Morning Prayer Summary for Friday, April 9, 2021

Pastor Ray…

Good morning. I wanted to just share one thing. I thought it’d be good for us to just remind ourselves about this in Ephesian 6:10. It’s putting our armor on, but I love how the Passion translation says it. “Now my beloved ones, I have saved these most important truths for last: Be supernaturally infused with strength through your life-union with the Lord Jesus. Stand victorious with the force[i] of his explosive power flowing in and through you.” All week we’ve been in our Holy Ghost series. We want to know more. We want to experience more. After he says this… So, you know, “stand victorious, put on God’s complete set of armor provided for us so that you’ll be protected as you fight against the evil strategies of the accuser.”

There are some strategies and there’s some accusing going on.

“Your hand-to-hand combat is not with human beings, but with the highest principalities and authorities operating in rebellion under the heavenly realms. For they are a powerful class of demon-gods and evil spirits that hold this dark world in bondage. 13 Because of this, you must wear all the armor that God provides so you’re protected as you confront the slanderer…”

We’re in a war and we win. Let’s just keep that in our minds. Thank you, Lord.

“for you are destined for all things and will rise victorious.”

So when we wear all the armor, we’re destined for all things and will rise victorious.

“Put on truth as a belt to strengthen you to stand in triumph, put on holiness as the protective armor that covers your heart.” You know, our hearts have to be so covered. So I love that. Just put on holiness. Stay in a holy place with the protective armor that will cover our heart. Stand on your feet alert. Be awake. Be up. That’s not in here. Just stay alert. Then you’ll always be ready to share the blessings of peace in every battle. Take faith as your wrap-around shield. I liked the way that says that: a wrap-around shield all the way around us.

Ooh, thank you, Lord. Thank you, Father.

So in every battle, we take faith, we use our faith. We believe. “For that shield is able to extinguish the blazing arrows coming at you, from the devil, the evil one. Embrace the power of salvation, full deliverance, like a helmet to protect your thoughts from lies and take the mighty razor sharp spirit sword of the spoken word of God, and also pray passionately in the Spirit as you constantly intercede with every form of prayer at all times. Pray the blessings of God upon all his believers. We pray the blessings of God over the church, over the whole body of Christ all over the earth. Thank you, Lord, for the power that you you’ve brought to bear in your children’s lives, the leaders that lead others, all of the different ministries. They persevere. They stand strong. They’re covered in the blood. By faith, they’re wrapped around with protection around them, which protects from all of the enemies evil ways. And this mentioned in here, the lies… over every lie. There are so many things that the enemy tries to bring against us personally. We’re up here in our brains. It’s like thoughts. Well, what about this? What about that? We overcome because He overcame and we have the blood and we declare in the name we are a victorious people because we’re the king’s kids. We’re royalty. Hallelujah.

Thank you, Lord. It’s just good to remind ourselves to stay protected, put on the armor, and keep it on. Hallelujah. Peg, why don’t you go ahead. Thank you, Lord.

When Pastor Ray was just reading it, I kept hearing “accusation.” There are times when we go to take dominion pretty much every time you’re going to face accusation. Regardless. You’re going to face accusation from the familiar. You’re going to face accusation from the opposition. You might even face accusation from those that seem like they’re in authority, a false authority, maybe not the authority that God put over you, but maybe a false authority. And so I’m thinking about David and Goliath. David killed the lion and the bear in the secret place, in intimacy with God. And it led to dominion and it not only led to dominion, it led to the freedom of a nation. But in the meantime, he had to face accusation from the familiar, from the enemy, and from false authority. So he goes into the camp and he asks the question, “What’s the reward for killing this enemy?” And then he says, “Who is this enemy? He’s defying the armies of the living God.” And he received accusation from his brothers. And even if you search the Word, you’ll notice that none of David’s mighty men we’re his brothers. So here he is in the secret place with God tending to the sheep, killing the lion and the bear, getting confident in his relationship and then the intimacy with the Father. And then all of a sudden, he finds himself in a situation where the enemy is showing up and everyone’s afraid. But it doesn’t even occur to David because he’s already killed his enemies in intimacy with the Father. And so when the accusation comes from his brothers, his brothers even accused him of an evil heart. And then the Word says that David’s question the question of “who is he? Who is this uncircumcised Philistine that’s defying the armies of the living God? It says that his question reached Saul’s ears. Because there are those that are waiting to hear you say, “we can take out the enemy.” And they will seek you out.

