Morning Prayer Summary for Friday, April 16, 2021

Peg led group in worship…
Pastor Ray…

I had a conversation last night with another minister and we were talking about, you know, no matter what it looks like, no matter what the news is saying, “God is good.” And these are better days than the other days, because things are getting better in Him by faith in Him. And so we have to expect it. We have to believe it. We have to receive it. It’s better.

So, Peg, when you were singing that the first song, Philippians two, “let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus, who being in the form of God did not consider it robbery to be equal with God but made himself of no reputation taking the form of a bond servant and coming in the likeness of men.” I mean, just that alone. Wow. “And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross, therefore, God has also highly exalted him and given him the name which is above every other name. That at that name of Jesus, every knee should bow of those in heaven of those on earth and of those under the earth and that every tongue should confess that Jesus is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Jesus is Lord, hallelujah!

I just thought of this. If you were raised Catholic, I know we’re in a little chapel here, but if you’re a raised Catholic, every time, I remember it as a smaller boy and my parents, but you better… We called it genuflect. When you come in, before you go into that pew, you will bow. I never connected it to every knee bowing. But there’s some truths that they would do. But we didn’t have a clue, you know, because at that time, everything was in Latin. So those were the old days and the old ways. But, same Jesus, same Jesus. Every knee will bow… no other name above that name. Death is not above it. Sickness is not above it. There’s no other name that can be named that’s above the name of Jesus.

Jesus is Lord. You’re Lord of everything. We do bow our hearts. We bow before you this morning, and we humble ourselves. And Holy Spirit, we welcome you here, right now in this place, in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, Minneapolis. We’re here at Living Word, wherever you are. We bow before the presence, the powerful, Holy Spirit. We welcome you. We open up our hearts. We know what’s your plan. We know that it is your will, that we be full… filled to overflowing with you. All the time. Holy Spirit, fill us up. In other words, we can put it like “I open myself up… we yield to more and open up our hearts for more of you today. Right now in this day.

I had Psalm 62… I want to go down a couple of things here while we’re right at the beginning.  Psalms 62:1, 2, 5 and 8. Verse 1, “For God alone my soul waits in silence; from Him comes my salvation. 2 He only is my Rock and my Salvation, my Defense and my Fortress, I shall not be greatly moved.” That’s a good declaration. We will not be moved by what we see in the natural. We will be moved by what we see in your Word. What you say, what you talk to us about, what you say about us.

Verse 5, “My soul, wait only upon God and silently submit to Him; for my hope and expectation are from Him.” Verse 8, “Trust in, lean on, rely on, and have confidence in Him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts before Him. God is a refuge for us (a fortress and a high tower). Selah”

Let’s get in the tower. Let’s get up. Let’s look up. Let’s take our place in heavenly places. Take our seat above all of the situations and natural things that are happening in these days today.

So, We have prayed for breakthroughs for years and years and years and years. And we’re moving into more breakthroughs. It’s just, you know, I mean, sometimes things… I hate to say it like this, but sometimes they take a while in our own brains, but I re-looked up again, “what is a breakthrough?”

So, here’s just a couple things. I just want to go through them because there’s a connection here. I just read it in Psalm 62 about expectation. And there’s a connection between breakthroughs or breaking through and expectation. If we don’t expect it, we get what we expect. We speak it. But if we don’t expect it… So breakthrough or breaking through, it’s major progress or it’s an advance. It’s a step ahead. It could be like a major discovery or a military advance, an act of breaking through in some sort of obstacle that was in the way. A breakthrough agreement, a sudden advance, especially in knowledge or technique, a medical breakthrough… there’s lots of different kinds of breakthroughs.

And so I felt the Holy Spirit connected those two things. Expectation is connected like I said to breakthroughs happening. So expectation, that’s hope, anticipation. I’m just anticipating that… I’m looking forward to it… I expect it… I’m longing for it… I’m waiting for it… A strong belief that something will happen or be the case.

And then there’s one other word that I got about that: receiving it. There are breakthroughs. We declare it, we expect them, and we receive them. All right. A lot of times, it’s to take. I received that gift or whatever. Acquire or it’s something given or offered or transmitted. He’s transmitting to us right now, the Holy Spirit. And so we gotta have our receivers tuned in, tuned up to Him. And so it’s also like to hear or see, receive. I received a good report. Sometimes like it’s to admit to our home maybe, welcome guests, visitors, whatever. And then, in Isaiah 40, I wanted to read this. Isaiah 40. I’ll read it. There’s just a couple of verses here. Enjoy stability and consistency in our breakthrough prayers, our expectation that they will happen and then receive it by faith. Receive it in faith by faith. So Isaiah a 40: 3–5. “A voice of one who cries: Prepare in the wilderness the way of the Lord [clear away the obstacles]; make straight and smooth in the desert a highway for our God! 4 Every valley shall be lifted and filled up, and every mountain and hill shall be made low; and the crooked and uneven shall be made straight and level, and the rough places a plain. 5 And the glory (majesty and splendor) of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken it.”

