Peg led group in worship…

DJ led prayer…

Thank you, Father. We praise you. We give you praise. Hallelujah. Your rod and your staff comfort us. You prepare a table in the presence of our enemies… because enemies defeated… you anointed our head with oil, that our cup overflow … surely goodness and mercy follow us all our life… We shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever and forever… surely goodness and mercy shall follow us… He shall command His angels concerning us to guide us… the way we should go. We will not dash your foot against a stone… greater is he who is in us, the Christ in us, the hope of glory, the Christ in us, the power of God… the wisdom of God… The joy of the Lord … the peace of God … therefore put on the whole armor of God… the helmet of salvation, the breastplate of righteousness, and the shield of faith and the sword of the spirit… your enemy is a roaring lion looking to and fro … looking for whom he may devour, but he cannot devour you. He cannot devour us because we are covered in the blood of Jesus … oh my soul, forget not all His benefits…  who forgive all our sins… and heals us from every disease… Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law. We are redeemed from the curse of sickness…  into abundance, into blessing into good health … it is His will that we prosper and be in good health as our souls prosper and good health…  the Spirit of the Lord is upon us… He has anointed us to preach the good news… we are anointed… we are anointed … you are anointed …  the good news … you don’t have to be poor… you don’t have to be sick… so rejoice. I say rejoice in the Lord. Rejoice, rejoice… be glad… bless the Lord all the time… His praises shall be in my mouth… I was glad when they said, let us go into the house of the Lord… oh, magnify the Lord with me… come, magnify Him together… I am strong … And let the weak say I am strong and let the poor say I am rich … for what the Lord has done for us… we give you thanks this morning, Lord…

This morning, Cindy has some something to read.

Cindy…

It’s July 23rd. And I remember that every 23rd you go through the Psalm 23, the Lord is our shepherd, we shall not want. So I’m just going to read that really quick second. Because the Lord was showing me something about that Psalm the other day, and I was sharing it with you about the life that we live is in Christ. He is our shepherd and He leads us every day. And that’s where we want to be in that place where we’re hearing His voice and the voice of the world is drowned … it’s static in the background.

“So the Lord is my shepherd. I shall not want, he makes me to lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil for you are with me, your rod and your staff, they comfort me.”

Despite everything that’s going on around us, this is the valley of the shadow of death because the world is full of darkness and we’re walking through it and we want to walk through confident of the fact that He’s in us, He’s leading us. His Word to us is like money in the bank. We have confidence. But it’s treasure just to hear His voice and be led by Him and to know that even if all this stuff is going on around us, He’s prepared a table before us in the very presence of those enemies.

“You anoint our head with oil and our cup runs over, surely goodness and mercy … that’s a surety … that’s money in the bank. That’s confidence. That’s boldness. It’s an assured welcome of His good favor and His blessing that He’s blessed you with. Surely, goodness and mercy follow us all the days of our life. And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”

We dwell in His presence forever, practicing His presence, just deferring to Him and everything, talking to Him and having that sweet communion with Him and knowing that He’s leading us in whatever He leads us in… And I love this. He makes us to lie down.

So in the word of faith, you know, we say, “Well, God can’t make us do anything without us being in agreement with Him or somehow, He would make us rich. She would make us healed. But He would make us walk it out. He wants to give us all these things and sometimes we’re like, “Well, where are they? I’ve been praying and whatever.” But He’s our shepherd. Whatever He tells you to do, do it. And when you do it, He’ll make you to have a rest. I love that. He makes you to lie down. So listen to what He’s telling you and do it, even though shadows of darkness are coming and false witnesses such as breathe out violence, do it. And even knowing that He’s prepared a place of strength and understanding, and He’s saying, sit down on the table and rest. Because you chose to listen to me, because you chose to step out and do the crazy thing that the world is trying to get you not to do because it’s the glory of God that’s going to come up on the other end of that obedience … because of that, He’s going to make you to have such peace in the midst of turmoil and what the world is shaking and you’re just solid. And then the world is sees that there is a standard. That there is a God. I got to just go along to get along. Nope! You don’t. Because people who are dwelling with God, they realize that He is the shepherd and He’s leading them and guiding them and it’s for a purpose. And it’s so that we can display His glory to the world that was created to know and display that glory.