And Isaiah, it says the nations will come to the rising, the rising of the glory upon us. Romans eight says that the earth is crying out for us to know who we are. And here’s David who knows who he is. And Saul seeks him out. David wasn’t even in the army; he was just awake and Saul sought him out. But even when Saul sought him out, Saul said, “You need to wear my armor.” But David, because he was coming from the secret place said, “No, I’m not going to do that either.” There were so many opportunities for David to be deterred. And then he faces the enemy, and the enemy, Goliath, whom everyone was afraid of… So he had all that fear agreement. Imagine us, how much agreement do we have with fear right now? Is it everywhere?

But David, because he knew he’d killed the lion and the bear, because he’d been in the secret place, because he lived from that place, he spoke to that enemy without armor that didn’t fit him, without his brother’s approval. And he spoke to that enemy and he said, “This day I will defeat you.”

And Church, this is that day. So we will not allow fear to tell us that we’re helpless. David brought dominion and freedom in the secret place. So even today we pray, we contend from the secret place. In fact, David told his enemy, “I have killed the lion. I have killed the bear, and today I will defeat you.” And that’s you!

David had to walk away from the familiar because none of his brothers were in the army of David’s mighty men.

Pastor Ray…

I love that. That reminds me Reese Howells. Maybe you’ve never read his book, but he actually went… It’s sort of like killing the lion, the bear, whatever. But he actually… His family thought he was nuts. People thought he was crazy, but in the natural, he gave up everything. And I just remember this one thing. He did a lot of his prayer work in England, but he was invited to be in a parade. And at that time back then, no man would be in the public without a hat on. Every man had a hat on. If you didn’t, it was a disgrace. And the Lord told him “don’t wear a hat in the parade.” If you read his story of his life, he went through one thing after another, after another, in that secret place with Him. And He would keep telling him to do this or don’t do that. And he yielded to it. He obeyed it and it led up to a place where he actually daily came against Hitler. So just like here, he had a prayer team. They’d meet every day. There was no Internet. There were no cell phones. There was just the newspaper. They would get praying and they would take authority and hold that blood against the evil driven spirit that was operating through Hitler. And then they’d read about it in the newspapers, battles that were won, how he was pushed back.

But they kept persistently praying because he knew he had the authority, and he went through different things so that he could look back and see, “I obeyed you back there, Lord. I did this, I did that.” And it gave him a sense of supernatural power and strength in the face of nations where Hitler was trying to take over the world.

David was a man after God’s own heart. And that’s what we want to be too. Right? Let me read this one thing. I thought this was really good and it goes along with this. This is from AW Tosier. He said, “If you could increase the attendance of a church until there’s just no more room, there’s no chairs left. If you could provide everything they have in churches that men want and love and value and yet you didn’t have the Holy Spirit, you might as well have nothing at all. For it is not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit says the Holy Spirit in this hour.”

It’s not by our power, not by our might, but by the power of the Holy Spirit. I love that David spoke forth the victory before he step into it. He just spoke to that giant. This is what I’m going to do and by the power of the Holy Spirit, he did it. And we’ve read a couple other men, women of God this week, but the Holy Spirit is a person. And that’s one of the ongoing themes that we’ve read about this week. He’s not enthusiasm. You know where we might say, “Oh, that person is just so up. He must be…” It can be the Holy Spirit, of course, but it’s not enthusiasm. He’s not courage. He is not energy. He is not the personification of all good qualities. Like Jack Frost as the personification of cold weather. Actually the Holy Spirit is not the personification of anything. He’s a person. The same as you are a person but not material substance. He has individuality. He is one being and not another. He has a will. He has intelligence. He has hearing. He has knowledge. He has sympathy. He has an ability to love and see and think. He can hear, He can speak, He can desire, He does desire, He grieves, He rejoices. He is a person, the person of the Holy Spirit.

