Morning Prayer Summary for Friday, June 5, 2020

Pastor Ray…

We worship You, Lord. We honor and welcome Your presence this morning. In You, we have overcome because You overcame. Today, we yield to Your presence. We humble ourselves before You. We put all our hope in You. You are our strength.

Good morning. I have a couple scriptures to share, beginning in Romans 8:27, “And He Who searches the hearts of men knows what is in the mind of the [Holy] Spirit [what His intent is], because the Spirit intercedes and pleads [before God] in behalf of the saints according to and in harmony with God’s will” (Amp.).

We can’t lose with that. Verse 28 says, “We are assured and know that [God being a partner in their labor] all things work together and are [fitting into a plan] for good to and for those who love God and are called according to [His] design and purpose.”

The Word makes it clear that whatever the enemy meant for evil, He’ll turn it around. I was reminded of a scene I saw on a highway years ago. A car went off the highway and into the water, and right as I was driving by, they carried out this little boy and he was dead. There are scenes throughout our lives that we have to allow the Holy Spirit to bring that comfort and the presence that changes things so we don’t focus all the time on things we seen. We’ve seen so many things in the past weeks and months, and we must keep our attention where it needs to be. And that’s on Him! The Lord of all lords, creator of the universe.

The Holy Spirit is the comforter. I wanted to read a couple scriptures concerning comfort.

“It’s the Lord who goes before you, he’ll be with you. He will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear and do not be dismayed.” Deut. 31:8

These are all choices, of course. And it’s by faith we receive these things.

Psalm 23:4, “Yes, though I walk through the [deep, sunless] valley of the shadow of death, I will fear or dread no evil, for You are with me; Your rod [to protect] and Your staff [to guide], they comfort me.” We receive that, right now. The comfort of Your Holy Spirit.

Job 5:11, “So that He sets on high those who are lowly, and those who mourn He lifts to safety.”

Lam. 3:22, “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; 23 they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness” (ESV). He’s faithful. I love that. The steadfast love of the Lord. He loved us so much, He sent His only Son. Sometimes it’s hard to wrap our minds around these things. But they’re true. His mercies never come to an end. And this morning, they’re new and He’s faithful.

John 14:27, “Peace I leave with you; My [own] peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid” (Amp.). Let’s use these words in faith, knowing they’re not man’s words. They are God’s words to us. Let’s receive it.

“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”

2 Cor. 1:3, “Blessed by the God the father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the father of mercies and God of all comfort.”

Ps. 119:76, “Let your steadfast love comfort me…” comfort us… comfort America.

John 16:33, “I said these things to you that in Me you may have peace.”

Pastor Tim…

Peace, peace, wonderful peace coming down from the Father abovewe love you, Lord, I will rejoice  ♪

Pastor Ray…

Thank You, Lord. We have peace in You. In the world, there is tribulation, but take heart, I have overcome the world. That means “all” tribulation. Comfort, comfort, comfort of the precious Holy Spirit today.

Isaiah 49:13, “Sing for joy, O heavens, and be joyful, O earth, and break forth into singing, O mountains! For the Lord has comforted His people and will have compassion upon His afflicted.”

Matthew 5:4, ““Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.”
Pastor Tim…

He’s turning around … You take what the enemy meant for evil… you turn it around … ♪

Pastor Ray…

I read this from Kenneth Hagin. I remember reading this again right after 9/11. We thought, “Wow, he’s prophesying about that, things that were taking place in America.”

Kenneth Hagin
October 1, 1974

“No, the time of the end is not yet. No, America is not doomed,” I heard Him say. “No, judgment will not fall as yet.

“And let not your heart be fearful nor let it be afraid, for there shall come and on the scene… he has already arisen, one who shall respond unto the things of God and whose heart will be open toward God. And your nation that seemed to be cut down to the roots, and the wild birds and the fowls of the air came and roosted in her branches and did much disrepute unto the nation. Yet that shall all be repaired because this man shall say, ‘I will walk in the way of God. I will trust also in Him.’ And he shall be at the head and many shall follow him. And the work of God shall be consummated and must be consummated in other nations before I come.”

“So be not fearful, nor cast thy glance around about and become askant [suspicious]. But look ye up unto Him, for He is the head of the Church. And through the Church, the head will manifest Himself. And men are the hands of the Lord, and the hands are in the body. And He shall stretch forth His hands to heal the sick, that signs and wonders shall be wrought in the name of the Holy Child Jesus.

Pastor Ray…

This morning, I felt that we need to take hold to a greater degree of the Comforter and receive Him and let that manifested presence just… consume us. Even one touch, like we’ve heard so many times, of His presence changes everything. We’re changed in His presence. That’s what we want, and we’re so hungry for it, Lord. We want Your presence for the globe, all over the earth. The glory and presence of God manifested like a cloud, covering and bringing change that must come … now. Go ahead, Pastor Tim.

Pastor Tim …

We declare this by faith. As we look unto the Lord. We can say with confidence, “He is good. And it’s going to get better for us that know Him.”

Every day is sweeter… every day is better…   ♪

Pastor Ray…

Tim, I feel like your voice is singing one thing but your notes are saying other things. The notes coming out of the piano are, of course, connected to what you’ve been singing, but the notes also are saying some things that you’re not saying. Ha, ha, ha… and it brings about great hope because notes by the Spirit can come in … the precious anointing of the Holy Spirit and revive and restore and renew and turn and change, rearrange and make new. Ohhh… (singing in the spirit) Maybe you should sing in other tongues a little bit more, Tim.

Pastor Tim began to sing in the spirit…