I have this one thing that… the gifts and the callings of God are without repentance. I mean, our call is our call. It’s not leaving. He’s not going to take it away from us. And so, you know, if we don’t sense the presence as much lately or a certain day or a certain week or month or whatever, it’s not His problem. It’s our problem. Okay? It’s us. And, you know, if we don’t have the joy. We feel like we’re not anointed, or whatever. Maybe we’re not as blessed as we were, at least we think that. It’s not God, giving us the good things and blessing us and filling us by His Spirit. It’s not him going. “I take that away.” And you’re not going to experience that for a while. No! A lot of times I think we think, “Oh, I must have done something wrong. I must have done something to displease Him. Therefore, I don’t sense the presence right now.” So it’s not God changing, it’s us. I was reminded of that with our receivers. If our receiver, if you had a natural receiver to tune in for a song, whatever… Well, I’m talking old school now, but we used to have those big receivers. I had one in our garage. And I thought, “Oh, I’m going to try that again and hook up some big speakers to it. Like we used to have in the seventies.” Anyway, I plugged it in and it went… It blew a fuse and it was a mess. I couldn’t get anything.

Let’s check out our receivers. Are we receptive to what we say and what we pray to breakthroughs? Are we actually expecting what we say to come to pass? When we say it from our hearts, it’s our heartfelt prayer. And we’ve been made righteous by the blood. Let’s just be sure … There are things we can do to tune in, tune up. And one big thing is to pray in other tongues, of course, stir ourselves up in the Holy Ghost. All this week, we’re praying for our cities. We’re not just tuned into one thing that we see on the news or some things that have happened recently. We are tuned into that. We are praying for Brooklyn Center, Brooklyn Park, Minneapolis/St. Paul, the things happening downtown Minneapolis, the things happening in Chicago, work, name a city. There are some things happening that we are not in agreement with because we know it’s the devil’s ways and plans. It’s what he has planned to do. So this morning, let’s just be determined to walk in love, full of love, be full of joy because the joy of the Lord is our strength. You know, that’s the scripture… the joy of the Lord is our strength. So He’s given us His peace. He’s never moved. God is not moving in and out of our lives. It’s us. That maybe we’re not staying so full. We’re not tuned in. Our receivers are not working correctly.

Oh Father, thank you. Peg, lets welcome His presence. And we’ve said it like I’m over here and I’m saying I want more and He’s over here saying I want more, I want more of you. So let’s yield to Him for a little while here. Thank you, Father.

Pastor Ray…

One way for us to be stirred up, lifted up, filled up is by the laying on of hands. I want to just lay hands on you if you don’t mind. If you’d like me to lay hands on you this morning… it’s been over a year a year. So it’s time. Just come up and come across the front and I’ll lay hands on you for more! I’m talking stirred! To step over into what God’s called you to do. Thank you, Father. Hallelujah.

Pastor Ray began to lay hands on those who came forward…

I can already sense and anointing for increase… I just saw myself do this. I didn’t really plan on this, but I feel like the Holy Spirit planned on it, orchestrated it for you today to be stirred up in Jesus’ name for more… for more in the name of Jesus… a fresh baptism of the Holy Spirit in you in Jesus’ name. Be saturated right now. Be filled in the name of Jesus.

[some began to laugh in the spirit…]

Thank you for her, Father. Take it in Jesus’ name…a stirring… a fresh, fresh, fresh anointing. Be stirred, be filled, be saturated with the power of the Holy Ghost. Even for you this day will begin a new day of speaking in other tongues. In a new way. It’ll not be the way it was, but it’ll be in a new way today. Receive it, in Jesus’ name… increase… momentum… of furtherance for you in the name of Jesus… I pray for the fire of God… be baptized, refreshed, renewed, and set on fire in Jesus’ name … in the name of Jesus… Oh Father, thank you… Baptized… (tongues)

I have this… to break out of old ways and old patterns and old days and stepping on over into better days in Jesus’ name. Thank you, Father. Thank you, Lord. … (tongues) That greater expectation… in Jesus’ name, now… by the power of the Holy Spirit, I declare over you a change… a lifting, a renewing, a restoration in Jesus’ name… be filled… Be filled in the name of Jesus… saturated in Jesus’ name… Thank you for it now in the name of Jesus. Hallelujah. Thank you, Lord. (tongues).

You were at the right place at the right time for the right… (tongues)  Oh, the peace of God that passes all understanding. I thank you for the joy of the Lord that is your strength… I pray that refreshing today by the power of the Holy Spirit in you and through you in the name of Jesus… joy, joy, joy, joy, joy, joy… on no, not that way, but this way… step in, don’t look back, don’t look around, don’t even turn around, but keep moving in the way that the Spirit has called you to go… and the peace of God will be with you and you go (tongues)