So we thank you, Father, that today is Psalms 23 and we are led by your Spirit. We’re going forth, Father, in that confidence that comes. Maybe it’s a shaky step. But then right when you start to be led, He makes you to lie down in that peaceful place and you walk it out. Every step gets brighter and brighter and brighter. And confidence is building. And then these things start to fall off. These contradictions, these things that oppose and come against the knowledge of who you are and who you are in this world. So we just thank you, Father, for your ways revealed. Your ways are simple and delightful and easy. We lean into them and we see the difference. We see the difference it makes in abiding in that secret place and then doing whatever you tell us to do. This life of faith that pleases you, Lord, it’s impossible to please the Lord without this trusting. We thank you, Lord, that even right now, faith is rising up. The spirit of faith is rising up. We are stepping out in the obedience of faith…

I just keep hearing it is so, it is so, it is so, it is so, it is so, it is so, it is so that you have the victory in me. It is so that I am the king of all creation. It is so that there is no fear. There is no lack. It is so that you are called by my name… It is so that I have a destiny, a purpose, a plan for you. It is so that you shall not fail as you walk. It is so that you shall not fall when you walk with me. It is so that you shall stand and you shall see the mercies of God. You shall see the glory of God. You shall see His greatness upon this earth as I put my foot upon this earth, you shall see my greatness explode upon the face of this earth. It is so that you shall see. So do not fear, do not fret, because you shall see and you shall go and it shall be amazing. It shall be wonderful. You shall see the glory of the Lord that’s been promised to flood this earth. You shall see it come to pass. Just like it’s been said. You shall see it and you shall go and you shall know and you shall so my glory to all that you come across.

Barb…

Thank you, Jesus… Yes, thank you, Father. Yes. He says rest assured … rest assured that I will perform my Word in your life. Rest, rest assured … there’s a rest… there’s a rest that comes … He makes you to lie down so that you can rest assured in His promise.

When I was sitting there and Cindy said that the Lord showed me…

I have two cats at home and one is a very friendly cat, loves attention all the time. The other cat is a little skiddish and so cute. Everybody always wants to hold the cat, but it doesn’t want to be held. And so the Lord just instantly showed me my daughter. She’ll pick up the cat and the [makes hissing noise] And she will grab that cat and she pulls it in until he submits. I mean no mercy, like “you’re being held, whether you want to be held or not.” And she just holds him down and then he settles down and he rests and then she can lift her arms up and he’ll just lay on her chest. Just peaceful. It’s miraculous. But that’s what God, you know, when He makes us… It’s like, “Come on! I told you to rest. I told you to rest. I’m going to perform it. I’m going to do it for you. All you have to do… Come here, my child, come on, relax, relax.” And we’re like, “Ahhh, I don’t want to, I gotta do this. I gotta run over here. I gotta, I gotta do.” And He’s going, “come on, let me do this for you. Rest.” And so He just holds you and hold you and you begin to relax. You begin to relax in the Holy Spirit because what is faith? Trusting in Him. And then you just get to rest in that place. And you have that comfort of the Holy Spirit that comes… that place of peace that comes to you. And you can rest assured that He will perform His Word for you. He will not ever fail you. He will never… it is impossible for Him to fail. That’s the only thing He can’t do. He can’t fail! He will never, never, ever fail you. The rock of our salvation! The rock, a firm foundation. Thank you, Jesus. We’re so grateful. We’re so grateful to you. We rest in you today.

We will never be put to shame for believing in your Word, for honoring you with our lives. For honoring you with our finances, for honoring you with our families, Father, with our businesses… we will never be put to shame for putting you first, for loving you with all of our hearts… we will never, never be put to shame …

Barb…

We will finish our course with joy. In fact, He will cause us to finish our course with joy… for He will cause us to fulfill the plan that He has set before us. He will cause us to walk out every step that He has prepared for us. He will cause us to prosper. He will cause us to prosper. He will cause us to rise up in the midst of the storm. In the midst of the battle. He will cause us to rise up and overcome. He will cause us to rise up and overcome.
