and so no disaster will strike you, no violence will come near your home. 11 God will put his angels in charge of you to protect you wherever you go. 12 They will hold you up with their hands to keep you from hurting your feet on the stones. 13 You will trample down lions and snakes, fierce lions and poisonous snakes. 14 God says, “I will save those who love me and will protect those who acknowledge me as Lord. 15 When they call to me, I will answer them; when they are in trouble, I will be with them. I will rescue them and honor them. I will reward them with long life; I will save them.”