You cannot overstate the necessity of the Holy Spirit in the Church. If you say it according to the scriptures for without the Spirit, there can be nothing done for eternity. Many persons preach, many might teach, many take part in the music, certain ones try to administer the Word of God, but if the power of God’s Spirit does not have freedom to energize all they do, these workers might just as well have stayed home. Wow! That’s how much we need the Holy Spirit. We yield to you. We yield ourselves to you again this morning.

He said, “you could write down this fact, no matter what a man does, no matter how successful he seems to be in any field, whatever it might be. If the Holy Spirit is not the chief energizer of his activity, it will all fall apart when he dies. When that man leaves, it’s finished. If it’s not based on the Holy Spirit.

Just let it sink in right now that even in the secret place you’re being prepared to carry His glory, to carry His nothing… Nothing, nothing is impossible. Right here, right now, we just receive nothing is impossible, but all things are possible with you. We receive that we belong in the impossible. We belong in there. Because we carry the possible. We just receive that now.

Pastor Ray…

Second Corinthians 3:6 says “It is he who has qualified us, making us to be fit and worthy and sufficient as ministers and dispensers of a new covenant of salvation through Christ, not ministers of the letter of legally written code, but by the Spirit. For the code of the law kills, but the Holy Spirit makes alive.” Verse 17, “Now the Lord is the Spirit and where the Spirit of the Lord is there’s liberty. There is emancipation from bondage, there’s freedom and all of us as with unveiled face, because we continued to behold in the word of God as in a mirror, the glory of the Lord are constantly being transfigured into His very own image, in ever-increasing splendor and from one degree of glory to another, for this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit. Therefore, since we do hold and engage in this ministry by the mercy of God, granting us favor, benefits, opportunities, and especially salvation, we do not get discouraged. We do not get spiritless and despondent with fear or become faint with weariness and exhaustion.”

Prayed…

Father in Jesus’ name, we stand together in the army and we take our place this morning. We stand in those positions that you’ve called us to, and we lift up the whole body this morning. And where it seems like there’s been an absolute war of attrition, we hold the blood against that and we push back with the precious holy blood. Today we take that blood. We see the cross. We see what you did. Again, we remind ourselves of that blood that was shed on that cross for each one of us here, right here, right now in this year, 2021, we stand with the blood. We believe in the blood. We declare the precious blood and push back against all those situations in that war. And those lies of the enemy. I curse those lies, get out, get away. We command you, get out of the way for this army is the army of the Lord God. And He overcame so we could overcome. And so we push ahead this morning and we contend for what must be contended for. Victory, wholeness, wellness.

We come up against that war. Stop in your maneuvers in Jesus’ name. Stop! We resist you. We call you down. We call you out. In the name of Jesus, we declare a complete turnaround … turning things around … restoration and wholeness… Oh, doors of opportunity… Right there. Oh yeah. Thank you, Father. You’ve already provided, and it shall come to pass. (tongues) This is what I hear. It’s getting closer, getting closer. Thank you. Oh, we resist things that have been held back. We resist it, where we know it is the will of God. It’s written in the Word of God. We resist delay of any kind in Jesus’ name. Thank you, Father. Go ahead.

Open, open, open, open, often … impossibilities turning around… Paradigm shift… a change in the very atmosphere. Oh, an alignment is Jesus’ name… hallelujah.

Dar shared word…

So it is time to take your place. It is time more than ever before. It is critical that you spend time in My presence. Like My King David did in the secret place. Do not let the things of your life or this world around you deter you from My presence. In My presence, there is fullness of joy. With all else that you need you are equipped in the word of My testimony and My presence. There is power in anointing in My presence. There’s peace of joy, but there is also great wisdom and knowledge and equipping. And these days I did many signs and wonders and miracles that you read of and tell of, but did I not say that when I go away, you will do greater things than these because I go to My Father? Know the weapons of warfare that I have given you, keep that armor of God on and know your power and authority. And know My presence. Be still and know that I am your God. Know, that this is a time when you need to step forth and trust Me. You need to step forth and listen to Me. Practice hearing My voice and My Word in My presence. I have many messages and many assignments and much instruction for you, My people. In this day and this age, you shall go forth and it is My signs and wonders that will win the world. It is My miracles. You must go forth and trust as David did. You must go forth with expectation and confidence as David did. But it’s found in My presence. Power is found in My presence, equipping, wisdom and knowledge and anointing. This is the day. This is the time for signs and wonders and miracles that this world will be changed upside down from top to bottom. A paradigm shift is coming by My presence that is being manifest in you. It is in you and through you, I have left the work and My power for you to accomplish in these last days. All that I have planned for the increase and the complete glory of My presence, says the Lord. Be in My presence and be still and know that I am God. And then go forth as David did with not only hope and expectation, but a great testimony of conviction and confidence, knowing that I was his God, his mighty God who never fails, who conquers and defeats all enemies. And so shall you says the Lord. Spend time with Me in My presence.

