Morning Prayer Notes for Thursday, December 16, 2021

  1. “Morning Chapel Prayer Playlist

Cindy shared…

This morning, Psalm 116 came up in my spirit because I’ve been focusing on God’s grace. Hallelujah. That’s all we need. And we just need to lay hold of His grace in every season. It’s all about grace. He finished the work and we receive all that He has prepared for us. Psalm 116. “I love the Lord because he hears my voice and my prayer for mercy because he bends down to listen. I will pray as long as I have breath.”

Prayer…

God of all mercy and grace…. reduce us to prayer… living communion with the Father of lights… where there is no shadow of turning in the secret place… where everything is right…

I will pray as long as I have breath even though death wraps its robe around me and the tears of the grave overtook me. I saw only trouble and sorrow. Then I called on the name of the Lord. Please, Lord, save me.

The “bestest” prayer… Help! Help, Lord. And He is a God that is an ever-present source of help. He’s ever ready. He’s always there. He’s just as close as your next breath.

And, Father, you give us grace when we ask. How kind is the Lord! How good is He! So merciful this God of ours, the Lord protects those of childlike faith…

I was facing death and he saved me. Let my soul be at rest again for the Lord has been good to me. Let me count the ways, Father, that you’ve always shown up when I’ve asked for help. You’re so faithful and good. And your mercy endures forever, and you are listening and answering the prayers in childlike faith.

So I said, I’m deeply troubled Lord in my anxiety. I cried out to you. These people are all liars.

We have areas where we just need to work out our emotions, our feelings, and God wants us to because He’s the God of all grace. And He straightens our crooked places.

And this is my favorite part. This is what I woke up and heard. “I will lift up the cup of salvation and praise the Lord’s name for saving me.” So we have a cup that’s full of blessing. The blood of Jesus that was shed for us. Hallelujah.

Prayed…

We call upon your name, lift the cup of salvation and say “more, Father, more… more grace, more joy, more peace. Grace and peace be multiplied to us and personal precise knowledge of God, our Father, our Savior, our “all in all”… whose ear is open to our prayer …

Father, we lift up all the hurting people today … in their bodies… the people that are distressed in their minds… perplexed and downcast… unable to see hope …

Father, we ask for your help… we know your ear is open… that you hear and that you come…