Be directed through Him from heaven for you on this earth in Jesus’ name. Now, now, now, now, now, now … freedom, freedom, freedom, freedom, freedom. What taken place. What’s come against you. What’s come against your family. It’s over and it’s done. It’s finished and you have won because the battle was already completed at the cross at Calvary. The blood that was shed … victory is in the blood. A difference, a change, a rearranging and a turning… [laughing in the spirit] I sensed like a swirling, like a …it’s a protection, but it’s a swirling… (tongues) No don’t no, no, no, no, no. Don’t lean on your own understanding, but trust in those things He’s shown you to do (tongues) money will not be a problem for you… receive in Jesus’ name, receive, receive, receive, receive. Thank you. (tongues) today I’ll come … a different day, a different way, a different time. A new plan, a new idea, a new concept… heaven above 777 … power in Jesus’ name … power in Jesus’ name to bring about change, rearranging through you in Jesus’ name… by the power of the Holy Spirit heaven’s activities… heaven’s ways… heaven’s days …heavens plans in Jesus’ name… Oh, take it, receive… (tongues) nothing broken, everything restored, everything right… Oh, hallelujah. From the top of your head to the very soles of your feet, all the way through internal parts … inside, outside …more of the power of the Holy Spirit actively working in you to work through you to bring change for others that know you… (tongues) No, men don’t necessarily know, but you know. So men cannot necessarily say where you to go, but the power of the Holy Spirit is speaking in and through you showing you the things that you are to do now in Jesus’ name … (tongues) it’s still working. It’s still coming to pass. It’s still operating and it’s still coming to pass … power from heaven… Oh, that’s over, that’s done, and that’s finished. Step in, step over, take it by faith and walk in it by the power and through His grace in Jesus’ name… Thank you for it, Father. (tongues). Just keep receiving, keep open hearts and out over, out over the Internet. I stretch my hand forth to you this morning and say, “be filled, be stirred, receive a revelation of the anointing that is within you and know for a fact it shall not, it cannot be taken away. For you are anointed to do the purpose, the plan, the will of God almighty, and no man can take it away. No man can turn it in some other wrong way.” But stay focused, stay receiving and stay walking and speaking in and under the power of the Holy Ghost. Oh, rivers, rivers, rivers, rivers… A deluge! wave after wave of the Holy Ghost. (tongues) no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no… And on the other side of that, we say yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. No to the plan of the devil or the ways of the enemy or the lies that have been spoken for. And yes to the perfect will and plan and purpose of God almighty. (tongues) I keep getting “proceed.” Proceed, proceed… take the steps that you’ve seen in your heart. Keep proceeding, keep proceeding… It may be a little step, a little step here, a little step there… Just keep proceeding. Keep moving… keep the focus that you have … your focus (tongues) … know the things that must be shaken will be shaken, but you will not be shaken. You’re standing on the strong Word of God … on the strong will of God … on the strong plans of God… (tongues) every other plan of the enemy… Stop! Desist in your maneuvers! Whatever city you’re trying to work in …in our cities here, we resist your plans. We call you out. We call you down. We pray for the peace that passes all understanding … the ministry of your Holy Spirit… Oh, more open, more open, open, open, open… We’re open for more of your precious Holy Spirit… Thank you for the moving of your Spirit. Thank you for souls. Thank you for those to come on in, come out of darkness and come into the light… (tongues)

Woman spoke word

He’s not through with you. You may go into a time of rest and peace to re-energize, because what He has for you is greater than you can ever expect to be done. You will be used mightily in these days coming. So you go forth in it with joy, with excitement. Expect! Expect as you have been teaching us, because that expectation is growing in you and will go further and further and further as you move in Him in the name of Jesus … hallelujah, Father, I thank you. Strength, oh stronger than he’s ever been … stronger than he ever will be because, Father, you are moving him into what you have for him. That is his path. That is his destiny, and he is going to move in it with such great force against the enemy that he will not stand a chance to succeed.

Pastor Ray…

I almost felt like … It was like taking a baton, you know, taking the Baton… we’re in a race, you’re in a race. So I declare over you today, “Keep up the pace, keep up the pace, keep walking in the plan and the purpose that you’ve seen from heaven that your heart absolutely knows is true based on what He has said to you personally. And you shall move up and beyond where you’ve ever been before. And your hands, what you put them to, shall prosper. And the things that have been stolen from you shall be restored in these days. Some things a hundred-fold … return for you in Jesus’ name. I thank you for the blood of Jesus protecting you. (tongues) I want you to see yourself stepping out of some older ways and stepping into those greater days. (tongues)

I thank you for praying in the Holy Ghost. (tongues)

That’s a march… that’s a march… that’s a contending… (tongues)

[many are laughing in the spirit]

That sound of joy, that sound of laughter will be your sound when you realize the ropes that were binding you have been loosed and they’re gone … the plan of the enemy to hold you back or hold you down, I saw it like this … almost like a rope around our ankles and we couldn’t move. We couldn’t go forward. We couldn’t continue in the plan, but it’s loosed in Jesus’ name! And that’ll be the sound that each and every one of us will give forth the joy of the Lord… (tongues) that is called victory, victory in Jesus. Hallelujah.

Peg led group in worship…
Pastor Ray…

That, that was needed, that, that was necessary… It’s freedom. It’s victory. It’s completed. Restored. Made right. Better, better, better.

So today, Friday, it’s going to be better than it was yesterday because things are getting better and better and better. Right? So thank you for being here today. Bless your weekend. Thank you.