So Dar gave that word at 911… nine one one. That’s an urgent word. Whew!

Pastor Ray…

Whew! I was thinking seven, seven, seven. Literally. Whew. Thank you, Lord.

Peg continued…

So it seems like some of you are thinking, “Well, I didn’t do this. I didn’t do that. I didn’t obey here. How could this possibly be a time for me to enter in and win right now?” So David didn’t go to war when he was supposed to. He ended up with Bathsheba, but that union brought Solomon who built the house of God. So David was a man after God’s own heart, even when he didn’t go to war when he should have. And you are a son and daughter of God even when you didn’t go to war, when you should have. It’s not too late to build the house of God. (tongues)

It’s about to get really good. Jump in and build the house of God. David, you really don’t have a reason when you look at David. You have no excuse to be ashamed. Just build the house of God.

Pastor Ray…

While you were saying that, I saw in my spirit arrows. Not the arrows of the enemy, but arrows that were pointed toward churches, ministries. I saw worldwide, like if you’d see the globe. And there were arrows pointing at specific places where the Holy Spirit needed to move more than ever before. Kind of like that. So when we pray and we lift up His name and we believe by faith there’s no limit no boundaries. There’s no distance in the realm of the spirit. So when we say, we lift and we pray over your body, Lord, we pray over different ministries, pastors, all of the gifts of evangelists, teachers, all of them… We see that you’re pointing the arrow from heaven, the power of your precious Holy Spirit toward those. Then there are many speaking of 911. There are some that are in that 911 situations… even where some have just about given up and given in, thrown in the towel. Don’t throw in the towel! Stand up, rise up. God’s arrow of the Holy Ghost is pointing toward you. And you are about to get a breakthrough! A breakthrough over into that realm of 777, an abundance, an overflowing power from heaven just like the day on Pentecost in the upper room. Fire fell and fire is falling. And fire will continually fall for the last great awakening is happening. Oh, changes! Supernatural… supernaturally changed … that many of those are the paradigm shifts… a different way of seeing things and speaking things and understanding things and walking in what you’ve been called to walk in. Oh, thank you, Lord.

Take that place of rest. It’s all working out. It will work out. It is working.

Peg continued…
Pastor Ray…

Right here at the end, I want to reread this. That the Holy Spirit is actually a person, third person in the Trinity. And, I love how Tosier put that. He’s not just like enthusiasm and that kind of thing. He’s a person the same as we are, but he’s not material substance. He’s Spirit. He has individually. He’s one being and not another. He has a will. He has intelligence. He has hearing, He can hear us. Right? We can hear Him. And He hears us. He has knowledge. He has sympathy. He cares so much for us. He has an ability to love and to see and think. He desires. He can grieve. He rejoices. He is a person. The person of the Holy Spirit and in and through Him, as we read right at the beginning, it’s not by our might or our power, but by My Spirit, sayeth the Lord God, Almighty. By the power of the Holy Spirit, we always overcome. Sometimes we need to speak to our own brains and say, “you are an overcomer. Get it. Take it receive it. You’re an overcomer. You’re created by God almighty.” You have a plan. You have a purpose. The will of God shall be carried out through you. Just speaking to ourselves.

Father, thank you so much today for everything that you said and the prayers that we’ve prayed in other tongues. The songs we sang. We believe for great effect for changes, things being rearranged, turned around, made new. You get all of the glory. You get all of the thanksgiving and all of the praise for everything that you’ve done, for all the battles that have already been won. Thank you, Lord. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen. Happy Friday and bless your weekend. Thank you.
